Best tracker and great support

Love the tracker and the customer service is excellent, ours stopped working after almost 2 years, the tech hounds, talked us through some diagnostics, when that didn’t work they sent us a new one. We are PitPat life members which I’d definately recommend there’s lots of perks and well worth the money

Top product

Been using pit pat now since last June, thankfully never had to use to find our boy but always have it live when he's off lead, mostly in our local woods, just in case. Always find a signal and shows where he is, he had a zoomies the other week and went out of sight but I could see him heading back to my whistle, gave direction and metres away. Like there is no subscription, worth paying a bit extra and wouldn't be without it. Also used on beaches around Norfolk/Suffolk coast, no signal issues.

PitPat gives me peace of mind when my young dog is off the lead, I always know where she is. My vet recommended PitPat when my old dog began to slow down so I could track her fitness and recognise where she was struggling.

PitPat coverage is seemingly non existent in N Ireland. It takes an age to connect and only works in busy urban areas.. Areas where my dog is not going to be off lead...

It does look like your device is struggling for signal strength inside so, if there isn't somewhere with good signal you can store it, you may want to return it to us for a refund. Why we need a tracker

We have a PitPat tracker When me wife had an accident on a walk the dog went into hiding By the time I got to the area the dog was 10 mile away. Without the tracker we could never have found him. Thank you so much

Waste of money

Bought last year and worked well initially. Dogs locations always took a while to load and would often say “unable to locate”. A year on and the device needs charging almost every day. An expensive item for it to not last.

Initially great - reliability for us an issue

Initially great. Original device worked well for 11 months then just died
One day. The warranty replacement item around Oct 2025 sadly never worked as well from its arrival, usually only lasting 3-4 days ( old one was easily 2 weeks or more ) if it even had a signal at all, and regularly stopped working without even telling us it was getting flat in the app. Over the last 2/3 months it’s decided to work when it feels like it regularly no signal even outside. Nothing has changed re our location. Unfortunately now become pointless as cannot be trusted and subsequently bought a rival item.

I'm sorry to hear that your replacement device isn't working as you'd hoped.

It looks like you originally had our older model with a DUAL sim inside. However, all of our newer devices have a 1NCE sim that will roam more between different networks to try and stay in contact with us. In areas of poorer signal, the device may drain quicker as it tries to find a more stable network. Unfortunately, it does look like the signal strength is quite low in your area so the device is struggling to stay connected.

I sleep better now.

It was delivered on time, easy to set up and easy for both me and my husband to use on our phones. It is accurate enough to locate my dog.

She’s a runner when she gets loose. It’s not often, but she’s fast. Now I know I will find her. I sleep so much better now. Thank you!

Did not work in Aberdeen city

Did not work in Aberdeen city - tried the suggestions and still didn’t work. It’s an 02 SIM card - this network never works well in Aberdeen. Said the dog was still at home when she was a mile away in the park.
No issues being refunded and free return - hence the 2 stars.

I'm sorry to hear the GPS tracker was unable to locate LTEM and NB-IoT networks in your area. It does rely on masts and has a 1NCE sim inside which will roam between networks to find a connection and stick to whichever is the best at the time. Without a good connection, you are correct the location may not update as quickly as you hoped.

Does a really useful health watch.

Delivered within two days,
Helps us to monitor a very energetic dog. If in the future we need the advice of a vet we can show hard factors as to her health.

Looking at your logs, I can see periods where the signal strength looks quite low so this will cause the battery to drain quicker.
