Planio have excellent and fast service, it's been very smooth sailing.

plan.io is the best Redmine hosting.

I help support our issue tracker that is hosted with plan.io, and I regularly email plan.io support. The number of emails I need to send per issue is usually 1. It probably averages at 1.2. They resolve things very quickly because they know Redmine so well.

In my experience, their website availability has been great. Anecdotally, I’ve never seen pulp.plan.io offline. Their certs are always working, and their servers load fast.

Once they looked into a security issue I reported. Their handling of that issue was impeccable in my opinion. They investigated, identified the source of the issue, honestly identified when the insecure code was introduced, fixed it, and proved to me it was fixed all within 24 hours. It also doesn’t hurt that they already have a security advantage from using open source software to begin with.

Also, plan.io believes in open source. Their hosted platform is built on Redmine, which is one of the largest open source, web-based project trackers that provides issue management. They contribute downstream enhancements back to the upstream Redmine community whenever possible, and their involvement keeps them as experts in hosting and use of Redmine. They also have a policy to provide free hosting for any open source project.

Great redmine online version with a modern style !

Planio's extended Remine features are so convenient to let new users familiarized on spot.

We have been using Redmine, SVN, and Git for many years, so Planio was a perfect match, when we decided to go for a hosted solution.
And with a very responsive and helpful support, we were up and running in just a few days.
Absolutely recommendable.

The product is easy to learn and easy in use. With 'Custom Fields' you can create your own (extra) fields. E-mailing from and to Planio is very good. Our customers can choose to either login or send e-mail in reply to an issue.

I really enjoyed the interface and how it works (until now) but I have not tested all the features yet.

I am a new PlanIO user (having worked with JIRA forever!). It is a learning curve for me but the customer service is very responsive. I got the replies almost instantaneously! 5 Stars for Customer service (Holger Just)

As for the product itself - Has tremendous potential and they should get there soon ;-)

Our company has found in IO Plan a perfect solution to manage and control projects .

One of the best issue trackers out there, great for large teams, and only a small team like us. Give it a go, free trial too. Highly recommended!

Whit in 1 hour a great response that solved my problem.

I asked them to import a Redmine dump. They told me it may take up to three working days, but they did it in one! And everything is in place, everything I asked them has been done perfectly.

I needed to move a Redmine instance from a legacy server across to Planio. There was a lot that could have gone wrong in such an import but I was delighted that the Team at Planio handled all the account, billing and tech issues really well and kept me fully informed. A couple of minor issues were identified during the import process and Jens was able to quickly work with me to correct the problems. Within an hour of the start of the work with Jens, I had my legacy Redmine fully operational with Planio; this was great news. I have been really impressed with their professionalism and I strongly recommend them.
