Speedy service

I posted a card, first class, at Swanage Post Office Dorset at 11.15 am on Monday. The staff are very good and very friendly. The card arrived by 10am the following morning in Portadown, Co Armagh, Northern Ireland! Now that’s service.

This post office went to pot months ago…

This post office went to pot months ago and has got no better .Long queues.None of the machines work at the front of the store .Even the ticket machine does not work now and when it did you usually had 20 tickets in front of you.Not enough staff .Inside the building looks shabby and needs a good clean .As a lifetime Cambridge resident I remember when the Post office was a clean well run business.Such a shame and not a good example of an English post office to the many visitors who visit the city as it is a complete shambles .It just continues to get worse .You used to be greeted by someone who helped you at the door .No longer. If you can go elsewhere ,I would

Listed as Amazon return point but cannot process Amazon returns

This branch at 363 North End Road, London, SW6 1NW is listed as an Amazon return point but has been unable to process Amazon returns on 5 separate visits over the past 3 months. Each time, staff say they have no Amazon stickers. This is not a one-off. It is a recurring failure that wastes customers’ time and forces them to restart the return process from scratch. If you cannot reliably stock the materials needed to operate as an Amazon partner location, you should not be listed as one.

Slow service

Post office - main one in Palmers Green, N13
Where have all the capable friendly staff gone from here?
Shame as in the mornings there seems to be one lady on her own serving and she’s pretty slow
This is a very busy post office and should be more staff
No good for the staff to be alone there either
Will avoid from now on

Shame

Called at Cardigan post office this morning to drop off an Evri parcel. There was a young lady at the counter serving another customer. There was also a gentleman at another serving point, with n unlit sign, so I waited to be called. After a minute or two I was called with a hoy, or hey, so went to the counter, where the gentleman had obviously put whatever he was doing with his 'phone on hold. I advised I had an Evri parcel to drop off. To which he processed the parcel, and handed me a receipt. During the whole process, he did not say a word, he did not even acknowledge me when I thanked him for his help. I found his whole attitude very rude and condescending, such a shame. I have used this Post Office for many years, and always found the service good, to excellent. I will try again, in the hope that service will return to normal.

Special delivery is not very special

I sent my daughter’s provisional license special delivery as she needed it to where she was staying for ID, she did not receive it and no card was left and reported failed delivery, she was only there 3 days and came home and now they have tried to re deliver it twice even after I called to say she is not there and it needs sending back to be told it will be 18 days before it’s sent back!! I ve had to cancel driving lesson already and may lose her spot if I don’t get this back now. All they kept saying on the phone, was it’s an automated process, you know where it is just send it back, what a joke I ll never use the post office again. The websites a joke as well, it does not give you any options to explain what the issue is either or be put in touch with a human unless you call, which I did 4 times and was on hold for 20 minutes plus each time.

Extremely rude

Extremely rude, unhelpful and very unprofessional. Wouldn’t help with my parcel that I’d had a message about to say had arrived. Because rude and shouted in front of other customers that it wasn’t there and they didn’t have it and clearly didn’t care.
Wasn’t even talking the the female member of staff who butted in and became very passive aggressive with her dismissive attitude.
I’ve used their services a lot and have witnessed how they speak to other customers very condescending and disrespectful.
They shut the post office early and take great delight in telling customers to come back tomorrow.
If they don’t want the job then they shouldn’t do it!!

Not Trustworthy

They say is is very complicated trying to compensate the Post masters that they wrongly convicted. Yet they said is was simple when they convicted them. Why are they always stalling. They said that missing money meant guilty. If this money was do to a faulty computer then why take so long to put things right now. They have double standards.

