Horrible

Horrible, ordered a bike frame, and the bike company sent it to posti within 2 days. Now a month has passed and it is still on the way to the destination country just like it has been for the last 3 weeks. Then I emailed them and they literally said "We can't help with this matter". Garbage company.

I think Posti Finland is busy falling…

I think Posti Finland is busy falling apart. Something fundamentally is broken with this company. Over the last 6 moths its just getting worse and worse. I have too many example to go into details but very simple tasks like delivering a package to the correct address seems to be a significant challenge for them. This company is broken in so many ways: Just stay away from them and hopefully the will disappear.

Worse delivery company ever

Worse delivery company ever. Posti and Itella are easily the worse delivery companies in Europe. Packages are always missing, you have to call them 10 times before you **maybe** get your package. When buying online you don't have the option to choose the courier used, otherwise I would make sure they would never handle any of my orders.

Customer support is incredibly useless and they just follow a script. This company's strategy is to save as much on fuel as possible, so they try not to deliver as much as they can and try to force you to go pick up your own stuff in god knows where.

POSTI/ITELLA BAD...

POST/ITELLA = BAD SERVICE!
Unfortunately, when ordering e-goods, the logistics company is chosen by the seller of the goods. In my case, the seller often sends via Posti, which works in Lithuania through ITELLA.
Thus, ITELLA works as follows:
1. Sends the sms that the shipment arrives and offers to choose home delivery or pick up at the post office. I gather at home.
2. sends an sms that the shipment is in the mail!
3. On the same day, two consignments delivered by ITELLA shall be delivered to two different post offices ...: (
4. Such misunderstandings are constant, so I am writing an email complaint about such a mess. No answer ... I call, the respondent explains that such bad practice is unfortunately common in their company, and the decision where to transport is made by the courier / driver.

Clown Show! Avoid if you can.

Shipped out a package on March 31st with fast shipping (through EMS) to the US, which should've taken 2-8 business days. Since it shipped we only got 1 update online on April 6th (arrived & departed from Helsinki), and it's April 21st now - that's 3 weeks with only 1 update.

We contacted them a few times, one person said that the package had only made it to a certain city around Germany, and a call with a different person had said that the package was never in that city. They also said that it should've been in the US by now since it's been so long, but USPS is still waiting for the package.

If you can afford it then go with a responsible delivery service. The lower cost is not worth the trouble.

I just got my package delivered to me and the delivery guy was incredibly rude . My package was broken things were missing and he shouted at in Finnish I asked him do u speak English he proceed to shout In English what kind of business is this. I was trying to let it go but decided to leave a review instead because I felt terrible for no reason . They lost my wheels.

I have been waiting for an urgent parcel for over 3 months now...

I Appreciate that this was ordered in December and we have had issues with flights being limited by COVID-19, but they have now LOST my wheels that cost over €1000.

Do not use these guys. It feels bad to leave this review but I have had zero help.

Priority Parcel hasn’t arrived after two months- wouldn’t recommend Posti, especially to anyone in the UK

Ordered an item at the start of January and the seller was based in Finland. They used Posti. I am in the UK. The delivery time on the site indicates between 7-12 days.

It has been sat waiting for export since the 6th of January. I have waited nearly two months. Seller tried to contact them via OmaPosti after one month and was told -verbatim- “some parcels took one and a half months, you can wait” by a representative.

Have emailed and DMed them on Twitter to no reply. I cannot use OmaPosti or call because of where I live. I understand the pandemic and Brexit may cause delays like they say in a post on their website- but two whole months?

And they are still taking shipments to the UK, when others like me have ordered weeks/ months ago only to never receive their items and there is likely a severe backlog of items stuck in Finland. This is my first experience with Posti and if I ever buy from a Finland seller in the future, I will check that they aren’t using Posti. I’d also recommend others to not use them, they are very hard to get ahold of, especially if you are not based in Finland and they are not very helpful or upfront when you are able to speak to them.

Terrible

Literally the worst postal service I have ever had dealings with, and I've dealt with some truly terrible ones. My parcel has been ready for internatonal shipping for 4 weeks now, in that time I had a parcel shipped from Australia in 5 days for gods sake. There seems to be no way to find out what is happening to it. I would recommend them to no one.

horrible

horrible. packages are going missing on Finland side all the time. even worst is that sometime is send different city and "deliver" to someone while i can track it and they just well you received it. in different city. What the hell...

also some packed will not get tacking number and just show as delivered. You cant even start to get compensation as they "deliverer it" .

