Brilliant bench and quick delivery
I ordered a rustic bench yesterday, choose the size, colour and legs and paid for next day delivery and it arrived this morning. I had a message yesterday regarding delivery and one this morning with a delivery time slot.
It looks brilliant, is really sturdy and once I’d attached the legs it’s really level too.
The bench doesn’t come with pre-drilled holes so I needed to drill pilot holes and then attach the legs but it’s well worth that small effort for the price, and you can position the legs where you want too.
It was much cheaper than others’ I’d seen online and I’d definitely recommend to others.

Misleading website description
Ordered a scaffold board type shelf which according to the website had a wax treatment. I chose this as the shelf would need some water resistant coating. The delivery came (without any confirmation that it was being delivered so luckily I was in to take delivery) and sadly I didn’t undo the shelf at this time. After it was fitted I realised that it didn’t have any kind of wax coating and was not fit for the intended purpose. I contacted the company and they said I could buy another shelf for a discount or buy an oiling kit and do it myself. Wish I had just purchased a scaffold board myself as it would have been far less expensive. Very disappointed

We respectfully disagree with a number of the points raised in your review.
Firstly, our product descriptions do not state that the shelf is waterproof, nor do we market it as suitable for prolonged exposure to water. The item purchased is a reclaimed scaffold board shelf, and as such it retains the natural characteristics of reclaimed timber. A wax finish should not be interpreted as a waterproof coating, and no representation has been made that the product is waterproof or water-resistant to any specific standard.
The nature of the product being purchased is clearly a reclaimed scaffold board, which is reflected in both the product description and appearance. If a fully sealed or specialist water-resistant surface was required, this would fall outside the scope of what is advertised.
Upon receiving your concerns, we reviewed the matter and offered a resolution that we believe was more than fair, particularly given that the product supplied was exactly what had been ordered. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered options to assist further, despite there being no fault with the item supplied. Unfortunately, these proposals were declined.
While we are sorry that the product did not meet your personal expectations, we do not accept that it was misdescribed or unfit for the purpose for which it was sold.

Bad quality and poor customer service
We ordered a standard floating shelf and paid extra for next-day delivery. Unfortunately, the shelf that arrived was not a solid piece of oak as expected, but appeared to be made from smaller pieces bonded together. The quality was disappointing and, in our view, not suitable for use in our kitchen.
When we contacted customer service, the sales representative was not particularly helpful in explaining the returns process. We were also required to pay for the return, which cost £53.
Although I was offered a replacement, I had little confidence that the replacement would be any better than the original item. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the customer service. As a result, I would not use this company again.

To clarify, the shelf supplied was the exact product ordered and was manufactured from staved oak, which is clearly stated within the product description and shown in the product images. Staved oak is produced by joining carefully selected solid oak sections together, providing excellent stability while retaining the appearance and durability of solid oak. The shelf supplied was not our rustic oak shelf product, which is a separate item and was not the product ordered.
Following your contact with us, we offered to replace the shelf; however, as the item supplied matched the product ordered, this offer was made on the basis that the original shelf was returned to us first. Unfortunately, this option was declined.
Regarding the return costs, our returns policy, which is available prior to purchase, states that customers are responsible for return shipping costs when returning non-faulty items.
We always aim to provide clear advice and good customer service, and we're sorry if you felt this was not reflected in your experience. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best with your project.

Items were faulty ( wooden shelves were concave ) Delivery was inaccurate. We were advised of three packages. Initially only one arrived. Next day package two arrived. No assembly instructions. Product quality poor. Delivery process shambolic. Customer service person was responsive and did her best.

Would not recommend , the 2-3 day delivery is a joke , took 9 working days to get delivery , it was only part delivery, had to phone customer services as they were unaware, missing item arrived next day , told the delay on delivery was because my order was bespoke , the only bespoke about was they had to cut lengths of oak hand rail to length , fixings supplied inadequate for fixing to masonry walls , brass brackets marked stained , would not use again .

