Warning: Parcels disappearing in Örebro – PostNord Sweden not helping

I have sent two different parcels to Sweden at different times – and both got stuck in Örebro.
Customer service is not helping at all: they avoid taking responsibility, keep giving contradictory information, and never actually solve the problem.

This is not normal: how can two separate shipments, sent on different dates, both disappear in the same place?
Instead of investigating, PostNord keeps misleading customers and ignoring emails/chats. It feels like they just want the problem to go away rather than fix it.

I am extremely disappointed and warn others: if your parcel goes through Örebro, there’s a real risk it will get lost and you will receive no real support.

just because 0 stars is not available

Edit September 29th: I talked with the support and the person I talked to today was so nice that even if I am still waiting for one of the packages, I will give two more stars.

I give it a star just because i can't give less. I bought a package on Amazon and got taken care by PostNord. It said that it was going to be faster to deliver it at a Paketbox so I did it instead of sending it home (not true, it took 5 days, more than if I would have shipped it home) but it's ok. After I get the package at the Paketbox, I download the app, I insert my phone number and I find out that without a bankID I there is no way for me to get the package, so after trying to contact the customer service instead of the very unuseful bot for about 45 minutes, I get a response and says they can't help me and that they have to change the shipping address and send it to Service point where there they can verify it's me taking the package (keep in mind I just bought some beads to make a curtain but ok). So then I ask how long it's gonna take to get and he says 1-2 business days to move it exactly by 750 meters. If I am not going to get it by tomorrow, I'll ask for a refund and never buy anything again with this shipping company. Awful.

Worst support

that resulted stop at the Veddesta warehouse, what will happen to it?

A customer service agent has entered the chat.

KA: it is stopped because the parcel is damaged
so it wont continue due to risks

You: ok, so?
should I pick it up?

KA: you can try
it is in veddesta

Agent left the chat

This is the support I got after receiving a random message that my box has been stopped because broken.

I thought that a service so proud to be considered a Swedish flag in the world should have a better service.

1star is too much

I shipped a parcel with the company, they charged me a 100 euros. The box was held due to "dangerous goods" there was nothing dangerous, apart from 2 small batteries, that break their rules. When they sent it back to me there were some missing items, furthermore I cannot get a refund, at least partial of the 100 euros, they charged me for nothing. if you can do not use their services.

Shit delivery experience

Shit delivery experience. They were supposed to deliver to my home yet they didn’t even attempt it. No call, no message, no nothing. Just straight up indifference towards the customer. Miserable company and staff

Undelivered package, no attempts

I got a message in the morning that my package would be delivered between 17:00-22:00. I was also informed that I'd receive a call from 08 - 7136818 if there was an issue to enter the building. I left a message saying that I need to be called on the intercom by my surname because there's no "port code". Then at 21:55 I received a message that they attempted to deliver my package but they couldn't come through the gate. No-one called me on the intercom to let them in. Now, they delivered the parcel weighing 12 kg to a service point. I'm extremely disappointed about waiting the entire evening, neglecting important duties in fear of leaving the house and missing the delivery. I'm convinced that the parcel was not even attempted to be delivered. I will not want to use postnord's services in the future.

Paid for delivery, got my belongings disposed without consent or compensation

I sent a parcel with many valuable personal items. PostNord claimed the packaging was “inadequate,” refused to compensate me, and then decided to take the package out of circulation. Worst of all, they did not even inform me. I only found out after asking about the whereabouts and filing a complaint.
I paid for transportation, not for PostNord to dispose my items without consent. This feels extremely unfair, and their handling of the situation shows no responsibility or respect for customers.

Zero stars

I’ve sent five boxes with personal belongings from Japan (where I used to live) to Sweden. While waiting for a decision on customs exemption, PostNord, out of the blue, decided to send back two of the boxes to Japan.

PostNord themselves sent me an email in which they told me to wait for their decision and not pay anything in customs. Now even though I present them with this information, they don’t acknowledge it and they still can’t give me an answer to why they’ve sent the two boxes back. A complete lack of accountability.

Now I myself have to contact Japan Post to figure all of this out despite it being problems PostNord all alone created.

I’ve tried calling PostNord’s customer service twice. The first time I called, their systems were down so they couldn’t help. The second time, I was met with an extremely rude customer support agent that again didn’t acknowledge the problems PostNord has caused me and even hung up on me.

I can only recommend to stay as far away as possible from PostNord.

Unreliable

Postnord were gonna deliver me a PC. I postponed the date to the day after. Witch were a saturday. They didnt show up. Even tough Ive got message that the product was on the way. So i had to wait until monday to call them about it. Had to rebook to tuesday, finally it arrived and the pc was completly shattered inside the package.
Now i had to contact the suppliers and order a new one and order a pickup so i can send the broken pc back. Now they didnt show up on the date “AGAIN” called support and they said driver apperently completed the pickup. Now another date is set for pickup. SO UNPROFESSIONAL, worst company ive dealt with. Hire som proper workers and deal with peoples packages with SOME CARE.

Possibly use an alternative.

