Polar is ok, but hasn't kept up with the technology advancements like Garmin. I have the Polar Pace Pro. Firstly every few months you have to factory reset your watch because it stop synchronising wit... See more

I have owned two polar ignites over…
I have owned two polar ignites over last 3 years. Shelf life is only 1-2 years. For both watches the watch brand broke at least one time and for both the touch screens quit working after about 1 year. Customer service is horrible - impossible to get hold of or get a response. Terrible customer service experience. There is obviously a reason why they don’t list reviews on their website.
Polar grit x pro repair
Polar grit x pro.
Firstly i really enjoy the watch, unfortunately i had water damage due to a case leak (according to the repair report). Reported it to polar, got a message back that i could send it in, including a dhl shipping label. Got a message a week later that it was repaired and they sent it back. When i opened it i realized they sent a new watch, which is also stated on the repair report: replacement by new unit.
Fast customer service. No questions asked. And of course im biased due to the result, but very happy with the outcome.
My 1 1/2 year Polar Vantage V3 has…
My 1 1/2 year Polar Vantage V3 has stopped working. I has been in contact with the support team (since 1. June), and have tried everything they ask of me to get the watch up and running. The watch still doesn't work, and the support team has stopped answering my mails. I will never buy a Polar watch again due to the support team.
This company worst delivery company in the country should change his name…
This company should change his name from Polar speed to Polar very slow. The delivery driver was very nice. The person I spoke to on the phone was very nice but the whole company hasn’t got a clue tablets were sent to the wrong depot not the wrong address the wrong depot now they’re trying to send me messages saying it will come on Thursday then they’ll say it’s coming on Friday then they send me an email saying we’ve tried to contact you through voicemail which I haven’t even got voicemail so that’s a blatant lie they are about the worst delivery company in this country that just goes to show how much money is being wasted through the NHS by paying idiots like this lot
Polar support service starting to look like a scam
I contacted Polar as my H10 HRM started acting up. A lovely agent asked me tones of questions (in fairness the right questions) to see what was wrong with the HRM. Eventually she asked me to send it to them for a repair as it was under warranty.... it took them almost 3 weeks (well, I had to chase them) for them to look at it and now they are asking me 11€ to repair it or even to send it back to me. I told them it was under warranty and that's the last I heard from them. I've been chasing them and no response from them.
Poor customer service
This company does not communicate well with customers. They don't respond or reply to requests for information. I've given up I'm going to use a different company.
I’m sad to write this review
I’m sad to write this review. In particular I can see from the other reviews on this pagethat these reviews make zero difference to Polar and their customer services.
I ordered a Polar Ignite 3 watch from this site last week, and a package promptly arrived a couple of days later. I was very excited as I’d researched the watch thoroughly over several days, picking the Ignite 3 for its specific credentials. Unfortunately, upon opening the parcel I immediately noticed that the wrong watch had been sent to me. While the watch was more expensive, it wasn’t what I ordered so I proceeded to contact Customer Services to get the situation resolved. I said I was disappointed as I wanted to start using the watch immediately, and the Customer Services representative Maria (responsible for customer service services in the UK) seemingly efficiently told me that as long as I posted the item back to them and immediately provided them with my DHL return code they could then process a return while the item was still on its way to them.
However, what ended up happening was that I received a refund for the item. Under the normal circumstances this might be okay, however, as I had used my one and only annual watch discount that I receive with my Vitality Health Insurance, I am now unable to purchase any other watch with this very substantial discount. I know mistakes happen, however it should not that be that difficult to simply take one extra step to ensure that the watch in the box is the one that I have ordered. And where the company has made a mistake, promising to rectify it over a recorded customer service conversation, why is it that I now have no watch and no ability to make use of the discount code that offers me a significant discount leaving me without a watch or the alternative of spending more money than I planned to do?
