Everytime I ordered it came in a different size

I ordered two things from Poshmark at 2 different times and its always been a bad experience. One time I ordered a womens Medium tshirt and it was actually a child's medium, then the next time I ordered a pair of womens bibs, she was real sketchy on giving me any size details, and she offered a 30 refund, but come to find out, the bibs were way too big, and she refused to give me a refund. I'm done with Poshmark! It seems like its a big scam for people selling stuff.

Poshmark is perhaps the scummiest selling platform out there. They try to corner you into selling only on their platform. If I delete too many items, my account gets BANNED. And then if I refund too many orders because I can't delete items I've sold elsewhere, MY ACCOUNT GETS BANNED FOR THAT TOO. If I can't ship an item out in a couple days because THEIR LABELS WONT DOWNLOAD AND GIVE ME AN ERROR, and they wont repsond to emails in a timely manner, my account gets banned. And now I am at risk of getting banned again with NO warning for a single refund or cancellation, even at the buyers request. and they have absolutely no customer service, just the same automated AI slop responses. what the actual hell is wrong with your platform

Empty box

Ordered shoes that I could no longer find, it was only $35.50. The sender sent the shoes in a Home Depot box. Someone at USPS stole the shoes and shipped an empty box to me or the shipper sent an empty box. I took pictures of the empty box. I was unable to figure out how to get thru to Poshmark thru all their procedures. I disputed the change on my CC but my banks says I will probably have to pay anyway since I was unable to contact them. I will never purchase from them again.

Don’t use POSHMARK

I paid a lot of money for a coat that was listed as a women’s size medium, but when it arrived, it was actually a child’s size medium. That is a major misrepresentation of the item. I contacted Poshmark expecting a refund, but they refused to issue one even though the seller’s listing was misleading. I want other buyers to be careful and verify measurements before purchasing, because my experience was deceptive and disappointing.

If I could give zero i would. Used to be my favorite platform, but after switching hand, users getting restricted out of nowhere, NON EXISTENT customer service and no help for sellers, im out. Im done with it. Its trash, hopefully I get to watch them bury themselves now, because its inevitable. You cannot run a successful business this way.

Poshmark's customer service is an absolute joke. I have been waiting for over two weeks regarding my stuck funds (Order ID: 69b2e957ae8e78d7c54a85e5). Since March 20th, every single email I send is met with the exact same automated template promising a response in 24 hours. It is now April 5th, and not a single human has looked at my case.

They are holding my money and refusing to provide any support. This is the most dishonest and incompetent customer service team I have ever dealt with. They claim to support their community but instead, they ignore sellers while keeping their earnings. Total scam-like behavior. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY!

Do not trust poshmark to support your purchase. I bought what was supposed to be a new pink leather Kate Spade wallet. I paid a $100 for the wallet. When I received the wallet, it was very clear, it was not new. It had quite a few black marks. I took a dry towel and tried to see if it would wipe right off, and it did not so I immediately contacted poshmark. I send quite a few clear photos of the wallet. I mentioned that I tried see if it would wipe off and it wouldn't. Well, because I said that they will not let me return it because they say that I altered it when I cleaned it. Nothing on the wallet changed, the marks did not come off. I told them multiple times I did not use anything wet on it. The wallet did not change. They will not let me return it even though the person who listed it said it was new and it is clearly not new. Their customer service is absolutely horrible. Beware.

Buyers beware on Poshmark

I have been a buyer and seller on Poshmark for many years. I recently bought boots which had a defect on the inner lining that made them very uncomfortable to wear. I tried to message the buyer and Poshmark to arrange a return. This was not a buyer changing her mind or buying incorrect size. This was a defective item. Of course, I am not able to take a picture of the inside of the boot to prove my point.
Well Poshmark decision favored the seller, a Poshmark Ambassador! It's my word against the seller's. Needless to say I am now left with boots that I cannot wear. Poshmark suggested that I resell them on their platform. I cannot do this in good conscience.
So watch out if you are considering buying. You will not be able to make a return. They have dishonest Poshmark Ambassadors who sell defective items!!

Poshmark Authentication Lost My Item and Refused Accountability

I’ve been a long-time seller using Poshmark’s authentication service without issues—until now. I shipped a pair of Hermes sandals to their authentication center, exactly as required, and even took a timestamped photo showing the item placed inside the box before sealing it.

Poshmark is now claiming the box arrived EMPTY.

This is simply not true—and I have proof. USPS recorded the package weight at approximately 2 lbs during transit, which directly contradicts their claim that nothing was inside. An empty box would not weigh that much.

At this point, the only logical explanations are:

Mishandling or loss at Poshmark’s authentication facility

A processing or intake error

Or an issue during transit that Poshmark is refusing to investigate properly

Instead of conducting a serious investigation or acknowledging the evidence, they are attempting to shift responsibility onto the seller—even when presented with clear documentation.

This is extremely concerning for anyone using their authentication service. Once your item leaves your hands, you are apparently at risk of losing both your product and your payout with no real protection.

I strongly urge other sellers to document EVERYTHING and think twice before trusting Poshmark with high-value items. Based on this experience, their “authentication” process is not only unreliable—it’s unaccountable.

I will be escalating this further.

Update: 2 hours later after posting this review and sending the poshmark my proofs Poshmark had “found” the item and shipped it to the buyer.

So the box was not empty—despite their earlier claim.

They didn't explain what happened, didn't apologized nor took any responsibility.

This means sellers can be falsely told their item is missing while it’s actually sitting in Poshmark’s own facility. That is completely unacceptable for an authentication service handling high-value items.

I got lucky this time. But this experience has completely destroyed my trust, and I will be taking my business to other platforms.

It's just a DHgate/TJ Maxx/Marshalls reselling website with some overpriced used items

Poshmark is genuinely one of the worst platforms for both buyers and sellers and I have no idea how it still has users.

Customer service is just an email that gets back to you in two days, if you're lucky. There's zero moderation, yet they block comments out of nowhere. Report a replica, wrong category, incorrect brand? They don't care. The platform is either DH Gate/TJ Maxx/Marshalls resellers or people offloading their USED stuff at prices HIGHER than buying it new directly from the brand, with free shipping and returns included.

Sellers aren't getting a better deal either. A 20% selling fee while every other platform charges less is not competitive, it's just greed. The entire website is a joke.

Disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience with Poshmark. I was charged for a shipping label without any clear upfront notice, resulting in a negative balance on my account—even though the item weighed only 27 grams.

I’ve maintained consistent five-star reviews and sold over 100 items in the past six months, where labels have always been covered. This time, the original label appeared expired, and I followed the prompt to generate a new one—without any warning I’d be charged.

Customer service deducted money from my account, leaving me with a negative balance instead of earnings. I ended up spending my own money, time, and gas to sell a $30 item. Sharing this to help others avoid the same lack of transparency and all around bad experience.

Unclear unfair rules for selling

Buying things was ok. But when I tried to sell something, light therapy for the skin, they rejected my ad (twice incl an appeal) saying I could not sell that type of product. But if you type in "light therapy" or "red light therapy" there are pages upon pages of products for sale.
