This is the WORST credit card company…

This is the WORST credit card company I’ve ever dealt with, and I’ve had several credit cards. They are dishonest and do not communicate. I signed up for a card in July of ‘25, mainly because of the $200 bonus for spending $1,000 in 3 months. I was not alerted of a bill and ended up being charged a late fee on my first statement. I consistently pay my entire bill each month to avoid interest. When calling, it took the rep over 20 minutes to try to figure out why I did not receive a bill. He finally gave up and refunded the late fee. After spending $1,000 in the first month, I called to see when I would receive my bonus and was informed it would be applied to my next statement. It wasn’t. I called FIVE more times in the next few months, only be told the same LIE. Finally, after contacting the BBB, I received call from Customer Relations. I was assured I would receive a call back within a week…didn’t happen. Called TWICE more and was told the same lie. After contacting Consumer Affairs, I finally received my bonus…3-4 months late. The final straw was me seeing an unpaid bill due in 2 days on my bank website. I had paid the full bill on 12/9/25, and I had a separate bill for $15 due on 12/22. why? So this DISHONEST company could charge me a late fee!! Just cancelled my card and am getting ready to cancel my high yield savings account.

If I could give less Stars I would....

If I could give less Stars I would talk about the worst bank and I've had all of them would not recommend just cuz he'll accept you doesn't mean it's worth it so what if their fees are waived on ATMs I promise you it's not worth it they're ATMs rarely work. Another issue is if somebody fraudulently steals your information and take some money from your account they won't look into it and say your activities are consistent with the account even when it's another state... I promise you do not waste your time you better off banking by yourself

Banker Mr Erick Jacquez Hebron Branch

Banker Mr Erick Jacquez of the Hebron Branch of Carrollton Texas provided service above and beyond to me while opening my account. I made an appointment over the phone with him. I did not leave the office until I had a complete and full understanding of the process and the policies for opening an account. I was impressed that Mr Erick anticipated the questions that I was going to ask regarding PNC Bank before I even asked. He did not rush me. He went out of his way to make me feel at ease. He definitely has a passion for what he does. And very helpful in helping me to find the plan that would suit my financial needs. Definitely an asset to the corporation, a down to earth Banker who is up front .I do appreciate that in business transactions D.Wolfe

Worse customer service ever

Worse customer service ever. My loan was transferred to PNC. They refused to work with me on resetting the payments during the COVID pandemic. I somehow managed to make the payments but it really turned me off.
Later at the end I had a balloon payment at the end of the loan. I was transferred 5 times on the phone without any resolution. Including a 2 hour wait time with a call center in a foreign country in which I refused to hang up until I spoke with someone who could make decisions.
If you are a regular average customer run from this company! Please take your business elsewhere!!!

PNC's new Updated Site

I couldn't agree more! By far the WORST consumer website I have EVER experienced. It's absolutely horrible. I takes FOREVER to simply pay bills! I started out as a National City Bank customer as a kid, then remained when PNC acquired them and am STILL a PNC customer, despite their low interest rates and fees. But now, I've had enough. My business is moving.

I don’t ever write bad reviews

I don’t ever write bad reviews. This bank is terrible. Tell me how I got 2 fraud charges. The first was a dog thing that I never ever put my card down for. Disputed got my money back and then they took it back saying it was not fraud. Then I had another charge that I asked about that looked weird. They could not even tell me what the charge was but that I used my pin there. So you don’t even know the place that charged you? So got that money back too and then they put it back on my account telling me it was not fraud… but they still could not tell me who charged me. This shit is nuts I guess anyone can open a bank. STAY far away, plus they have no branches, limited atms, and all the other ones that are not their atms will double charge you.
Just wanted to update that I have switched to Suncoast Credit Union with no fees and never will have a problem with fraud again.

I wish I could give a “no Star” review

I wish I could give a “no Star” review. This is my elderly mother’s bank. They have been rude, disrespectful, and wholly unhelpful in our attempt to add me to her account so I can help with her finances. I would never recommend PNC to anyone.

PNC AutoPay

I have been a loyal PNC customer for over 20 years and while there were a few hiccups, the service was good. The bank recently upgraded their banking online system. Since that time, late October, 2025 I have not had access to my bill pay. I wasn't made aware of the issue until I received a nonpayment notice from a creditor in November. I have been in contact with PNC since that time. My case has been escalated several times, yet it's now Decemb11th and access has not been restored. Nor has my autopayments resumed. I will be leaving this bank and I'm not sure what went wrong, I expect a bank to notify customers when a problem exist and to work to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently. They obviously have a huge problem, beware!!

I had a Savings account there

I had a Savings account there, but then they offered a Business account. So I attempted to sign up, but had real issues trying to complete the application. I called in, was told I would get a call back but did not. Then they made the offer again, and this time I called in to complete the application and, in theory, was able to open the account. Then I was treated like a beggar, and decided not to utilize the account. I was so disturbed that I took my money out of the Savings account there and moved it to a financial institution I trust.

I'm very upset with this banking

I'm very upset with this banking, from day one I specifically opened the account to rent a vehicle from Hertz Uber rental, upon arriving my card was declined twice went through wasting money for cabs two days in a row back and forth 90 dollars because the bank kept declining my transaction I called they said my card was ready to use but the rental can only swipe twice and you'll have to wait 24 hours to swipe there again so I come back the 2nd day which I had to wait until that Monday and again it declined after talking to fraud department going through transactions getting it all verified again declined while the lady assured me it would work. I've wasted 180 total in can gates due to this negligence. So who is answering to this.

The new banking app is clunky to the point of being horrible. Four clicks to make a payment, you have to go through screen after screen to look at everything where the old app had a main screen that showed everything. Doesn't show pending payments. It is so bad I am transferring to US Bank.

PNC BANK CAN'T HELP SPECIAL NEEDS CUSTOMER

PNC BANK uses the PLAID app to verify identification of special needs individuals or their parents for an ABLE NOW account. I have tried multiple times over the last 6 months to obtain an ABLENOW account for my special needs young adult. Each time there is an error, and I am denied verification. I've used my driver's license. I've used my passport. I've tried good lighting. I've tried no external lighting (glare). I've also had my son try to obtain verification, and the same result has occurred. There is no way to contact PLAID customer service to find out the reason why, and PNC Bank, PLAID's customer, is unable to assist with this part of the process. AND, the kicker, the ABLENOW account can ONLY be applied for online. I can't go into a PNC bank location for assistance. I am told by PNC Bank they cannot help me. I'm appalled that PNC BANK is using this company to verify its special needs individuals for a benefit/service they deserve and need! Change your vendor now please! PS Trustpilot just verified my identity in 2 seconds using a different company. It worked like magic. Maybe you should reach out and ask them who they use for ID verification, so the special needs community doesn't have to struggle any more for their benefits.
