I guess it’s all a matter of taste

My search for a strong coffee tasting coffee continues. I have tried numerous and thought I’d splash out on Presto Intenso from Waitrose. Lovely packaging and I always love the smell when coffee is first opened however with this nothing, so I made a cup hmmm odd mild aroma and I suppose it could be called coffee but not as mere mortals expect. I’m no connoisseur so maybe coffee experts would rave about complex flavours in there but it ain’t for me nor I suspect many others.

Very Poor delivery and customer services

Order for a gift for my brother's birthday. Order remains 'unfulfilled' nearly 2 weeks later. I've email their customer services to see what the delay is, but no reply. Totally disappointed - would not recommend :(

Avoid! SCAM

I placed this order on the 11th November. It is ridiculous that it has not arrived yet - 3 weeks later. This is very bad customer service. I have sent many many emails and attempts to contact but they are not replying. They are just stealing money - AVOID

Presto Intenso....The Best

I have a Jura Bean2Cup Espresso Coffee Machine, and over its 16 years of use I have tried many, many different beans, brands, and strengths. These Presto Espresso Intenso beans are simply the best. My wife likes mild strength (machine setting), my son likes normal or strong, and I like strong, and across all those different tastes everyone agrees that these beans are the best so far. I can't say more than that.

Revolting

Revolting. Took me back to being a builder and getting given pi$$ weak own brand brown water with that distinctive cheap coffee taste. Don't be fooled by the expensive looking tub it's rank. Free Palestine.

No delivery

They had a promotion on 10th Sept for World Suicide Prevention Day which for a small fee to cover postage they would send a free small bag of coffee.

Today is 27th Sept and still no sight of this coffee. I have made attempts to contact them, through the online chat and email, but no-one gets back.

Considering this was to mark such a day, it is disgusting they still not sent anything, if they are having production issues then a polite email would have been good.

They never put down the roasting date, so no-one ever knows how fresh the beans are.

Incompetent company and for sure I wont be using them again and I urge others not to as well. Much better roasters out there.

I ordered a sample pack the 17th August…

I ordered a sample pack the 17th August which I never received. I wrote to Presto Coffee Support when I received an email asking me what I thought about their coffee.I got no reply. The sample pack cost less than £2.00 but that is not the point. I got a feedback form from them a few days later and gave them one star. This did not evoke any response. Is it smugness or incompetence or something else?

Used this company for 3 years

Used this company for 3 years, then suddenly my usual Italian smooth coffee bags were not available. Instead they used my bank details to continue with a subscription of espresso coffee bags at a higher price without my authorisation. No contact phone number only email correspondence for this company which failed to bring any result. I had to cancel my bank card to prevent the continuation of a subscription I no longer want, such a huge inconvenience. The new coffee btw, tasted burnt, dreadful stuff.

By far the best coffee beans I have…

By far the best coffee beans I have tried to date (9 years worth of coffee bean tasting/hunting).

The velvet latte option is absolutely fantastic. I even make cappuccinos with this beans. They also have a house beans which makes perfect cappuccinos.

Their customer service skills by far out does any other coffee bean subscription services I have tried... Trust me I have tried many.

Definitely a happy customer and will definitely continue my services with you guys.

P. S - would be nice is you done 2 and 3 kg bags also rather than just 1kg, would save me having to keep changing my delivery service to earlier as we tend to have more than the normal person would.

Thanks again for your brilliant services, especially to Charlotte who has been fantastic. Couldn't be happier :)

Over a week for delivery…

Over a week for delivery… haven’t tried the beans but the long delivery was enough for me to write a review. An online service like this, you would expect extremely fast shipping (which they claim to have on the site). First time and last time. Can’t be waiting a week for coffee the arrive. Might as well order some stuff from Europe…

beans were the worst ive ever tried

beans were the worst ive ever tried, had three bags of house expresso all went in the bin after a day then had to get a refund as they took money out of my account when i told them to stop, never ever give them your bank or card details, cannot believe the service is bad, they subscribe you without asking and the coffee tastes like dogsh!t why would you ever buy from these

Silky lattes

I was so pleased and impressed by the quality of these beans. I'm a Latte person, so obviously went for the "Velvet Latte" option. It feels like such a treat to make an Oat Latte with these beans, the slight nutty flavour pops up even more with the nut milk. For sure will make a beautiful mocha.