Absolutely dreadful
Absolutely dreadful, sent the wrong item. Rather than efficiently correct this they then tried to gaslight me by claiming I was wrong, despite my sending them photos of the clearly incorrect item. They then repeatedly claimed to be sending the replacement while doing absolutely nothing. Situation remains unresolved leaving me to claim a refund via my credit card company as my only current option.
So, useless and lie repeatedly in summary.
I'm editing this to provide an update and more information: over a month has passed now since placing the order, since submitting the initial review I've phoned them at least three times, emailed three or four times. They've most recently claimed the item was out of stock, then said it's back in stock, then said on three occasions it's out for delivery, and most recently claimed it's been delivered to the wrong address.
I don't have the tubing I ordered, unsurprisingly I had to buy some elsewhere as I needed it a month ago, they won't refund me either. As it stands I've effectively given Pipedream fittings an interest free loan for a month and might have to go through the hassle of getting my credit card company to deal with them.
Absolutely dreadful doesn't begin to describe the situation, everyone makes mistakes but most responsible companies sort them out.

I purchased an oak bannister which came…
I purchased an oak bannister which came with brass brackets and end caps. Although it was more expensive than others online I liked the quality of the product. I needed a Little over 3 meters so ordered 3 meters 10. My bugbear is that their site does not issue a warning to inform you that you will not find a courier to return the product should you need to if it’s over 3 meters. I contacted pipedream on many occasions asking for assistance, they recommended couriers but would not organise collection for me (at my expense) I explained that there were no couriers willing to ship the product for me so could you not organise with the courier that delivered it to me to collect it? They informed me that they would only do this if the product was faulty, in my case I hadn’t even unpacked it as we realised once the carpenter had finished that our staircase would be narrowed too much if the bannister was hung as it should be. Obviously honesty hasn’t paid in my case and although I’m attempting to sell the bannister on eBay it looks like I’m stuck with it. I really feel that Pipedream could have collected it for me and they should at least warn consumers about the 3 meter limit for returns.

We’re sorry to learn that, after your carpenter completed the work, you decided the handrail was no longer suitable for your project. However, as the product was delivered correctly and was not faulty, we are unable to arrange collection on behalf of customers. Our returns policy requires customers to organise and cover the cost of returning unwanted items, and we did provide details of couriers that may be able to assist.
We appreciate that returning items over 3 metres can be more challenging, but unfortunately we are not able to use our delivery network to collect non-faulty goods. This service is reserved for products that are damaged, defective, or supplied in error.
We understand your frustration and appreciate your comments regarding courier restrictions for longer items. We will certainly take your feedback into consideration as we review the information provided on our website.

I ordered 2 side tables to fit my small…
I ordered 2 side tables to fit my small flat and chose this company because they could make bespoke sizes.
My bales arrived today and are in pieces with home assembly required. I have rung in as there was no mention of this on the website when placed the order but the lady I spoke to just said the legs are easy to fit . The quality looks good to be honest but I’m very upset that these tables will end up costing me more as I’m not going to have to find someone to assemble them for me

Excellent products
This is the 2nd made to measure recycled wooden floating shelf I’ve bought from Pipedreams and it is excellent.
Fits perfectly and looks very classy.
I wanted the last shelf urgently so paid for next day delivery and it was here by mid afternoon the following day.
I will be buying more products from them in the future.

Match to recently installed glass/oak/stainless bannister system
Having installed a glass/oak/stainless steel banister system for part of our stairway, we were looking for a matching handrail for the remainder. After much searching we found an exact match at Pipe Dream Furniture and on delivery were very pleased with the quality of the product and the cost, which is very reasonable compared with quotes we had got from local specialist stair installers.
Fitting was simple and the end result was good. The only minor gripe is that the screws supplied for fitting were not stainless steel so we swapped them out.
Would buy from them again based on cost, quality and speed of delivery.
