Hardly ever follow re-delivery…
Hardly ever follow re-delivery instructions, once again a diversion to the local Post office arranged and confirmed before the first attempted delivery was followed by two failed delivery attempts to my house, I have apparently used my 're-arrange delivery' option (I KNOW!) so here I am at ten past eight waiting outside the delivery office which is supposed to open at eight, and nicely late for work.
The Chester rude City post office
The Chester City centre post office are very unfriendly and not helpful. I have been there several times and they telly you things that are inaccurate. Yes a smile or just be nice wouldn't go a miss incompetent staff and the one in charge needs to get a grip. I will never go in there again completely inexpereienced and poorly trained staff who are not up to date and give wrong advice!
Horrid man, worst Post Office Service
Hampton 96 Station Rd, Hampton TW12 2AX - the worst service you could ever receive. The man who I spoke to regarding a parcel that had been delivered to this post office was extremely abrupt, rude and could barely speak English. It was a terrible experience trying to have a conversation with him. He wouldn't allow my son to collect a parcel that I had sent to him even though my son had the barcode to collect the parcel. My advice is stay well clear and do not use the post office for sending parcels. This place is only fit to sell stamps
Spent 15mn in 30 degree heat in the…
Spent 15mn in 30 degree heat in the queue to collect a parcel in my husband’s name. The email from Parcel Force clearly says you can still collect the parcel without the addressee’s ID, provided you have the Parcel force email as well as your own photo ID with the same address as the recipient - I had both yet the man at the counter categorically refused to hand me the parcel, saying I need my husband’s ID. When I explained the email clearly states that’s not the case, he continued to refuse. Now my husband needs to waste time at the weekend to collect the parcel thereby also ruining the surprise of a present from our daughter. This is pure incompetence! Needless to say I shall never use this branch again.
Apparently post office not able to deliver to a post office
Ordered item on Vinted to collect from post office. Upon tracking it changed to ‘returned to sender’. Tracking gave the reason as ‘recipient refused to sign for it’. How can the post office refuse to sign for a parcel? Impossible to get further information ie photo proof, all website links lead to me having to phone. Now stuck in limbo waiting for seller to receive their own parcel back because the post office was unable to deliver to a post office. Unbelievable
very rude and not polite
I have been using post office 308 Neasden lane, Neasden ,London NW10 0AD almost 3 years ordering stuff from amazon always I am receiving my item never ever missed anything, however I order few item couples days ago I have the proof item was delivered when I went to pick up my item on 19/06/26 I have been told by Indian guy he return it because you using our address I have told him not me using this address its available online buy amazon you can check on you system I have been collecting my stuff almost 3 years. end the story he was very rude and lie at the same time because in the picture he received. be carful from this guy in the futuer. Note I went back to the shop and I get my parcel after I complained to amazon they sent to me same proof I show it to the guy who refused to give me my item, he didn't even say sorry really dodgy and silly guy
I can imagine that some parcel or…
I can imagine that some parcel or letters are lost just by the sheer volume Royal Mail deals with daily but if they inform me that a parcel has been delivered to my local post office and is ready for collection having been tracked all the way there then at least I would expect it to be safe alas not the case having visited twice and been told that they would be in touch they obviously have no idea where my prescription drugs are
So I thought that I would call Royal Mail to find out what I should do next and after waiting 38 minutes I finally got through and after a lot of back and forth with someone who seemed clueless as what to do they rang off
Pathetic

Living in a rural area we get post 10-14 days after it’s been sent. Our council tax is £350 a month and apparently that’s acceptable!
Unfair negative reviews
I don't understand the negative reviews. I have a mail order business and have used Petersfield Post Office for the last 25 years. Since Adnan and Mo took over I've noticed a huge improvement in service. They are professional, courteous and super helpful in getting my daily DPD parcels and Royal Mail sorted. Although our business is based in Portsmouth I go out of my way to use them because they are so friendly and professional. Sure, sometimes the queue can be be annoying long but this is hardly their fault - we all know the Post Office is under huge pressure which is hardly their fault and I've found their dealings with customers to be friendly, accommodating and very efficient. These reviews are UNFAIR!

30 pence for a single small envelope is ridiculous, i went to a local shop and got 50 for 1.25, which is unreal in comparison, how can you justify this !!!!!!??????????

