Have to say this company has got to be the best , from start to finish 10/10, Dan the owner of the company makes sure you are well looked after, from ordering to fitting, do not go anywhere else , you will be truly happy with the service.

Amazing from start to finish. Had darren and someone beginning with S, I want to say Simon fit my vynil. They were both amazing. I had requested darren because he was so good and was skeptical when someone new turned up but he was amazing too!

Will the salesman was brilliant. The carpet fitters were crap. we spent £1000 and the carpets look creased and baggy. my bracket holding a curtain got pulled out of the wall and ripped a small piece of wallpaper. The carpet fitter blamed me. Disgusting. I want a total refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. PLEASE,PLEASE READ THESE REVIEWS. I WISH TO GOD I WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Absolute pleasure dealing with these guys, from point of ordering to fitting.

All were fantastic and extremely knowledgeable from the guy who measured up, sales team, management, warehouse team and the three different teams of fitters. We had to spread out the fitting over 6 weeks as each room was prepped / decorated beforehand. Potters couldn't have been more accommodating.

Slight mix up with two booking dates due to the extra Platinum Jubilee BH and where they asked if I could bring everything forward a week. Not a problem for me or my decorator so was more than happy to accommodate them.

I really cant say anything more than I have but these guys are now my go to company and if still working as a Site Manger they would have been used on each and every site I managed as well. 110% from the off!

Amazing customer service, friendly fitters and all at a competitive price. Could not have asked for better!

We have had vinyl floor laid throughout the house which looks nice however the sealant applied is very poor indeed, every room has to be worked on to put right.
I did contact Potters who could arrange for the fitter to return but we opted for them to send out more sealant and we will put it right.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Got completely and utterly ripped off my this company a few months ago, they laid some laminate flooring in our kitchen and hall, which had the same surface area as a Vauxhall corsa.
Tiny.

They charged us £400 for this, left it unfinished.

Bareing in mind i had no idea what I actually needed for it ie beeding, aqua underlay. So they took massive advantage of that, sold us way too much beeding, we are talking about 4-5 rooms worth of beeding.

Then they flat out refused to come back and finish the job, they had not sanded down the kick boards, which potters said apparently was not their problem, i had to threaten them with consumers advice before they did anything. Then when the workman came out he explained that all the FLOOR layers were not Carpinters so couldn’t do anything.

The customer service and care, is just no other word than dreadful.

Overall one of the worst companies i have ever come across.

I erg anyone who is thinking about using this company, do not do it. They are con artists, which awful at what they do.

The gentleman serving me in the store was friendly and helpful, but this was the end of any positives from this company. On the day of the fitting, a man came at approximately 1000hrs. He came in to the house to see what needed doing, he absolutely stank of alcohol. On his inspection he said the surveyor had made a mistake, the job was too big for one person, he wouldn’t be able to get the carpets in alone and probably wouldn’t be able to fit them all that same day. He also said the old carpets were a pain to remove because of shoddy workmanship on whoever laid them.

He went on to say the carpets wouldn’t fit in each of the rooms due to the doors being too low to the floor. He said that I’d have to find someone to shave the doors. I tried desperately to find someone at late notice but couldn’t find anyone with the right tools. Later the fitter then said he could do it but it would cost £25 extra per door. I was shocked at this, why wasn’t this noted in the initial surveyors report? I went ahead with this as I had no other option.

The fitter complained that they were fire doors and he was breaking the rules by taking them off the hinges. Again I didn’t know what to say to this.

He continued to do the work and was eventually finished some time between 6/7pm. Although the carpets fitted do look and feel nice, the whole experience was stressful, upsetting and darn right unprofessional. I complained to Potters in January and it is now June and I still haven’t heard anything back.

Avoid this company at all costs.