Customer service is useful only in order to lose the patience. Their bot doesn't understand the questions, so can't give a solution. Have to watch the app in order to know if parcel arrived, because don't use advices. Employees are incompetent when not arrogant, they respond to you as if they are doing you a favor. If they lose a package ..... is lost. No search and no refunds. Never found such a poor mail service.

Not even one star

Not even one star!

Postnord delivered a random parcel instead of mine. Mistakes can happen... I tried to reach them by email but they replied after 5 days that I had to use the chat or call them.

I found out that my parcel was sent back to another postnord storage, far away from were I live, so I tried the chat! They were EXTREMELY rude! All they would say was "I can't help you, you can pick it up yourself or try to call us" and they just left the conversation.

After that, I called them although I don't speak swedish so it was super challenging to manage to reach an agent. These people were very polite and they reassured me that my package would be delivered on the same day (according to the system)! BUT... IT DID NOT

I don't blame the employees, I blame the company! When you make a mistake, you have to know how to fix it rather than expecting the customer to solve it!

Check if a worker wrote the right adress before it is finished, otherwise u will be screwed up the same way they did to me.

A worker wrote wrong adress on my paket then I forced to pay again send it back and ask reclaim for the wrong address written. It takes more than a month to get feedback back from them and after long email exchanges they agreed to pay back and requesting me my bank information. I gave all bank information and waited a week still the money is not shown up on my account. Horrible service

No attempt to deliver

Took the day off work to receive my item, and then received a message to say delivery was attempted and they will now leave at a collection point. This is simply unacceptable. No attempt was made, and the postperson was lazy and wanted to drop it off at a collection point. This is not the first time this has happened

Useless lazy postmen

My first problem with these bone idle postmen was when they refused to deliver into my post box because it was 10cms to high, so I had to lower it. You see, your post box must be exactly 1 metre from the ground as the lazy, good for nothing postmen do not want to get out of their van but lean out the window from the driver's seat to drop a letter in your box. Parcels and boxes they are too lazy to deliver so they drop these at other locations. When you buy an item and ask for delivery to your house from a seller, the seller enters into a contract to deliver it to you. Likewise when the seller of the item pays Postnord to deliver it to you, it is another contract. However, Postnord constantly break these contracts and drop things at various drop of points. My drop of point is 23km from my house. So these clowns expect me to do a 46km round trip to pick up any parcel because they cannot be bothered to do their job. After Portugal, Sweden have one of the worst postal services I have ever used.

Can't be bothered to deliver large packages

Postnord once again failed to deliver a package. They didn’t even bother trying. No use of the door intercom, no call to the provided number, nothing.

I worked from home just for this delivery, kept my eyes glued to the Postnord app, ready to receive the notice. It never came. At 12:16 the app said the package was out for delivery. At 12:20 I was told the delivery attempt had failed and it was sent back to the terminal. At 12:31 I got yet another useless notification that the driver’s attempt had “failed.”

At 12:40 I called customer support, after battling through their horrible phone chatbot. They couldn’t reroute the package back the same day, so now I either have to try again or go pick it up on the other side of town. Their conclusion? My Danish phone number somehow broke their notification system. Never been an issue before. But apparently, that’s “something to look out for.”

TL;DR: Postnord still sucks. Most alternatives are just as unimpressive. I dream of the day a drone just flies my package through the damn window.

Home delivery and customer service is not good enough

It works well for packages delivered to service point, but Home delivery is not good. Customer service is not helpful, although that may be due to the way their systems are set up.

Now, Postnord website states that Home delivery takes 1-2 business days.
August 14 - postnord picks up the package from the sender, delivery is scheduled for next day 10:00-15:00
August 15, friday - no delivery attempt, no status update
August 16, saturday - package out for delivery, but not delivered yet agan
August 18, monday - I expected it to be delivered on this day at latest, according to their own time estimate on website, but package has no status updates since August 16. I contact customer support, and they tell me "it will most likely be delivered today or tomorrow". When I ask for more information than that, I get redirected to a different agent who just suggests to wait for a notification from them, and reschedule delivery when I get it. I mention that I expected it by end of day. Agent tells me that it's not possible to deliver it on the same day, as routes have already started. I say ok, but again ask for explanation why 1-2 business days estimate is not met and why it was not rescheduled automatically. The reply is "I would suggest you contact the sender if they had delivery promises made to you" and agent leaves the chat.
I ask where I can leave feedback for both delivery and customer support. I get redirected to yet another agent, who at the very least acknowledges the delay. But still they cannot help and I have to wait to even schedule a new delivery.
Oh and I cannot leave feedback to Postnord, it has to be done through sender.
Just terrible.

Awful customer support experience.

Awful customer support experience.

I can see the status of my shipment in the app but having received no updates in over 4 days I've opened a support ticket.

They asked for my full name, phone number, adress, the works even though I have that info already specified in the app and after providing said info, support agent JC ( Johan ) simply copy pasted the status from the app.

I asked why did they need all of that info if he was just going to give me a useless piece of info which I already knew. In a very non-professional tone he told me that they need said info to verify that they aren't sharing information with a 3rd party, even though it makes no sense since they shared NO information.

Then the agent simply left the chat, no good bye, nada.

One of the crappiest support agents I've ever encountered.