Crap service 2 1/2 months for my hospital letter, sat in all day waiting for delivery today never arrived .
Can see why people are giving up on these services
And yet again not delivered when I stayed in as delivery out for delivery for second day total joke company now
Terrible website
Great interest rate but an awful website with glitches and service outages. Only allows three pass code errors in total since the account was opened (even if you successfully login it doesn't reset to zero) after which it can't be reset by email or over the phone and requires a new code to be sent out by post which can delay access to your money by several days.
DO NOT PAY A CHEQUE INTO A POST OFFICE FOR A NON POST OFFICE ACCOUNT - YOU MIGHT NEVER SEE THE MONEY
On 4 June I visited my local post office and asked if I could deposit a cheque into my Tescos savings account. The counter member of staff asked me for my account number and sort code. He enterd it into his machine and said yes they could do that. I paid the cheque in and left with a receipt. On 11 June the cheque was still not showing in my savings account so I began to try to resolve. I called Tescos bank who told me they could do nothing as they do not accept cheques paid in via the Post Office - I visited the Post Office again and explained and was told that the Tescos sort code was on their system and shows as a Barclays account, confirming that the cheque could be deposited there, I was given a Barclays "special" telephone number that I was told would be able to resolve as the cheque would have been sent there - I called Barclays who said they would not help as I did not have an account with them. In 2024 Barclays purchased all of Tescos accounts. Result, despite my best efforts of calling all parties involved I am left with a missing cheque (nearly £2000). My only option now is to call the remmitter and ask if they could issue a new cheque. Here's hoping
Poor customer service and sexist female
Poor customer service , I'm sure it's misogony against male energy , 100 percent treat all the females with respect , I was the only male who she was disrespectful too .
Terrible Customer Service and Rip-Off Prices
Very disappointed with the service at Kings Road Post Office. The staff seem completely disorganised and lack basic customer service skills. In particular, one young lady with glasses worked at an incredibly slow pace, resulting in long waiting times, while a bald gentleman with a beard came across as arrogant and unhelpful.
The pricing is nothing short of daylight robbery. A small jiffy bag was priced at £3.99, yet you can buy a pack of five at Tesco for around £2.50. Even worse, a 1m x 12-inch piece of bubble wrap was being sold for £6.99, when similar products elsewhere cost a fraction of that price.
The atmosphere inside is gloomy and unwelcoming, making the whole experience unpleasant from start to finish. Poor service, poor attitude, and outrageously overpriced products. I would strongly recommend avoiding this post office if you have other options available.
If I could give it zero stars I would
If I could give it zero stars I would, sent off recorded delivery paperwork for lpa, really important documents came back returned to me opened and had to resend pay again and I they said was thank you for bringing this to our attention

I had a very poor experience with Hayes Post Office (UB3 4DA).
On 13 June 2026 I attended to collect a parcel that had been available for collection since 2 June. Because I work full-time Monday to Friday, this was my first realistic opportunity to collect it.
After waiting in a long queue, I presented my NHS staff ID. The card clearly displays my photograph, full name, NHS employer and a valid expiry date.
I was refused collection and informed that the ID was not acceptable.
The problem is that this exact same NHS ID has been accepted by the same branch on numerous previous occasions when collecting parcels.
Customers should not be subjected to inconsistent decisions depending on which member of staff happens to be serving.
As a result, I made a wasted journey, spent considerable time waiting, and left without my parcel.
The issue is not the policy itself. The issue is the inconsistent application of that policy and the poor customer experience that resulted.
Very poor service
I have unfortunately had to use this post office several times recently because the Lowerplace one is closed for a refurb. I walked in today with two bags of parcels to post. One of the lads behind the counter took the first one, scanned my bar code, stuck it on the parcel, put it down behind the counter and then went to the other end of the counter and started serving someone else. I said I have more parcels... he eventually came back, repeated the process and then again continued serving other people. A customer who wanted to buy some stuff from the shop came and stood behind me and said can I just get these please mate. Instead of saying I won't be a minute, I'm just serving someone he served the man, then went back to the other end of the counter and again served other people. I just stood there for about ten minutes with my bags of parcels waiting for him to finish serving other people. Clearly they dont prioritise the post office and should perhaps just run the shop.
