PNC cares nothing for your safety or money

I was a victim of identity theft, and this bank made it very difficult to shut down the accounts opened and personal loan the thieves took out. Other banks answered my calls and responded quickly. This sham of a bank had me on hold for over 2 hours to talk to anyone, and I am now on hold with them again for about an hour waiting to talk to someone. Never bank here! They are incompetent and don’t care for your safety or money.

I am having a terrible experience with PNC Bank

I am having a terrible experience with PNC Bank Business development. PNC Bank offer me a business checking account that I will receive $400 after deposit $2,000 and 10 purchases with 90 days. Once I complete the agreement the agreement that $400 will of deposit to my account however no bonus was deposit to my account. Now business department is telling me I have to wait another 90 days before they make the deposit to my account which would be equal to 6 months that was not part of the agreement. PNC Bank business department does not keep their agreement to me. I ask for an email, or a fax number, or address A supervisor for business banking by the name Krissy refused to share me that information so that I can share the copy of the agreement that was given to me. I was disregard but simply they me that she escalated the call for a case management to call me but it won't be any different they will tell me the same. I to told her that in that case I do not want any body call me to agrivate me just have my money on my account. She claims that a case management will email me so that they can share me an email to submit the documents. I reminded her they should have the same document as me when the account was created per curtasy I will share a copy to them again for them to fix the issue. A 90 days agreement is not a 120 days agreement. I am very much unhappy. I would not advise anyone to use the PNC Bank Checking account business account.

Poor Customer Service!

Horrible customer service! Waited on hold for over 90 minutes to talk with someone who spoke broken English. Fees for accounts and lack of local branches caused me to close all accounts. But it took over a mo th to so so.
Never again. There are many other banks that treat their customers well.

Pnc decided to close down all my…

Pnc decided to close down all my accounts for no reason and without providing me any info on why or how to fix the issue since I rely heavily on everything I do with Pnc bank for my personal and business accounts , after many years of being a loyal customer I should at least know the reason or try to resolve the issue but there was no option for that as the representative over the phone weren’t helpful at all. I am Very disappointed. Don’t waste your time with them go to a different bank

The phone wait time is ridiculous and unacceptable. I was unable to send money to an external bank and needed to know why the transaction was not verified. I spent a long time on hold, and the system never provided an estimated wait time—only repeated that the “next available consultant will be with you.” After waiting so long with no information, I was forced to hang up. This level of customer service is extremely frustrating and inefficient.

One more bad experience to add to the pile

My mortgage was transferred to this bank while I was in the process of removing escrow. I had just paid my escrow balance in full at the previous loan servicer, and PNC is still requiring that I make an escrow payment. They refuse to take my mortgage payment alone. Just wasted an hour on the phone being transferred around.

PNC lacks “Customer-first resilience”

I had an unfortunate event on the day after Christmas 2025 of leaving my cell phone on top of my car and not realizing it until I was down the freeway and I saw it fly off in the mirror. All of my banking apps were loaded on this phone, so when I pulled out my standby phone that I keep in my glove compartment for emergencies, I immediately loaded the PNC app And lo and behold, I didn’t remember any of my passwords because my old phone that was destroyed recognizes my face and I’m authenticated that way however I called into PNC Customer Service to have them do a reset of my password and she said she will mail me a password in 3 to 5 days! Keep in mind that this is the holiday season. I have no access to unlock my card because I can’t get into the app and all she offers me, is to transfer me to a different department And she told me even if I go into a local branch it will be the same thing. I want everyone to know that a bank is supposed to help you in difficult times as long as you were able to identify identify and the account. This is the worst bank that I’ve encountered… ever. Her name was Sandra and she sounded like she was quoting a script. This is 2025, banks can:
• Do live video ID verification
• Temporarily disable facial ID
• Issue one-time secure access codes
• Allow branch-level verification or supervisor overrides

I opened an account with PNC in…

I opened an account with PNC in September. When I joined, I joined to take advantage of their $400.
That was 3 months ago and I was told it would take 60 to 90 days. It's been that plus.
I will be leaving PNC with a new bank account in the new year.
Customer service is horrible. When I walk in the bank they look at me like the guy the cat dragged in.
I've contacted them but they don't bother replying. I've asked them over and over to correct my account because it won't let me connect with some apps, but they don't care enough to do it.
Be careful with who you bank. I think I will have my money direct deposited into Coinbase. I am tired of banks and their smug ways.

Chinese infiltration of PNCBank

PNC’s Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) / Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions program is a domain within Enterprise Compliance, with the chief AML officer reporting directly to the chief risk officer (CRO). The enterprise policy for the program aligns with regulatory requirements and provides governance and oversight of PNC business units. The program sets forth minimum BSA/AML and sanctions standards designed to ensure that PNC is providing compliant products and services and conducting business activities in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulatory guidance. The chief AML officer provides program updates to multiple committees throughout the year.

Punishments for international fraud can vary depending on the type of crime and the jurisdiction:
Wire fraud
A federal crime in the United States, wire fraud can result in up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines. If the crime affects a financial institution, the penalty can increase to 30 years in prison and $1 million in fines.
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) sanctions
Violations of AML sanctions can result in serious legal consequences, including fines of up to $20 million and imprisonment for up to 30 years.

Fraud is considered to be false representation, dishonesty, or deceit, and can break both civil and criminal law.

I am a PNC Bank SCAM/FRAUD victim in the amount of $900,000 consisting of Chinese International Wires sent from PNC Bank. The issue at hand is I did not approve the International Wires sent from my PNC Bank checking and savings accounts. PNC Bank is also accusing me of the SCAM/FRAUD and International Wires.

PNC Bank can improve by going out of business! It is the worst bank ever!

If I could I would give this bank a -5

If I could I would give this bank a -5. I have been a customer for over 45 years and because of things that the bank did without notifying me on more than one occasion over the past 1/2 year, I have now had to pay over $200 in service fees that I honestly do not believe I deserved or were merited. The management has been completely inflexible about forgiving these "services fees". As soon as I can I will be withdrawing every penny out of my accounts!!!!
