This network is an absolute joke. You can’t call anyone, there’s no live chat, and the only way to get support is by email — which takes a full day just to get an unhelpful reply asking another pointless question. Meanwhile, I’m paying for a service I can’t even use. Complete waste of money and time. If you value your sanity, avoid this company completely. They make dealing with even the simplest problem feel impossible.
I feel also that giving them one star is like telling them they’re a star but they’re far from a star in my eyes.

Avoid at all cost. Take money and won’t give service, refund or help
The ignore messages. Refuse to help if they ever reply… cannot contact them. Won’t let me log in to cancel and refuse to give me the code to transfer my number to a network that works. I was transferred to them without my knowledge and since then my phone is useless

From a boshhh migration, I paid about £22 a month. Having transferred to popit they charge me 17.5/day. NEVER SIGNED UP FOR THIS. It's been 4 days, and I keep seeing 1 month's payment leave my account. Hopefully, I will get a refund, but don't expect much from such terrible service. AVOID.

Popit!? Pop-off!!
We've had Popit for about 2 years and have it in a Wi-Fi router that provides coverage in and around the MoHo. We have the 100Gb/25Gb roaming package @ £25/m.
When abroad, we found that the roaming allowance was consumed through a small but regular (every minute) amount which ultimately consumed all the roaming allowance leaving us with no allowance to use for browsing, streaming or anything else.
I contacted Popit who told us that we'd used all our allowance. They didn't couldn't tell us what was consuming the data. We waited for the monthly rollover and switched the router off in the meantime - there was no point in having it on.
When the monthly rollover occurred, having used roaming allowances on my mobile phone to that point, we found that the Popit bandwidth for the new month also got consumed in a trice despite us not using the service it provides.
On returning to the UK I attempted to phone Popit to discuss what was going on and to find out if there were solutions that might work better. By this time I was pretty adamant that we would not stick with the plan that we have.
However, their advertised number (03307 890826) doesn't work (09:30 Mon, 29th Sept). I tried to contact them via their Chat line (10:00 Monday, 29th Sept) but this reported that "We are currently away".
So, we have a service that we can't rely on and are paying £25/m for the privilege.
and after sales services that cannot be contacted.
Hence, there is no point in keeping this service. I'm cancelling.
Why am I writing here? Because you deserve to know everyone's experience so you can take a balanced view of whether or not this service might work for you.

I have been with Popit for a couple of years without an issue. I changed my plan for eu100 roaming. Unfortunately it did not upgrade and can’t get any reply from Popit either by chat or email. Hopefully this post will get some response
Popit £75 100Gb roaming is a total rip off…
Popit now sell their 100Gb roaming for £59 down from £75 in their original announcement ..wow!...what good value...NOT!..get a local sim when you arrive for less than a third if the price.
Popit just announced EU roaming is back..trumpets bells whistles!!! Fantastic.. BUT. £75!!!!! yes £75! a month for 100Gb...what a bloody complete rip off! Anyone who pays that needs their heads testing...get a local Spanish sim for Spain if that's where your going Lobster sim or something like that or any local sim where your going I'm paying €18 for 100Gb data with Lobster put it in the second sim card slot of my Samsung phone and use the second sim for data...easy as that...or if you have an old phone use that and set it up as a local hotspot.
Why are we Brits ripped off for EVERYTHING...Popit announcing this as some sort of wondrous deal are having a Larf...pants being pulled right down on this one, what a bloody joke.....do your research and see what you can get locally when you arrive.

As you all can see Popit got back and said that you can use your roaming without limitations...I should bloody well think so at that price, whichever way you look at it its a rip off, I use Starlink now for my European travels, unlimited data at super fast speeds ANYWHERE no "dead areas' these UK mobile providers can shove their overpriced restrictive "fair use" plans....fair use to whom?...certainly not the customers. Downside of Starlink, the mini dish, about the size of an a4 sheet of paper is ideal for for motorhomers and campervanners, its says unlimited and it is unlimited, there is £189 upfront cost for the kit, dead easy to set up and can be used whilst actually on the move, the plan can be paused if required and you can move between plans at no cost, its a bit expensive but at least you actually get what is says on the tin...unlike mobile providers who tell you its "roam like home"......except when you actually DO roam then is a different story hidden away in the gobbledygook of small print.
Be aware NO British mobile providers allow you to use your full amount of data whilst roaming, unless your data plans are very low, ie 15-20 Gig or less, typically these rip off merchants only allow you to use between on average 10-15gb when roaming, of data, before they start ripping you off per Mb...if you PAY for 100Gb at home, probably you'll only be able to use possibly up to maybe 15Gb when holidaying in the EU...how is that Roam-Like-Home??... its a piss take.

Let down BADLY - No more EU 100GB
I also bought into Popit as they were providing 100GB in EU. This was changed with only a weeks notice and we’d already left, giving us no option but to source local sims (which was incredibly easy in Spain with just your passport needed in a Vodafone shop)
They have really let me down, I’m out of pocket, I’ve now got to cancel which looks a horrendous excercise, I think they are not being completely transparent on the “we weren’t told ourselves about having to drop EU roaming” as within a few days they started to show your EU roaming allowance of 25GB being used…. How could they possibly have done that without not knowing in advance? I’ve reported them to OFCOM but doubt that will do any good.

NOT HAPPY ! just signed up to 100gb of data. Now in France after only 1 week I’m told that I can only use 25 gb of data now no warning given not even an email like they said they did. In France so unable to do anything and not back until November with now very little data I wasn’t expecting. Feel ripped off

Not impressed, they wait until 1 day after payment and then change the terms of the deal that was in place. Signed up for 100GB roaming and can only use 25GB.

They make it difficult to cancel citing their terms and conditions, which are ridiculous. Why should you need to use X amount of data in the UK to cancel? Then when you try to cancel, you call their number, and there are no operators to speak to (only automated , with no options to cancel). Finally when you manage to find the place to cancel on their confusing website (clearly on purpose), you lose all data currently paid for (I've never heard of this before, why doesn't it just cancel at the end of the current month, which I have paid for?!). Bad service like this puts me off from using their service again. I would avoid them.

The only sim to offer 100gb in the EU. You just have to ensure you’ve used 2gb in the UK before you cancel. Simple. Allowed us to have MIFI for devices in France and Italy on our summer road trip. Quick responses to any customer service queries. Will be contacting them again next summer hols!

Toxic company who I will never deal with again. Popit were a nightmare to cancel. They claimed that my "roaming compliance" was less than 100% despite me having been in the UK for 7 months continuously, paying subs and using data for the entire period. They refused to cancel my monthly renewal. I had to threaten to raise an unauthorised transaction with my bank. Would not trust them ever again. Now with Tesco mobile who have no roaming fees until 2025.
EDIT: In response to your reply. I used a 100GB/month package for two months in Europe, then renewed every month for 7 months when back in the UK. Same deal, 100GB a month. I then asked to cancel and you would not let me. I did NOT downgrade to a smaller plan and I had PLENTY of UK usage. Yours is just a clown company who people should avoid. The biscuit was truly taken when I asked if I could top up early if I had used up all my data and was told that no, you have to do without until your renewal date!

Bought initially as an extra contract…
Bought initially as an extra contract because the full data package could be used when roaming in France, have now ported my mobile number and cancelled another contract I was using for home internet. All my data needs are now satisfied by the one contract

Dreadful company
Dreadful company. Hopeless website, complicated rules, very unclear about what you're going to be charged. If you ring them you find yourself talking to an arrogant unhelpful operator.
It's even difficult to cancel your contract without falling foul of small print.