Overly agressive staff member. Moorgate post office

I went to Moorgate post office to have my passport renewed. I was waiting patiently and there was a lack of clear communication as to which out of the three staff members were to assist. The lady who dealt with the passports shouted at me very aggressively and told me to wait my turn. It was very odd behaviour. I was waiting patiently and the confusion was when another person on the till asked if she could help. Then the agressive lady told me to go and sit over there and wait. I felt extremely intimidated and very shaken by the experience. When I left the experience reduced me to tears and I am still extremely upset by the event. I have never in my life had someone who was working in that environment be so awful towards me. This is paramount this is dealt with as a very important issue. This person should not be dealing with the general public.

Following on from my earlier experience I then had to attend a different post office, city of London. What a completely opposite experience. Went in there. They had a ticket machine and you were able to be allocated to the next person available. Completely organised, very pleasant and got the job done as I had requested. Moorgate certainly should not have the passport facility and I do hope they re consider their staff. They need to do more basic service as they are clearly unable to provide what they are offering. Absolutely useless and they give the post office brand a terrible reputation. Shame on Moorgate post office. What an utter embarrassment and well done city of London. I still need to give this a low rating as this review is more about Moorgate. Happy to give a fresh review on the city of London. They deserve 5 stars

Formal Complaint Regarding Unacceptable Treatment by Staff Member

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unacceptable Treatment by Staff Member

Dear Customer Services,

I am writing to make a formal complaint about the treatment I received from a member of staff at your Post Office branch The Vale 125-127 The Vale , W3 7RQ at around 8:00 am.

I attended the branch to collect a package and was polite, friendly, and respectful throughout the interaction. Unfortunately, the staff member who served me was rude and displayed an unacceptable attitude towards me. When handing over my package, he simply stared at me, threw the package towards me, and walked away without any courtesy, apology, or even a basic “thank you.”

As a disabled person, I found this treatment particularly upsetting and degrading. I attended the branch expecting to be treated with the same dignity and respect as any other customer. Instead, I was left feeling humiliated and unwelcome.

I appreciate that staff may have difficult days, but there is no excuse for treating customers in such a disrespectful manner. The behaviour I experienced fell well below the standard of customer service I would expect from the Post Office.

I am concerned that I may have been treated differently because of my disability. Under the Equality Act 2010, disabled people are entitled to receive services without discrimination and with dignity and respect.

I would like this incident to be investigated and I request a written apology from the staff member involved, as well as confirmation of what action will be taken to ensure that other customers are not subjected to similar treatment.

I look forward to your response.

Yours faithfully,

Braintree post office

Braintree post office Yesterday, I was told off for queueing at The sweet counter to send one parcel today, I queued in the main post office I had nine parcels or royal mail when it was my turn the man told me she was not going to send my parcels. I had to go to The sweet counter and queue there I had QR codes and all the parcels sorted in order on the shelf ready to go. I am 70 so to keep moving around the shop carrying all these parcels. It’s not the best option for me. So I asked him to serve me, he said I’ll only send 3 I said well I’ve got more than 3 he said go to the other counter all this very abruptly and quite a rude tone to his voice I said wrongly FFS under my breath he came out from the counter and shouted at me but that wasn’t going to get served at all and I had to leave the shop which I was quite glad to do by this stage in the time he argue with me he could’ve done all my parcels. He only takes me a couple of minutes as I have QR codes. I run a small business and I’ve used this post office daily for many years I really do believe that he doesn’t like women. He’s always very nice to the men. The sweet counter is not suitable for multiple parcel dispatches as there is nowhere to place your parcels no shelf and I find it very difficult. however, if he has decided overnight, but all parcels have to go from The Sweet counter he could put a sign up but save me from queueing up twice

My daughter went to deposit money in…

My daughter went to deposit money in for me, hucknall high street, the cashier told her she was wrong about the amount. Telling her next time dont get the bank notes wet, its clear that she didnt count properly, as it was £20 less than we had both counted. unfortunately my daughter is only 16 so didnt dare argue with her that the amount that she was banking and what the cashier was telling her was wrong, make sure you count your money infront of them otherwise you'll get robbed. No phone line to call, except automated which then sends you to the website. The complaints team unfortunately told me to contact the bank-useless. What a shame there's no alternative to Royal mail, its had its day
