Do not TRUST! There are many decent exchanges out there, never EVER touch Poloniex with a 10ft pole.

They STOLE customers assets openly during the CLAM lending incident and refuse to give anybody their money back. They're hiding behind Circle now to give people even more the runaround. Still nothing after years.

Stay away from these thiefs.

This exchange is pure scam. don't put your money

i have been with poloniex from day 1, unfortunately this is not the same company it once was. it reeks with fraud and manipulation, the devs are completely out of their depth, the mods in the troll box smuther the exchange with their egos and bleed their own negativity all over poloniex clients, rather bazzar behaviour to be accepted by a company that relies on their clients. at the end of the day i choose to trade at poloniex to try contribute to what was once a great exchange but on a daily basis i have watched the stars dissapear 1 by 1 and if there was less than one star then polo would easier adchieve that goal.its with a heavy heart i will withdraw my apis in a controlled manor and direct them to an exchange that appreciates the custom. seriously consider your options before getting involved with this very under prepared company, your funds are not safe here and you will experience completely unnessacary negativity which is the opposite of what a client needs from an exchange.

I've been trading on polo for six years. Crypto exchanges are by their very nature, regularly unreliable and often crash under load when you need to sell a spike up in price. So over the years I've grown used to the website going down when doge spikes ridiculously high or when etc vs eth played out and had postions ruined because their software can't cope. I'm used to that. However, recently it became quite obvious that they have been selling tokens which they don't own. That's why the xmr wallet is frozen during the monerun. This is fraud and so I've taken my stack elsewhere. I've given you a two star review to highlight the amazing work of the mods in the trollbox. I'll miss those guys n gals.

Worst exchange I have ever used, blatant scam!

Tried to transfer some coin away from them, and despite successfully logging in, successfully using my 2FA code device, successfully responding to the transfger approval security email, they put my transfer under a security approval email because it came from a different ip address than I normally use?!
I've only used them once, to buy the original coin, of course I have a different IP address, 99.9% of ISP in the world issue dynamic IP addresses!

I have no idea how to get my transfer approved, as they simply keep replying to emails saying the security team is reviewing my request,

Utter scam to prevent people from removing funds.

Totally a fraudulent company. From making continous fail account logins to delay or freeze access to your account to charge high mining charges that practically drop your balance to zero. These people should be prosecuted.

My approx $2800 scammed by poloniex. The currency which pumped they put it under maintenance.

LTC wallet frozen, more wallets maintenance mode, be afraid I have lose 700$. Support not respond! Poloniex can be scam.

Stole money from customers in 2019 when their technical incompetency lost them 1800 BTC. They called the theft "socialized losses".

Most victims of the theft have not been reimbursed in 2022 still, 3 years later, even though the exchange is still running and in business.

Customer service is being useless and dodging questions. Poloniex obviously doesn't plan on doing anything.

There are many other exchanges out there. Avoid like the plague.

Worst experience of my life with crypto. Extortionate fees, took 4 days to withdraw crypto. After contacting support, I was sent the same email 5 times giving me no help at all. The online chat service uses copy and paste messages to respond to you, they have no clue how to deal with any issue and pass you off to nobody. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I will only use FTX as a platform from now on.

My deposit disappeared. Support stopped answering my emails. Chat mods are saying it's going to be resolved.
AVOID WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE.

The biggest mistake in my life is that I trusted this platform. There must be an organization to stop such scam sites. This site must be stopped as soon as possible. Loss I did not check the comments here before registering and paying the money. This negatively affects other honest sites. Thank you Trustpilot.

3 years a ago I was a user of Poloniex. One day they announced that due to system matters, part of their user's 10% of deposit are losing.

They should compensate the user by return back their losing coins but they said "Hey, We will not return it back your losing but will give you a trading fee discount everytime you trade ". The total amount might be beyond 1800btc. That means it became their own money. It is just time when the exchange is bought by a company called Circle. The former Poloniex is excellent!

This exchange will not respond by any means of law cause they know if you are foreigner you have no time and enough money to sue them. Until now, you could see many claim on their twitter comment about this.

If you do not want your property to be stolen by any form, stay away from this exchange.

i was deposit 450 dollares token i never see my balance poloniex ..remove ...poloniex pure scam

Looks like a scam, fees so high and lose of funds. I don´t recomend this app at all. You can get blocked at any time.

Like other users here I had trouble withdrawing my funds, was stuck pending for days, then they locked my account for "security reasons" and I couldn't unlock it due to their system being complete sheet! Finally after weeks of back & forth emailing & escalating got my account verified & withdrew my funds. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

I forgot my Poloniex account for 4 (and more years). Couple of days ago i decide to check my old mining accounts and found one of my ETH wallets, that i use to cashout to Poloniex. I found some ETH left at that wallet (its POLONIEX wallet) and decided to take it out. When i login my balance was 0 ETH (thats not true, because i checked my ETH wallet). I did some digging and find out that if i press deposit on Poloniex, it stills got the same wallet address for my ETH. I open a ticket with them and still wait for my ETH for around 1577 days 16 hrs ago since i deposited it. Not to mention the Tokens attached to that wallet are not showing as well. Still waiting for a reply from there support about what is going on with my ETH for the past 1577 days................... Thats some slow crypto transfer to take so much time for the balance to show on my account.

such blatant theft,new listings every day but no fix for the the crypto the owew for months and yearts .join binance instead and do your selfs a favour

My account has been broken and all my founds were lost, despite I had all security stuff activated,

They saied 'we have reasons to believe your email address is compromised'.

My replay: What evidence do you have that my email has been compromised? Even so, how would you bypass 2FA? Do you have some tangible information about this case or just guessing/assumptions? (did not receive any replay)

I did ask them about my money if I would have them returned where they said: We're sorry that this has happened to you, please understand that due to the decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies, we're unable to reverse any completed withdrawal transactions, we can help you with securing your account.

I had a pretty good experience in 2017-2019. Since 2019 something changed as I could see longer delays for withdrawals, I lost some funds while lending and it took Poloniex about 1 year to return the funds lost. (At least they did return that)
