My experience with PIXL VISN has been very positive. The program is clearly structured and strongly aligned with the standards and expectations of the film and VFX industry.

What stands out the most is the focus on practical, production ready skills. Instead of just learning theory, you are constantly working on real projects that push your abilities and help you build a strong portfolio. The mentors have real industry experience, which makes a huge difference in the quality of feedback and guidance.

The environment is also very motivating. Being surrounded by people who are equally driven helps you stay focused and improve faster. You’re encouraged to take responsibility for your own growth, which prepares you well for the realities of the industry.

If I had the chance to start over, I would choose PIXL VISN again without hesitation. It has been the best time I’ve had so far.

Overall, PIXL VISN is a great choice if you are serious about becoming a 3D artist and willing to put in the work:)

My time at Pixl Visn was, unfortunately, far from what I’d hoped for. As a remote student, I quickly found myself working alone on supposed team projects, making it difficult to feel supported or engaged in a collaborative environment. This setup was uncomfortable and added stress to an already challenging curriculum.

Another major issue was that success didn’t seem to stem from the quality of our work but rather from maintaining good relationships with certain instructors. This reliance on rapport for fair assessments felt unprofessional and undermined the integrity of the program.

As for the curriculum, much of what was taught could easily be found on free platforms like YouTube, making the $25,000 price tag difficult to justify. Some instructors did have impressive industry experience, but these credentials alone didn’t translate to a high-quality education. Pixl Visn ultimately felt more like a "business-first" model rather than a school focused on meaningful learning.

After completing the 18-month program, communication with the school changed dramatically, leaving me with the impression that their interest in students ended the moment payments stopped. I ultimately left Pixl Visn feeling it was a costly, disappointing experience that I wouldn’t recommend to others seeking authentic education and support.

Sadly the previous review is correct.. Also what's sad, that they are tricking people in open houses, setting everything up on a special room with the "best" equipment, where you can't even stay because the booking system is just a mess, so you have low spec pcs and only 1 monitor to work with .. save that money and get yourself a good pc and learn from YouTube or even not ? because this industry is f.upt. its like 1% of a chance you gonna find a job and if so you have to work 24/7 for a low salary... they should be banned for fakeing so many things, trust us its not worth it and nearly 98% of my fellow students wish they would not have signed the contract ..

over the last weeks they started to fake and beg for 5 star reviews on google/ those beged reviews are writen by students who are out of school for years and there fore don't know the current state of the school/ instead of working with critics they are balanceing out with 5 stars and ignore the text because internal they think they are perfect and only care about their public status
