Very good customer support

The initial delivery went astray (Royal Mail delivered to the wrong address) .The customer support is very good.
I have two dogs and its a pity that I can't track both of them at the same time - I have to switch between profiles and there is then a delay.

Fast delivery and bought it as uses GPS…

Fast delivery and bought it as uses GPS rather than Bluetooth. I didn’t realise the GPS has very limited or no function if the dog is indoors or in deep undergrowth , nothing about that in the adverts . The map in tracking is very basic albeit when I’ve used it it was accurate . A compass reference would be helpful on the map so that you know which direction to look for your dog rather than just keep moving around until you find the location getting closer . How long does the battery last and once its life is over as all rechargeable batteries have a finale life can it be replaced or is that the end of the device and need to pay £170 fir a new one ?

When you are on the map itself, you should see the compass in the bottom corner. Sometimes this is helpful if your dog is in closer proximity.
In regards to the warranty, we offer a 1 year warranty. Before this expires, you do have the option to extend it with our PitPat LIFE™ in-app purchase. For one dog this is £3.99 a month. This gives you lots of great member benefits, including extended lifetime warranty.

Wouldn't be without one

Been using pitpat for 4 years now. One broke but was rapidly replaced for free and then I just bought a second after I lost one (my fault). Great product, no monthly payments. Super fast posting and great customer service

PitPat seems like a really good idea …

PitPat seems like a really good idea if you live in a city with a dog who wears a collar and/or harness pretty much round the clock.

We live on a farm and only put her collar/harness on to go out, so the exercise function is 90% incomplete - and I have yet to get the location function to work. Given that the latter was why we bought this, we'll probably return it - except that we have to test it at our dog sitters and if it works there, then it's worth it.

Great product and great customer service

I've been with PitPat for about 4 years now and my experience has been excellent. The customer service is outstanding. Whenever I had a query any concerns were addressed and resolved promptly. When my old tracker broke today I was even offered a 50% discount of a new tracker despite it being out of warranty.

The tracking experience is pretty good as well and whilst I don't use the life tracking routinely any time I tested it it found my dogs within a couple of minutes or so. I love the recording of how much exercise your dog does too.

I would highly recommend.
