Superficial expensive unnecessary check
They superficially performed an expensive check on a 2008 CV Ketel, offering no other option than something that cost 500 euros with no possibility of a sensible outcome.
They assured an inexperienced and naive client that usually this would work. I signed the worksheet based on this “advice”.
It obviously didn’t work.
The ethical action would have been to say this could never work, charge the call-out fee, and leave the client to decide what to do next.
They are more experienced than clients and should have behaved more ethically.
I do not recommend this company.
The only reason for not giving one star was that they spent 45 minutes looking at and cleaning the CV kettle.
