I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this pain management practice. I began the process of treatment, including preparing for a possible ablation procedure, and provided my MRI results along with my PCP’s documented diagnoses of spinal stenosis and osteoarthritis.
During my appointment, I simply requested an adjustment to my NSAID (naproxen) dosage to better manage my pain — not an opioid or controlled medication — and my request was refused without what I felt was thoughtful consideration or meaningful discussion. I did not feel heard, supported, or treated with empathy regarding my specific medical needs.
After paying in full for the visit, I ultimately chose to seek care elsewhere and will be continuing treatment with Baylor Orthopedics. The only person who showed genuine compassion during my visit was the receptionist, who kindly listened while I expressed my concerns.
I have never experienced such a dismissive approach in a medical setting before. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this provider!
