I drove over 30 miles to get here since the Harding street location is closed called to make sure that someone could fill it in. The lady assured me that the person would be here until 11 o’clock. I let her know how important it is because we are staying in the trailer and that is our source of heat. I have three little kids that depend on me. Well I drive over 30 minutes to get to White. I pick up the phone and a rude gentleman just tells me that sorry no one is there to fill it. I just explained to him that I talked to the lady on the phone and she said come on down so now I’m stuck with no heat all night. I will not be coming back to Whiteland Flying Jay such lazy rude people Flying Jay doesn’t deserve charging by these other reviews. I’m not the only one.f

Pilot in North Las Vegas has left me…

Pilot in North Las Vegas has left me sitting on fuel island for an hour waiting for someone to get my prime parking spot. I asked if I was going to get the spot I paid for and all I got was shrugging shoulders! I have no drive time left, I seriously don't know what to do! I can't make them do their job!!!

Avoid the location in Dalton GA

Avoid the location in Dalton GA. Their “prime parking” is a joke and they won’t enforce claiming “safety”. Calling customer service is using because they act like robots. Staff are totally incompetent. It’s obvious that pfj corporate hasn’t learned much from when they got caught screwing trucking companies before.

Was at the flying j in Newnan Georgia…

Was at the flying j in Newnan Georgia was parked and told to leave cause all the truck parking was taken. There was 7 parking spots open and one left on the app. They wouldn't let me have one and asked me to leave. Plus asked if I could get something to eat and was told no you have to move your truck and since there is no parking you have to leave.

Professional owner op here

Professional owner op here. Getting very frustrated at just about everything. Food seems to be going away at alot of locations.. 20 thousand gallons of fuel a year and I can't get parking to eat a meal. More 4 wheelers blocking parking than trucks these days. App only works about 40 % of the time. Always someone showering in the bathroom. Washing feet in sinks. There was a time flying j set the standards. No so anymore.

Horrible pilots cashier

Good evening I was currently at pilots located in Ontario,Oregon store #232 on 11/20/24 at 9am and was treated poorly by a cashier by the name of Letty. As an over the road trucker my career path is draining and exhausting already. When arriving at a truck stop, this is the only time we receive rest and comfort. Upon grabbing items and placing them on the counter to get scanned I noticed the cashier and said good morning. She purposely look me in the eyes took her hands and rub her nose and proceeded to touch my items as a sign of disrespect. I proceeded to pull my items away from her and she purposely repeated the Same antics.I am no stranger to these types of behaviors in our society. Many people take their pre disposed notions and hatred towards particular religions, races, sexual orientation and ethnicities to work with them and treat certain customers different. This was a prime example of just that.I should never have to feel uncomfortable in my own skin when entering or present in an institution, organization or franchise. I only hope that this employee can stop these types of behaviors towards customers.

$19 to for a 3 hour wait

$19 to for a 3 hour wait. What a joke. If they told me this ahead of time I wold have went on to a better place. 1 shower opening up every half hour or longer and they only have 4. The service people are rude as well. I’m near Tampa but they seem to be trash everywhere.

DISHONEST SNEAKY PRACTICES

I have had a pilot / flying j rv plus charge card for at least 10+ years/ mostly I’ve not had any problem with them overall, a few of the stations YES, but not the company UNTIL TODAY ! My account iphas always been in good standing and I sent $ monthly to build up a credit so when I hit the road I had a good “nest egg” I called to insure my account was not blocked, which it was last year at this time for “inactivity” ? ? And I wasted OVER an hour before they fixed whatever reason they had for the blockage. Imagine my SHOCK & SURPRISE when I’m informed that the company had decided in their “wisdom” to discontinue the RV Plus charge card program, I’m a 99.99l9l% gas user, so apparently I’m not a valued enough customer ! They also “claim” that they have been sending out noticed for months about the discontinued card, I ONLY GOT ONE NOTICE AND IT WAS A 0548 THIS MORNING, I CALLED ABOUT 1000. I DONT CHECK MY EMAIL CONSTANTLY, BUT I DO/DID CHECK MY AVPCCOUNT TO SEE JUST HOW MUCH CREDIT I HAD/HAVE BUILT UP, WHY THE BLOODY H#!! COULDNT THEY HAVE PUT SOME KIND OF NOTICE ON MY STATEMENT IN BIG RED LETTERS THAT THEY WERE DISCONTINUING THE PROGRAM, SO I COULD LOOK FOR ALTERNATIVES BEFORE HEADING OUT NEXT WEEK ! ! !

Ever since the family in Ogden

Ever since the family in Ogden, Utah sold our most of their Flying J truck stops to some big corporations company. The quality and cleanliness, and verity of food at the counters have gone down . If you can find food at the counter at 2am anymore. Tge whit brick is dingy/filthy. It needs to be bleached ,and pressure washed. The walls from the floor 2 ft up are filthy/dingy along with the showers and walls from slopping them with a dirty mop walls and showers need to have tiles and grout slbleached and steam pressure washed. The fuel islands have never loked so bad. They used to be steam cleaned and kept in pristine condition. And the parking lots were always clean and asphalt coated. I remember when Flying J . Was well kept. And a clean respectable place to do business and stay over your break time. Just looks like another corporation stock held dump. I guess they will just milk it for it's name till they run it into the ground, like most great companies that sell out to these corporations. It truly sad. Petrol is another one. And loves isn't far behind. It's a he'll of a nice investment to run into the ground just for a stock market.

myRewards Program is a scam to get you inside

This is a review about Pilot/Flying J in general and not a particular store.

I have a myRewards card that is used at Pilot/Flying J locations. I also have the card registered with the mobile app on my phone.

Each month you can go into the app and select any number of various offers on discounted food/merchandise items. One reward that they typically offer each month is 10 cents off per gallon of fuel. You activate the offer at the beginning of the month and then you're supposed to scan your card or the barcode in your mobile app at the pump to obtain the discount on the fuel.

I have yet to find a fuel pump that will process this discount. Every time I have scanned my card or app, the video screen on the pump displays the message "Please See Cashier". I must then go into the store and pre-pay for the fuel before returning to the fuel island and pumping my fuel. Once the pumping is complete, I have to go back into the store and obtain a receipt showing what I've actually pumped. If I'm traveling with no other adults and I have a small child or perhaps a sleeping child in the car, I must get them out of the car to go inside. This is quite inconvenient. I suspect this is planned so that you have to make a trip inside the store and thus spend money that you otherwise wouldn't spend.

It has now gotten worse. The app clearly shows "My Saved Offers" along with "Save 10 cents per gallon on gas". After scanning my card in the store and paying for the fuel, the pump shows 5 cents off instead of the promised 10 cents (BAIT AND SWITCH). I must then notify the associate at the register that the pump that I have just prepaid to use is not giving me the proper discount. I then return to the pump again and pump the gasoline, followed by trip number 3 into the store to:
a) get my fuel receipt, and
b) get a cash refund for the extra 5 cents off.

To the credit of the associates in the store, they ALL have cooperated with me during the transactions and have done what they could to make it right. My complaint is strictly with the company in general. As a multimillion (perhaps multibillion?) dollar company, do they not have the resources to be able to get their rewards program and cards fixed so that you can scan the card at the pump and the discount is applied? All of the other fuel rewards cards I have ever used at other merchants have worked very well. It is no longer worth the aggravation I must endure to go to Pilot/Flying J. I would rather go somewhere else and pay a few cents more to be on my way quickly without waking the baby.

As for the date of experience, this happens EVERY time I go to Pilot/Flying J. I'll use my most recent visit as the date.