I’m very tired of how the customer services in this country in general are so abysmal. This particular example is so very typical of how in the UK the customer just expected to go through huge lengths in order to sort out mistakes made by others, mistakes that should not happen in the first place. The worst thing is I never had as much as an apology, nor any of the follow-up by Maria that was promised. Extremely disappointing experience. What is also extremely disappointing is that the company does not bother to respond to any of the messages on this site, which clearly demonstrates just how little they think about customer loyalty or getting things right.
Unreliable Junk and Worthless Warranty
Unreliable Junk and Worthless Warranty
Polar H9
Worked relatively well for the first 3 months with an average of 3 hours per week and then it started to freeze and stop working during workouts.
At 8 months of moderate use, 4 batteries and 2 straps later, it is now at the point where it fails up to 8 times during a 1 hour workout.
When it freezes I have had to remove the battery to get it to work again.
On several occasions I have thrown it out the window and it still reads an incorrect heart rate for up to 10 minutes.
Followed all the online advice. Reset, tightened strap progressively. Have tried using it dry, licking the strap pads, wetting with water, sweat, gel, blah blah blah and nothing helps.
Utterly useless and unreliable junk. Northing destroys an attempt at heart rate training like it.
Contacted the Polar customer service direct as it was out of the Amazon return window and even though It was purchased from the Amazon Polar storefront, they have said they do not cover the warranty on any products not purchased directly from them.
THIS IA A SCAM ECOMMERCE WEBSITE,I WAS…
THIS IA A SCAM ECOMMERCE WEBSITE,I WAS CONVINCED TO DO A BULK ORDER OF OVER $320K FROM THEM WHILE I'M TRYING TO ORDER FOR ANTIQUE STONES FOR MY AUNT MANSION ONLY TO MAKE PAYMENT AND DIDN'T GET THE GOOD I TEXTED THEIR CS ALL TO NO AVAIL,BUT THANKS TO THOSE ON MY DP I WAS ABLE TO GET MY MONEY REFUNDED.
Go claim your consumer rights! I mentioned two laws for my country. I’m filing a charge. Which they have to obey cos I’m a victim according that law. So I send my watch back and they have to pay all back to me. Shipping, insurance for shipping inc
A big money making company, hiding away information about the ignite 3. I Holland we luckily have laws for such cases. The glass the ignite 3 is curved therefore super vulnerable for cracks. I didn’t use mine two months. And the glass is heavily damaged. When I mailed they said they knew… In Holland it’s called scamming people.
Coz if id knew id never the watch in first place.
Then they play the blame the customer card, not providing any service at all. Luckily I myself am a ceo webshop/retail. So they tried sort a sort of service but asking expenses (also forbidden).
I’m filing them suing them for selling product with misleads information. By not mentioning it on the site, email buy confirmation, not even mention the curved but vulnerable screen.
They have no customer service, this company doesn’t even earn the right the exist!
So -10 wouldn’t be enough. It’s a shitshow and they know it. Playing games going against the means of customer service.
So never ever buy a polar watch! Be warned!
They are money grabbing assholes. Disobeying laws.
Luckily the tried to play the game with the right person. It’s simpel. Just one form. And they are obligated to take the watch back. And refund my money for the watch, refund the sending cost, refund the postal insurance.
I tried to be nice and polite, but this company doesn’t give a shit.
So they lost case one already. And I’m filing more. And I’m gonna make sure they get socially exposed on all media.
Messed with the wrong CEO.
Play stupid games, you win stupid prizes!
For any Dutch readers look up the laws for:
- ontbindingsrecht
- misleidende informatie
Consumers have rights too!
If you’re foreign: Translate the two stripes laws a mentioned. Maybe your country also has such laws.
Go out and hunt my fellow companions who were handled with injustice and lack of service!
If we stand tall. Polar needs to pay the cost if they apply to you. And they will fall.
Polar V3 doesn't charge properly
Polar V3 doesn't charge properly, doesn't connect properly, updates keep failing. Sent it to Polar, same issues. Terrible product and unhelpful support.
