Jay was swift, professional and full of good advice, truly - great job, thank you very muchamazing organisational skills! We had our study/home office re-modeled, which involved lots of shelving in awkward corners, around corners etc - there were a few issues that needed to be resolved but these arose out of me as much as anything and Jay saw to resolving them as quickly as he does everything- great work and would definately recommend/use again

Prestige carried out a bathroom and bedroom renovation for us (which involved moving the bathroom to a different location within the space). We are really pleased with the end result - everything is looking really sharp. One of the best things we found with Prestige was communication. Jay was always available and quick to respond. He was very calm and it was easy to talk things through with him throughout the build. We found the rest of the team really nice guys too - good at their jobs and very respectful about being in our house. We would recommend them!

Prestige Building Management (PBM) undertook the total refurbishment of our warehouse conversion flat in Clerkenwell in Summer/Autumn 2020. Our newly acquired property was in dire need of gutting, wall reconfiguration and transformation into a contemporary space. We got quotes from various companies and felt that PBM was not only professional, realistic and keen but understood what we wanted and was able to augment our own strong vision. The project manager spent a generous amount of time with us (telephone, email and meetings) even before we had decided on PBM.
Throughout the project PBM impressed with excellent ideas, quick solutions and design recommendations that were sympathetic to the space. All builders and contractors were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and well managed. The building site was always kept safe and clean and PBM dealt with a strict management company of our building and ensured that all workers were briefed and adhered to rules ranging from building security and Covid safety to working hour restrictions.
All work was completed to a very high standard. We had walls reconfigured, a bathroom replaced, underfloor heating installed, electrics re-wired and bespoke carpentry throughout. The latter was particularly remarkable as it maximises the nooks and crannies that were uncovered during the works and we are now enjoying its precision and style. The overall result is a contemporary, functional and well-proportioned space that impresses by detailed solutions, yet lets the structure and core of the industrial building speak for itself.

Jay and his team were very responsive and pleasant to deal with. They were very clean and tidy and did a good job coordinating all the various trades (electrics, plumbing, and building).

Prestige converted our loft and we’re delighted with the result. From beginning to end we have been delighted by the service provided by Jay and the team who have worked tirelessly to complete the job. The quality of the workmanship is high, and the finish is excellent. We had the same group of workmen throughout the project which I personally found reassuring, and they were very respectful of our home throughout. Prestige wasn’t the cheapest quote we had, but were pleased we spent the extra on this build.

After speaking to a number of different builders about getting the side return kitchen opened up and remodelled we decided to move ahead with Prestige. We chose Prestige as we felt that we could trust them to deliver to us our dream kitchen and that they would help and guide us through the entire process.

The build was managed brilliantly on a day-to-day basis by the team and we were regularly kept up to date with progress and next steps. Any issues were highlighted swiftly and options ( along with any recommendations) presented which allowed us to feel as in control as possible. The team were incredibly professional and tidy, which we appreciated enormously as we were living on site throughout the build (which was unfortunately hampered by COVID-19). The final kitchen is exactly what we had dreamed of.

We were so impressed by the quality of work we decided to expand the scope and get the team to fit out a toilet and shower room half way through the build. Again, the team were flexible and accommodating to the additional works and delivered a high quality finish which we are very happy with.

We’ve also subsequently asked Prestige to do a few other smaller jobs around the house which again we have been completed to a high quality and will be keeping Prestige in mind for further work.

Prestige are not the cheapest you will find, and nor would I expect or want them to be. However, If you are wanting a company to complete the works to a high standard, provide you with peace of mind throughout the entire process and do so with a friendly professional team that takes pride in their work, then Prestige is the right choice for you.

PB have just completely renovated my kitchen and updated my heating system. Throughout the build the contractors provided by project manager (Jay) were professional, polite and conscientious. All work has been completed to a good standard. I would recommend this company.