I have expensive package sitting is local delivery office. I can see it is there because of other tracking company, it there for an week now, But posti say they have no information and wont even check. I think it will be market as "deliverer" soon someone will just take(steal it) and i will have big loss. have this happened multiple time in last 4 years. DON'T TRUST POSTI.

Posti "home" delivery of parcels

Posti sends SMS about parcels, for us to choose the delivery method. The problem is that whenever the choice is "delivery at home" they don't give us the possibility to indicate the door code (in old buildings there is no door bell, so they cannot ring the bell). In most cases, my phone was indicated in the parcel but they never called me. I never receive any paper notification, I can only check the status of my parcel when checking the sender's website...
As a result, I ALWAYS have to go to the nearest Posti office.
Workers from Posti can open the doors of the buildings because they do the same for delivering the normal mail.
It is an awful "home delivery" service. It just doesn't exist.
I will have to stop buying from companies who use Posti.

Correcting my previous review about Finnish Post

I have to correct my previous review about the extra postage letters. I did not find them in the system because I had made a failure reading the code - I had read zeros 0 as O:s, letter O.
And why not when the letters made a word xxxxxLOSE!
So, the official did only the mistake not to beep the code in the system.
BUT somebody did another mistake later - reregistering something wrong in the system and that´s why the letters were rolling late.
AND the same day the parcel was also reregistered somehow wrong in the system - and that´s why it was also late to fetch.
All the officials searching the letters and the parcel have been very friendly and helpful, thanks!
I¨m so old that I remember the times when the post in Finland was delivered every weekday twice - and once on Saturdays. Now they have big issues to do it three times a week. It is not the personality´s failure - the chiefs get high fee.

Absolutely hopeless in every way

Absolutely hopeless in every way. A €40 express doc (their best express service - estimated 2-8 working days when purchased) has so far taken 6 weeks and they have not heard of it for 4 weeks. But what is worse is the tracking - or lack of it (for a tracked service) - they have no idea where it is, no idea how long it might take, and no maximum time before it is considered they cannot find or deliver it. So it could, in theory take eternity (literally). They have put in a request to their international handler (actually I had to initiate it even though they are supposed to track it) but have no idea or expectation for when they might or might not respond. When asked when they pay my money back, they said: when they cannot find it, which is, as already established, potentially NEVER. Talking to the customer service is like talking to a very thick wall. Amazingly their answer was: you just have to wait...but I have been doing that for 6 weeks already. So, a service sold as express and tracked is apparently neither. Yes, COVID may have delayed it, as may other factors, but not this much, and even if it was lost, that is not my biggest concern here, it is the sense of hopelessness and endlessness of their process and the customer experience in general.

Bad service

Bad service, slow service and customer support is non existent.

Notices of packages coming in to local post office are routinely not sent.
Packages move much slower within Finland.

Most recent example is a registered expres letter that was supposed to reach it's destination in 2-3 days(another nordic country) and it is still sitting withing Finland 4 days later.

Edit: That expres letter took 12 days to travel from Rovaniemi to Helsinki airport postal terminal and then another 2 days before it finally arrived in Iceland where it took less than 24 hours to get it to it's destination.

They've lost 4 international packages in 12 months…

10 international packages in 12 months and somehow Posti has lost 4. Just disappear in their system. The customer service don't help, you have to guide them through entering a tracking number. Once they find it in their system, all they can tell you is "it should be in Finland". They supposedly look into it for you, then simply don't follow up on it. Open a dispute through their site and they just don't respond. Ask for a refund for then losing the package, still not response after 3 months. Pitiful service, worse postal service in the developed world.

Without doubt the worst Postal Service

Without doubt, the worst postal service I have ever experienced in the developed World. Parcels end up in random supermarkets or locker box, even though we live 5 min walk from a main post office. Delivery is epically slow, if you are expecting anything from outside of Finland, add an extra 10 days to the projected delivery time and do not expect anything other than SPAM to be delivered to your door.
