Overall I like the site and monthly contest. Poetry has become somewhat irrelevant to many people who much prefer a quick meme, screenshot etc. However when I even get some feedback for my work I appr... See more

Title A Creative Oasis That Honors the Heartbeat of Expression.
Title: A Creative Oasis That Honors the Heartbeat of Expression.
From the very first verse I shared, Poetry.com felt like more than a platform—it became a mirror reflecting my voice, my rhythms, my roots. Submitting work here wasn't just about publishing; it was about participating in a living, breathing community of storytellers and truth-tellers.
What I appreciate most is the space it gives to authenticity. Whether I’m weaving metaphors inspired by my culture or gifting lyrical tributes to loved ones, the reception has been warm, respectful, and affirming. It's rare to find a corner of the internet where sincerity meets style—and this site does both beautifully.
The interface is clean, the feedback loop meaningful, and the exposure surprisingly humbling. I’ve discovered fellow poets whose words sing in languages I feel in my bones. That kind of connection is priceless.
So if you’re looking for a place where your pen is not just heard but felt—where storytelling becomes soul-telling—Poetry.com might just be the stage your spirit’s been waiting for.

Poetry .com is Great!
I have been a member of Poetry.com for many years. And have won many rewards from through the years.
I absolutely love poetry.com
I absolutely love poetry.com. its a community if fellow writers with opportunities to share your work, enjoy others work and even win contests. Its easy to use and a fun way to put your writing out into the world.
New contest format
Foremost, the site gives all poets from across the world the necessary voice to speak creatively and share soulfully. I love the comment section where we can offer each other encouragement on our verse. The fee for the contest well worth it. ****What I would like to see is a change to the structure of the contest. Each month we all get to enjoy the poetry of 150 or so of fellow artists. This can be taxing. The volume wears me out and I cannot devote all my efforts to all the poems. Let's revise it: Let 5 groups each read 30 poems randomly selected. They all pick 10 poems they like, in no particular order. Pool the poems together to make between 10 and 30 that would make a list of favorites. Then vote again on that list from 10-30. Now all the favorite poems will be guaranteed several readings , as from that list the top three will emerge. (In the contests that I was fortunate enough to receive a prize, not everyone read my poem, which tells me that in the current format, voters may be quitting after the first three they like). We can comment on poems we like as we go, making easier and more fun..
Great experience
Great experience, it's great to connect to fellow poets and poem enthusiasts!!
The Platform
This world is full of talented writers who never get their work recognised because they do not have a “name” . poetry.com gives everyone a platform to show their work to a world wide audience. It’s a wonderful feeling getting positive comments from people all over the world.
The gift you have been given would be totally wasted
If the fruits of your labour are never tasted.
Thank you Poetry.com
POETRY.com
I like the site and the poetry collections, but the monthly contest is a bit pricey.
Anything is possible with love and support
My experience was particularly great because I'm a poet myself and for me, poems speak volumes on who I am, where I've been and makes it possible to execute emotions that are hard to express. I can appreciate the hard work and honesty in this website and for that I'll keep coming back and share what I know with others for a long time coming. Thank you.
Awesome
I love this site. It gives you your own space and you feel published. Also people who actually care about poetry read your poems because other writers read other posters poems. And lastly, I like all the options there are for entering important data a out your poems. I do wish the monthly contests had themes to help you decide what to submit.
Poetry.com is a great platform
Poetry.com is a great platform for meeting the uprising demand for displaying everyday poetry. It is simple to work with and quite enjoyable.
A beautiful space to discover new voices
I’ve really enjoyed reading the poems on Poetry.com. There’s so much creativity and emotion in the community, it made me think differently about poetry and appreciate it more. It’s inspiring to see how people express themselves, and I always find something that sticks with me.
I'm still getting comfortable.
Most of the poems I have read (January, March and June contests - all entries) were amazing, some inspiring, some clicking my "idea" button. But then...maybe it's me, maybe it's the site design...maybe something else, but I have had difficulty navigating, if I click on review poems it goes automatically to another poem, but not necessarily to the next one on my screen, finding poets by name when I want to see what else they have written, or getting back to "home". about half the time I either stumble on what I'm looking for, or give up. I'm not giving up. The important thing is the feedback I've been given, the opportunity to have my poems SOMEWHERE out there for whatever future poetry might enjoy.

I Haven't read went through it that…
I Haven't read went through it that much to really really say much about it but the little tour I had here really proved to me that this is worth it and also I enjoyed going through poets poems and most I came across are my kind of style and also very inspiring. And also this group really assisted me in writing my poems in a way that I feel more expressed than to write to impress the next person.
And I love also the fact that Poetry.com also send us emails and keep us up to date than just going to the website time and again to check if there are any updates.
4 stars for the group for now and I am very impressed I will also go through it again.

Great place for new and seasoned poets alike. Contests are fair and a treat for all readers though the fee does discourage a certain crowd from regular entry.

STANDS4 is a rewarding multi-discipline site that makes it fun and relatively easy to add content or creations. Although poetry.com operates somewhat like a mini-social media platform, interacting with fellow poets of differing abilities and reading their works is what powers the site and keeps it enticing and relevant. It’s surpassingly worth it to join up and get involved.
People are great
People are great when voting on my poems . A great place to write poetry.