We engaged Jay and his team to complete a ground floor extension to our property, creating a new bigger kitchen and utility space, downstairs WC and bike storage area. In order to do this the team also had to demolish part of an existing extension, which had been poorly constructed. The project had a number of unforeseen challenges including: issues with the accuracy of architectural drawings (produced by another agency); the discovery of a Class II sewer, requiring a build-over agreement; and the unearthing of large quantities of concrete in unusual places, which hampered the excavation process. Prestige worked positively with us to address all of these challenges. We have been particularly impressed with:

- The quality of the workmanship, which was extremely high.
- The support that Prestige provided to ensure that we were able to continue to live in the property during the building process; this included planning the work in a way that enabled us to retain a temporary kitchen for as long as we needed it.
- A fast and supportive response from Jay whenever a significant problem arose.
- Two great site managers in Kris and Sylvester.

We were also impressed with the very high levels of professionalism displayed by almost all the individuals on-site. Jay was very responsive to any concerns that we raised and it is clear that he has high expectations of how he expects his teams to conduct themselves, and will take action to ensure any minor issues are addressed.

Overall, we are extremely happy with the finished product, and would not hesitate to recommend Prestige Build to others.

Prestige Build and Management have recently finished a full renovation and extension project on my ground floor garden flat. It was a pleasure working with Jay and his always friendly and respectful team. Aside from being an excellent problem solver, Jay also has a great eye for design and diplomatically suggested changes to my layout ideas, particularly in the bathroom, that turned out not only to look great, but also create a much more functional space.
The build was challenging but despite this, the programme overran only slightly as his team worked to catch up and Jay has been quick to deal with snagging, making a great finish even better. They are a really great find in the market and it took a lot of the stress away being able to trust the company to deliver the project. I am very happy with the outcome of the build, my flat really looks great and is wonderful space to live in. I have already recommended PBM to friends.

Choosing Prestige Build to manage our loft extension was the best decision we could have made. The build itself was pain free, the builders respectful and friendly as well as being highly skilled. The end result is a massive lift extension which maximises every square inch of our space. While neighbours with similar houses have one room and en-suite we have massive main room that can be divided into a living space and double bedroom, a small bathroom, complete with bath and a separate small double bedroom/office. Not only this the finishing details are exquisite - if you truly want a bespoke extension Prestige Build will deliver.

We contracted Prestige to do a structural conversion of our victorian terraced house, including removing two walls and a fireplace, rewiring the entire house, installing underfloor heating and replacing the roof.

Overall, we are really pleased with the result. Jay and the team were able to work with various changes to scope and timelines, and the work was completed to a high quality. Site meetings were efficient and useful, and we were particularly impressed with the speed of progress once things were agreed upon. In addition, they were able to clear up all outstanding items efficiently (and before the coronavirus lockdown began), which proved to be especially helpful.

Prestige are definitely a pricier option, but considering the importance of the build to us we ultimately felt this was reflected in the professionalism and quality of the end result!

Very much enjoyed working with the Prestige Build team. They came on recommendation and didn’t disappoint in terms of professionalism and work quality. Many of the proactive suggestions they made we adopted throughout the build. We are pleased and proud of the final result!

We used Prestige Build and Management for a loft and kitchen side-return extension. We chose them because they had a good local reputation; the quality of the work on their other projects; and because we liked the way that the quote was broken down to the last plug socket, which meant we could budget and limit spurious price increases.

In the end, we did end up spending more that we originally agreed, but this was mostly due to us opting to upgrade windows etc; some was down to unexpected extra work on structural things once the build revealed the state of existing foundations and walls. Anything different or extra was always discussed and agreed with us before any work took place.

We had a few issues which meant the project took longer than it had been due to, but Prestige dealt with this fairly and professionally. The guys were always friendly, considerate and hardworking, which makes a big difference when they're in your space for a long time. For such a big project, I wanted to be confident that we were engaging professional and competent tradesmen and I have been very happy with the quality of the work and the finish.

I also wanted the reassurance that should anything go wrong (as things do) that they were going to deal with it promptly and properly. We recently had an issue with the roof and within a very short time of me letting Jay know, one of the guys came round and the whole thing was fixed less than a week later. This is exactly the sort of service you want when it comes to your home!

I think Prestige quotes will likely come in more expensive than others, but (1) the quote is likely to be more comprehensive upfront that others' ballpark numbers and (2) having seen what friends have gone through with cowboys and comparing it to our experience, I think you do get what you pay for.

