I have exhausted all areas trying to load it on with zero success whatsoever and as everyone knows you can’t even speak to someone on their telephone support so I thought PREZZEE would have my back but oh no instead of supporting me as their regular and loyal customer they’re quite ok back and forthing with me instead of helping me out!!!!

I bought a $75 Prezzee card for Doordash. Doordash cancelled one of my orders over the phone at my request - the rep told me at the time that I'd get a refund. (For context, the order was for prepackaged sushi and coke, so the restaurant wasn't going to lose any money from the cancellation. And the reason for the cancellation was to correct the sizes of coke bottle. The store told me cancellation and rebooking was the only option for that).
Later that day Doordash did a '180' and told me that I wouldn't get a refund after all. They refused to say why, except that all refunds are at their discretion.
NZ consumer law says that a restaurant doesn't have to provide a refund for a cancelled order if its incurred costs or suffered some sort of loss. But here there is no loss to the restaurant and Doordash had told me I would be refunded. What's happened is a breach of consumer law, including because it was false and misleading conduct in trade.
I phoned Prezzee to try to get help. Prezzee refused to help. The rep said that as soon as part of a Prezzee card has been used they refuse any support, regardless of the circumstances. Even if a seller is breaking the law Prezzee will do nothing to help. Knowing what Doordash is doing they are just going to keep on enabling legal breaches and pocketing their cut.
Laughably, Prezzee also keeps suggesting I got what I paid you for simply because my card was 'redeemed'. I did not pay $75 just to have a card redeemed in the internet ether. I paid to receive goods and services in real life.
Prezzee is so disingenuous. Its like being Alice in Wonderland trying to deal with this company.

Shout out to Rita and Sherly from Prezzee. I had purchased a Prezzee card through AfterPay with the intention of using it at a marketed supplier, however due to the restrictions of AfterPay, it couldn't be used there specifically. I spoke with a staff member of Prezzee and they helped me look into a refund as I was unhappy about the un mentioned restriction that I was only advised about after the purchase. They made sure the card was cancelled and and that I would be refunded by AfterPay. Only 5 mins after talking with them I received confirmation from AfterPay that the refund was successful. I am very grateful for this as it would have been $500.00 down the drain otherwise.

Once we finally resolved the link of the text to the site it was smooth sailing. Recommend doing it on a bigger interface eg PC or laptop vs small phone. Loved how I could use my code in store. Did my browsing online but went into Wallace & Cotton our local store so they got the money and helped me at the same time. A win win.
