I advise against buying online from Plant Circle. The plants arrived with just one or two stalks and are almost dying. Even if they are sold at half price, you are throwing your money away getting dying plants. I shared my sentiments on instagram posts but were deleted promptly by Plant Circle.
Their healthy plant which are sold at full price are much more expensive than other places with similar quality. There is really nothing about this place I am drawn to.
A reviewer said the owner does good deeds e.g. Ukraine aid. Many people do good deeds without showing or telling others on social media. Sounds more like a PR stunt than true altruism.
Awful. Plants arrived late and in complete disarray. Two were loose in the box without dirt, one was missing a chunk of its leaves, and the last one was potted but in a sad state by the time it arrived. They only refunded one of the three plants and did not refund shipping. Terrible quality. Avoid.
The only reason Im giving one star is that there is no zero star option to click. By far the worst plant e-shop I have bought from and one of the worst online buying experiences of my life in general. I would never buy again from them and no one should in my opinion.
First of all, my package was lost during transit and they finally searched and found out twenty days after my order was made and after i had already freaked out waiting and had sent them so many emails. The customer service took ages to answer every time. They were very polite but they didn't do the job right. They let me know after all this waiting and texting them that they searched and my package was lost. They informed me that they reshipped the order the same day and they gave me the same tracking number like before that was not working so I couldn't track the second time either. So, we are a month later than the day I ordered and gave them 200euros!, my first package was lost, my second package is supposedly on the way but can't be tracked for some reason and I have a customer service that is not replying on time so Im completely freaked out and depressed. Its already ten days in the street for my second package and Im sending them emails for three working days in a row before they finally answer to me that they are going to search again what's happening. All these days Im calling the greek post company that was supposed to deliver and they were telling me that the tracking number is not working and the package seems to not yet be in Greece cause if it was they would have scanned it. The same day all of a sudden the package arrives at my door after ten days in the transit and no one knowing where it was.
First of all, the materials used to pack the plants were just paper and cardboard which I respect on one hand, but on the other hand the plants were not really protected. The outer box had big holes at the sides in order for people to hold it, but you could actually see the plants through these holes which means no protection from the cold air. They suggested that you buy heatpacks so I payed for four of them. These heatpacks supposedly function for 72hrs and my package was on the street for ten days before delivered and the box had big holes on the sides as I mentioned so I can't see the reason of paying for them.
To get to the important stuff, the plants were in a dreadful condition. I payed for 17 plants and received 16. Ph. Gloriosum was missing and no one informed me about it. The baby plants were ranging from critical damage to unrecognisable. There were four plants that were in a good shape. All the others were either severely broken or severely rotten or completely dry with no leaves at all. Worst unboxing experience ever. I was so stressed all this month and 'tired' of all this that I decided to not text them again for the sake of my mental health and just take what is in the box and try to save as many plants as I can. I had already read all the reviews here and believe that if I tried to convince them to give me a partial refund or send me some plants again or whatever, the benefit I would have would be so small because these people don't really want to help and the stress would continue on so I just let it be. I didn't even ask for a refund for the plant missing. I believe if the plant was out of stock the second time around, it's their job to contact me and inform me about that like ALL serious companies do.
In overall, instead of healthy plants I got little pieces of plant tissue that Im currently trying to reroot and a few healthy plants and one plant of 20euros was missing. All in all, I believe I received less than one fourth of what I payed.
Lastly, I think its so disgusting that these people have fake reviews on their site that is rated more than 4,5/5 misleading people to buy from them while on an independent site like this they have less than 2,5/5 stars. If I had seen these reviews before ordering I would not have done it for sure!
Had a very positive experience with Plant Circle customer service! There were problems with my order but they helped me sort everything out.
My package somehow got lost in transit and they resent me a new one. Also, sadly, monstera adansonii arrived dead, and they gave me a refund for it without a problem. So in the end all was good.
I was scared of these reviews when I ordered my plant on the 23rd of December but I must say.
My plant was packed very well, absolutely no damage and I'd definitely order with them again.
The box it came it was a bit on the large size but in all honesty the plant was in perfect condition.
Recommend them.
I have ordered from many places and I can say plantcircle was the worst, unfortunately as she tends to do good things for others, helping dogs in Ukraine, nice indeed, but when it comes to the plants, customer service, friendliness, quality, prices etc, plantcircle is the worst! I hope they honestly also used the donated money well…. Because if they handled that the same way they handle their business, I’m sorry to have to be quite doubtful about their other businesses. Never ordered again, quit the monthly box, never again!
There are other online places with beautiful, healthy and amazing plants!
I really don’t know where these bad reviews are coming from. I‘ve ordered from plant circle 3 times now and I was always super satisfied. The plants were bigger than expected and very well packed. The shipping to Austria was very fast and they only use paper as packaging material so I really can’t complain at all!
I am happy with the way they handle things, they have good variety of plants, pack well and always work with me to find a solution.
I got expensive frozen and damaged plant with one Leaf and root left too. Got voucher of half of the plants price. Ordered 4 new cheaper plants. Three of them were packed so poorly leaves damaged badly. Could have been avoided by packing plants properly! I got refund minus voucher so the refund was like zero :( and at the same time i told them the first ordered plant died of probably been frosted like the rest of thebplant. They did not get refund because of time had expired. So conclusion: i gave them 160 euros of my money for totally dead plant with 80 euros refunded of it with voucher. Ordered another plants with new postage and got 3 broken plants they refunded 20 euros. They did not count my voucher to the refund. So i have now cheap broken plants with big money :D,,