We used Prestige Build, after reading many positive reviews, for a ground floor complete refurbishment. From the first meeting, Jay was very helpful in providing design ideas and practical information to assist us to achieve what we wanted, more or less within budget. Jay and his team were professional, tidy, mindful and courteous; this was particularly valued when we were living on site throughout. The end result has achieved our aims and objectives to a high standard. Overall we are very pleased and would happily recommend Jay and his team.

Prestige completed a new build for us. They finished the work to an incredibly high standard and at a very reasonable price. They took on tasks and finishes they hadn’t undertaken before, and persevered to get all of the intricate architectural detail right. They also came and repaired defects after the warranty period. They committed to deliver a very high standard on our project and they followed through.

A local friend recommended Prestige Build to us.They showed me the work that had been had done on their house and I was really impressed! We had several quotes as funding was an issue, but Prestige seemed very reasonable and prepared to have detailed discussions about how to achieve what we wanted within our budget. I wanted a very simple loft conversion to use as an art studio; basically opening up the whole loft with no walls, just a dormer to give me some head height. But Jay spent a lot of time talking me through different design options. He suggested extending the dormer, having windows right across the back and putting in a shower and toilet. We went ahead with his ideas and he was absolutely right. The views across London from the windows are fantastic and the shower room has been a boon when friends have stayed up there. The builders were great. Tidy, quiet and friendly and their work was always of a high standard. They were considerate and had almost no impact on our use of the house while the work was going on. I love the results and enjoy being in the space!
I valued the involvement and experience of Jay and would highly recommend Prestige Build.

We chose Prestige Build to complete our side return from about 3 or 4 tenders. Before we had committed to go forward with Prestige, Jay had already shown us a few of his projects in the local areas to show us both the the quality of the work and also a few of the additional design ideas that the client had not considered. He also introduced us the build team site manager. After this, we committed and this is where it went wrong for us but Prestige responded well and stepped up as we hoped they would. The house had been underpinned and we had to remove all the reinforced concrete before we could properly start. We then found the Thames water pipe in the wrong garden ( i.e. Our one and not the neighbours according to the TW plans). This nullified our original plans and now the engineer had to change our original structural designs. The foundations were dug to 2m and instead of a complicated cantilever, the build team suggested a box frame which would do the same thing, in a faster and more cost effective manner. Problems solved for now! Narrow corridors and big heavy RSJ problems were swept aside in an easy way. They made sure they held our hand through out the process, helping calm our nerves and make decisions (Such as picking plug sockets and light in advance rather than being surprised at the end). They kept us informed on time and costs. Our Kitchen was supplied by an outside supplier and they made sure that each measurement was exact to their requirements and so when the kitchen was delivered the fitter could fit it exactly. The bifold door supplier had issues so Jay found an alternate supper and drove outside of London to check the quality. Jay is prepared to counter the clients original wants as we have only done this once where he has more experience. We visited two floor specialists to discuss inside and outside paving. My Wife wanted a rubber floor to protect the baby when they were playing and fair play to Jay he said he wouldn't fit it. He then calmly explained about what do you in a play ground? My wife changed her mind and I now have a stone floor that still looks great years later. The thing I love is that the inside and outside tiles are exactly in alignment making the space look larger. The attention to detail is the thing that changes a good build into a great build. We,as clients, don't see the concrete, the bricks, the pipes - the hidden work. We see the last 10%-15% that is visible and that is where Jay and his team made sure that it looks great. I would highly recommend them.

We were lucky enough to pick Prestige Build for the loft conversion of our Victorian terraced SE London home. A loft conversion was the initial idea, but once we could see the quality of the work that was being done we were happy to throw much more work their way. The ceiling was raised and the chimney breast removed in our pokey back room, completely transforming it. Two new bright rooms have appeared at the top of the house (with an excellent shower in the loft en suite thanks to them upgrading the external water supply connection and pipe). The house has been rewired so I now have ample plug sockets and network ports in all rooms. And the whole house was painted inside and out. What I've really appreciated since is how seamlessly the loft has been integrated with the rest of the house. For example, a lot of care was taken with the bannisters to ensure the same design snakes from the bottom to the top. For me, the house looks and feels as though this is the way it has always been.