Be careful with Polar
Be careful with Polar. Their products are pretty good when they want to work but they clearly only make them to last for as long as the warranty does. Shortly after the warranty expires their products start developing faults. $440 on a watch that last 3 years. Customer service took over two weeks to reply to my messages for help and their resolution was not satisfactory. (A 30% off voucher that has a 1 month expiry, better than nothing I guess)
My H10 heart rate strap
My H10 heart rate strap, developed water damage due to a faulty sealing ring.
I mailed em with a explanation of the problem, the numbers on the backside of the sensor.
I had lost my recipe but they still honerederd the warranty.
I got a code that made a new sensor free and I didn't have to fighet for it.
It was a pleasant experience especially sins I thought I had to replace it out of my own pocket sins I had trown the recipe away.
I'd rate POLAR as a MINUS if it was possible - terrible customer service and faulty products!
I bought my husband a POLAR watch which developed a fault after about 6 months. The watch cost £250. My husband was given a credit voucher to replace it. The cost to replace was an additional £99. So he paid the difference. The replacement watch developed a fault after a matter of months. It wouldn't charge so he contacted POLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE. After he'd provided all the info they needed and advised he'd be buying another brand, they have sent him just £99 back!!! For a watch that actually cost £350!!!
What a complete rip off! The watch is a matter of months old and does not work. Customer services are not helpful. Apparently we've got to send BOTH watches back for a refund. This is not a problem for the second watch that won't charge so is hopeless. But the original watch that broke 2 years ago? Seriously POLAR!!! What planet are you on!!!
My advice - avoid POLAR WATCHES. They develop faults and you will not get your money back or help to resolve things at all.
A shambolic organisation!!!
Bluetooth connection on H10 is terrible
Such a hassle to pair it with my iPhone - sometimes would take up to 15 minutes of faffing around with the various troubleshooting steps like resetting it and resetting my phone before it would connect. And after a year of hardly using it - not even while exercising, just occasionally to do a 2-3 minute HRV reading - it completely stopped working. Really disappointed.
Had a large collection and the driver…
Had a large collection and the driver went above and beyond, not only happy to wait but assisted with sack barrow and collected on the first floor offices as well as helping with the packing of the items. Could not fault this driver, was also very polite, professional and nothing was too much. Well done James J.
I’ve called customer service several…
I’ve called customer service several times and they do not answer the phone nor do they return calls nor do they return emails. Their product is finicky and not reliable.
I’m switching to wahoo
Stay away from this company at all costs
I have had this watch for 4 years
I have had this watch for 4 years. I have tried numerous time to get it to work and it never has. The flow app does not accept 31-8-1960 as a vaild birthdate. The watch does nothing at all. It is shit
I’m on my 3rd hrm in 5 years
I’m on my 3rd hrm in 5 years. H7 stopped working after 2.5 years. Got an H10 stopped working in Nov after 2.5 years. Polar supposedly offer a repair service. On Support chat “Katerina” opened with “there’s no repair kiosk in Uk” (passive aggressive) then chat app locked up on iPhone so couldn’t reply to her question. Had already reported to support via web she didn’t seem to be aware of the support case. Terrible support. Gave up. I like the product so bought another H10 in Black Friday sale. If these are in effect “disposable” products not built to last Polar should just say so.
Polar Does Not Ship to Military Overseas
Government purchased watches from Polar USA. This past week, I reached out to them regarding the inability to input my address overseas while deployed. The customer service representative stated she needed to inquire with a specialist. I received an email back stating that they do not ship to APO/FPO, AE/AP/AA addresses overseas. They have no idea how large of a population of military personnel are either stationed or deployed across the world that they are alienating from being able to order and have items sent directly to us. You just pushed me 100% over to Garmin and Fitbit who do ship to military located overseas. Online reviews and word of mouth can have impacts on your business. Might want to relook your business.