After over a year of waiting for them to fit our bedroom carpet we got extremely fed up and rang to cancel.
The manager rang back and very rudely told us we would be charged a 30% cancellation fee.
How can a company do this to a good customer who has already spent over £2000 pound with them.
I think we were very patient with them they had are money for a whole year with no contact what so ever

We are delighted and over the moon with our hard flooring (project flooring herringbone with border) Friendly and extremely professional fitters. Darren and Steve were exceptionally superb and extremely talented craftsmen dealing with every little detail three floors up ! and with social distancing to boot .
I could not recommend the supply and fit more Potters is more than a carpet store its quality and exceptional value for money because of the end user experience Thank you Potters we will be back

Arranged a quote for flooring through city and asked if they could bring samples on the flooring I was thinking of having graham arrived on time was polite and I needed to confirm sub floor before I could confirm price and agreed for two samples of quick step to be dropped off at the weekend ,they never arrived have rand graham directly to which he can’t remember who I was so told him not to bother as it obviously was not important to him to which the reply was ok .obviously don’t want the business and certainly I would not consider them either .

Easy decision purchasing Living Room carpet with Potters. Told our sales rep what we wanted and we were shown the full range of options and left to make a decision without being pushed but was given all the appropriate information. Fitters representing Potters were tidy, considerate of the weather and polite. Wouldn't hesitate to order again from themm

Unprofessional in almost every aspect. Carpet was due to be fitted in September, but due to the ineptitude of the carpet fitter, it was cut too short. They agreed to re-order the carpet and get it fitted, but said would take about a month. Got a call halfway thro NOV to say the man had just "found" a bit of carpet in their warehouse with my name on! Agreed for them to re-fit on Thurs 26/11 - and they turned up with the wrong carpet! What imbecile gets paid to send out items without checking? More than 24 hours after the carpet fitters left here with their roll of useless carpet, I STILL have not had the courtsey of a call from this company to either apologise, or to discuss what they re going to do. To date, I have had to make all the calls to this company to find out what is going on, they never make the initial contact. Atrocious "service" and they obviously employ staff who haven't got the first idea of the meaning of customer service. Wish I'd had the sense to read the reviews before I purchased from them, but will never do so again. It now looks as tho it will be 5 MONTHS from when their carpet fitter first came here, to when the right carpet will be fitted. Rubbish service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Simply awful company. They put down lino and then years later, put new lino on top of the old. We had young kids who had weed all over the old lino so the smell was terrible when it came up. Save your money, choose a proper company.

Had real wooden floor fitted last week. Of course I am aware that it’s a natural product, but this looks like a chess board. It’s meant to be oak, some planks have been laid right next to ones that are walnut in colour. We knew there would be some variation but this is like a 2 coloured hall. Absolutely no help, offers or even sympathy from Dan, Sophie and the other so called directors. Should have smelt a rat when one salesman kept looking at his phone whilst talking to us, and the other spat Cornish pasty in my face, determined we shouldn’t encroach on his lunch!

Have been regular customers for 30 years, when I asked if it would be better to offer to re fit it rather than lose all future business, he simply said ‘we’re here to make money, that’s all we’re bothered about. Unbelievable.

Excellent service as usual! Would highly recommend.

Awful. I had a fairly expensive vinyl floor fitted in my bathroom which was cut short in several places and was left unsealed (I was left with a can of sealant and told it would stretch out in time - it hasn't) my bath panel was scratched too. I sent a letter to complain but they didn't even have the decency to reply. Don't waste your hard earned money on shopping here, there is much better service to be had elsewhere.

fitters damaged 11 places in my house whilst fitting the carpet, potters ignored my numerous phone calls and emails

Excellent service from the staff at Potters Superstore, Anstey Leic's.
Particularly Vijay who handled an issue for us regarding our new bed that we had ordered.
There was a problem with the bed frame and mattress after delivery and so he arranged a replacement bed with the supplier. He kept us informed of timescales and was a pleasure to speak to.
Potters Superstore were fantastic and we will definitely be returning to them for more beds etc..
