Just truly glorious... 5 STAR.. spotlessly clean.

Just truly glorious ...5 STAR!!!! - such a beautiful property, my dream property - wish it was my home!... beautiful stylish interiors - very roomy - gorgeous bedrooms & spotlessly clean - wish all holiday properties were like The Poplar, they should give a lesson to all to show them how it should be done. Superbly positioned to the Village. Plum Guide excellent communication.
Only small downside - so great to have parking, but it is tight - we had mid car & it was very tight - a small car is perfect.

Great service

Reliable, easy to call when I had an issue with the booking and the Plum team picked up quickly, were friendly and helpful and resolved my problem within a few hours. Can recommend!

We had an excellent stay at Sky…

We had an excellent stay at Sky Parlour. This was an authentic Portuguese renovated flat just steps from the Parliament, a very safe neighborhood. We loved how spacious it was for the five of us. The upstairs loft was perfect with a sky light over the bed for stargazing and a separate entrance, not to disturb guests below. Nice renovated bathrooms and very comfortable mattresses and pillows. The location is great with a nice wine bar across the street, local restaurants yards away and the best sangria at Bonjardim, a short walk up the street. Highly recommended this gem of a spot. Hosts were very attentive and quick to respond, when our flight was delayed. Arrived on time to meet us.

Centrally located and beautiful

Perfect house for family gatherings

The house and all rooms were so much nicer even than the photos. Everything was set up and ready for us to just unpack and enjoy Christmas - even a tree and decorations already beautifully arranged.
Table laid ready for 16 people - looked amazing. Both kitchens well set up and ready for our large cooking requirement.

Apartment filthy and not as described

We arrived to check in to our booking in Paris, to a completely filthy and disgusting apartment.

There is hair everywhere, in the sheets, in the bathroom, in the kitchen, and it hasn’t been cleaned whatsoever. There are dirty slippers hanging around and filth everywhere. When booking with Plum Guide we expect a certain level of quality, and this is completely unacceptable for what we paid.

There is also an active and loud construction site happening in the building which was not mentioned. We have yet to hear back from Plum Guide at all and the secondary host is refusing cancellation to an inhabitable apartment. We also received scam emails from the secondary host 'Pick A Flat' during the booking process. Would not stay again.

Top dollar for terrible service and dirty houses

My family and I spent Christmas in London in one of Plum Guides Knightsbridge properties. Based on location and timing, we paid top dollar. The experience we had was anything but, and Plum Guide has been entirely inattentive and unresponsive about the issues.
Issues with the flat included, but aren’t limited to: the ceiling leaking anytime it rained, the front door lock being broken and unusable, various showers not working properly, all of the upholstery and carpets being dirty, stained, and covered in food, various elements in the house (light switches, lamps, paintings, thermostats) being broken, off-kilter, or held together by duct-tape in the case of the master bedroom thermostat, various kitchen doors being off their hinges, the kitchen sink being broken and unable to drain, dirty dishware upon arrival….i could go on but you get the picture.
Since checking in, maintenance has had to come 4 x times. Imagine that! That’s how horrendous the state of the flat is! PlumGuide funnily enough is not responding to my various emails and request for confirmation as to whether the state of this flat (that I have photographic evidence for and have provided to them) is aligned with their statement that they “check every home is spotlessly clean and well-maintained” and whether this is the “benchmark of quality” the provide. They say they’re judgmental and that they independently vet all of the properties, but this stay proves that’s a blatant lie and that you should be very weary when using this company. We won’t be using them again and you should seriously consider using them as well. You will not get anywhere near the experience you pay for. Unless of course you like broken locks, leaking ceilings, and dirty houses in central London - then, this is a company for you!

An attractive and very spacious flat in a great location

The apartment is large, light and situated in a terrific location. There were two bedrooms with ensuites, plus a further separate toilet.
The beds were comfortable and the kitchen very well stocked with crockery and cutlery, which I appreciate.
Gaining access and departure were both smooth and uncomplicated. Would stay there again!

Super location for walkability

We loved the unit

We loved the unit. We had a few issues upon arrival that were quickly remedied (the wrong code was given for the keybox, we couldn't figure out how to turn on the heater in the unit or how to use the oven). The issues were resolved quickly. We would definitely book this apartment again based on our experience from our 8 night stay.