Really, really bad plantshop ! I have shopped all over EU but this shop definitely ranks to be the worse !!!! Plants are coming in such bad conditions, poorly packed, broken, infested!!! Costumer service is not helpful as everything is covered by the terms and conditions click.

I wish I had seen these bad reviews before purchasing. The plants came in such bad health, a philodendron already dying and all of the leaves full of deep scratches, another one with growing pest/stress marks. The poor packaging only made things worse. I wrote them an email with photos and they said they were happy to see the plants in overall good state and offered a 3 euro voucher on next purchase. LOL, there won't be a next purchase. Truly disappointed, I do not recommend.
Trying to get information is not easy, trying to order is not easy, had to ask if the order went through even though my payment was already accepted, but no confirmation.
Received a very bad plant, no roots, dull, weak, limp and soft leaves. Contacted immediately after unpacking, they only pointed out to their general terms and to water the plant and clean it, strange as it already came in wet moss...

He returned the discount on the next order, but says he returned it twice. After all, it’s easy to check in the PayPal system that I only received it once. But the bill was corrected where it indicated refunds twice ....
The work is unfortunate ..... I do not recommend this store, some e-mail addresses do not work for some reason, letters return that the address was not found .....

I received a plant (Philodendron Billietiae) in very bad condition, dry roots (never happened with other plant shops and I order plants every week) the leaves all broken, unwatchable. I asked for a refund on e-mail and they told me they offered me 30% or a refund based on how the plant returned and that is SO ABSURD! A plant that will die in my hands certainly dead if sent back. So with PayPal they told me the same thing, they will refund me when it comes back. I don't trust and in my opinion it's all premeditated by them. The plant has already been sent in bad condition is evident.
Talking to other people they confirm their bad service and their reputation.

Something for you, refund you or ship a new one, nothing to solve this matter. I still haven’t received my money back, it’s 3 weeks now since l received the plant - and my last e-mail from a week ago, they still haven’t replied on -
despite they are the ones shipping a poor packed plant that didn’t survive. furthermore they want the plant back
- and they don’t pay the return shipping.! I have to pay. Not only is it against the law, because this is not a cancellation or me regretting my purchase, it’s a damaged item, dead!!! They also demand all the sudden that the plant shipped back to them has to be in a “condition that they pointed out” before a “total refund for my purchase is in order” is it ridiculous and shameful, the plant where dead upon arrival! Do they honestly think it won’t be when they receive it...
Awful service!
1. I haven’t received any updates when to pick up my plants from the store - I had to remind them about my order!
2. They tried to give me unhealthy looking plants until I insisted to exchange them. The exchanged plants weren’t looking totally healthy but the shop didn’t have any other replacement.
3. The vendor told me I have to watch the plants, put them in a different room for quarantine for 2 weeks and if I see plants are doing worse, then contact the costumer support.
4. I contacted the costumer support after 3 weeks when I realized the situation with all nee leafs is bad. They said I should have contacted them not later than 2 weeks since delivery time (there was no delivery and unclear dating as they simply forgot about my order!).
This is completely irritating and misleading information and the PC sells unhealthy plants.
I would strongly recommend you NOT to buy from them!
I ordered a prince of orange that arrived dead. it took them ages to reply to my emails and refund me. they were rude. i would never order again
I ordered four plants and they arrived (quickly) with almost no protection whatsoever in the box. Just three plants bouncing around with a piece of paper loosely taped around each. Soil was everywhere. My Raven ZZ was broken, saggy and droopy with strange white globs on it. My Ficus Teneke has brown edges. It's not just normal delivery trauma- you can tell these plants had not been taken well care of before. The worst is that one plant was completely not included. When I emailed them to ask where my other plant was they said "Oh sorry we had supply issues." They promptly gave me a refund (that I had to ask for first) but they didn't tell me before they shipped it. Did they think I wouldn't notice? The final plant I received is at least healthy-ish, if not as beautiful as their glossy chic website would like you to think. Never again with them.
I ordered an alocasia dragon scale. It arrived on time but came in a soaking wet pot, I didn't water it for some days, placed it outside in a sheltered space in the morning and it still didn't dry (checked also with an hygrometer). I then found out that the roots were starting to rot, I'm currently trying to save it.
