I don't think it's worth it

I don't think it's worth it. I already shop on Amazon for most purchases and Prime Video seems like an afterthought. Having to buy or rent movies after buying $200 of goods each month is an insult.

Abysmal

Abysmal. Prime Video used to have such a great selection of stuff. Now, most of my old favourites are locked behind endless additional subscriptions or missing entirely. Want to watch Stargate, that'll be an extra £5.99 a month for an MGM sub please. How about some Mr Robot? Whoops nowhere to be found. Or how about something new like Landman? £7.99 a month for a Paramount Plus sub please. In fact let's just cut to the chase and cut a blank cheque for Amazon now? No wonder so many people sail the high seas nowadays.

Border line legal and definitely corrupt. Never Buy!

Every time I try to find anything I may even slightly enjoy or want to relive…. Amazon wants money.

The last several dozen attempts to find anything worth watching have come empty.

The best though is actually buying a film only to find out later that for some BS explanation, I no longer own what I BOUGHT WITH MY MONEY…. Totally corrupt imo.

Unbelievable!

Unbelievable!
Check your Amazon subscriptions! They like to auto subscribe expensive streaming channels.
This happened to me FIVE times! FIVE!
Twice with HBO Max and three times with some UP Faith channel.
I am removing Prime Video from my home screen now and forever.

Missing English subtitles on content that's originally in English

The selection of movies and content included with the Prime membership is quite good. However, where there should be an improvement is subtitles. I got a subscription on my Prime Video for HBO Max and for AMC+ and the subtitles for most of the series are only available in the local language (Spanish). I mean if a TV series is originally in English how hard it is to also just load the English subtitles in addition to the local ones. It is such a simple thing but it makes content unwatchable for those non-native English speakers that want English subtitles. Please fix it and provide by default English subtitles for all the English content and anywhere else they are available, in the end it is the global lingua franca. It is such a simple fix, I hope Amazon Prime Video team does something about it.

Unfortunately I ended up canceling both subscriptions AMC+ and HBO Max on primevideo as I can't understand all of the conversations in some movies and TV series without the English subtitles (WWDITS, Halt and Catch Fire, etc.).

Ads are getting ridiculous

Prime was fine for years, then they decided to add ads for programs they had on prime, fine. They recently started added 2 minute long ads, then it became more ads. I got 3 2 minute ads in a 45 minute episode. This is absolutely ridiculous. We already pay for prime video and now we have to pay extra for ads? Absolutely ridiculous.

So many ads

So many ads. This is what our world has come too. Friggin joke. Canceling. It’s like getting an economy seat on a damn plane. Poor people will always suffer at the expense of the rich. Screw you and your greed!

Amazon stole my credit card information…

Amazon stole my credit card information while I was voluntarily paying for Canadian prime, and they have been doublecharging me for American prime as well since Oct 2022. I am out 3 years worth of monthly amazon Prime payments, which equal $792 of money THAT THEY STOLE FROM ME. I had to cancel my credit card. Noone can tell me why I was being charged. I had to spend over 6 hours both in the phone and online chat customer service. Online chat customer service dropped me 5 times, and transferred me to a supervisor once. I HAD TO DEAL WITH 6 PEOPLE, PLUS 2 ON THE PHONE TO ONLY RECIEVE 6 MONTHS OF REFUND.

I'm forking furious. Amazon will steal your credit card information, and then lie and cheat to take your money.

Fork amazon Prime.

Offering lesser product during subscription period

Offering used to be good for the money it costs. Howevder, amazon decided to one-sided change the agreement and provide less for the same money, within the paid-ahead subscription period. Effectively by adding ads to the streams or demanding you pay more.
Support is not willing to provide a solution - that's the kind of company / product you're dealing with. Who knows what they'll change next.

Amazon does not deliver when they say…

Amazon does not deliver when they say they will, twice they have said packages that were out for deliver and on both occasions they did not deliver. Their customer service is non existent, there is no way to contact anyone. Don't waste money on a prime membership.

Amazon Prime subscriber

You think you are a prime subscriber, and you'll enjoy ads free videos. No, they treat you like an economy class traveler.
2-3 mins of ads after every 30 mins or so. It's so annoying. Would never recommend to anyone

Forcing non-skippable ads on a paid subscription

Amazon Prime are now forcing non-skippable ads on a paid subscription. Why are they trying to squeeze out even more money from their paying subscribers, by forcing these ads, with the 'option' of paying more to remove them.

So before, I paid X amount of dollars per month. I'm paying the same but get an inferior service (who likes ads?) and now have to pay more in order to have the same service that I had before.

I'll be cancelling my subscription once I get through the last series I'm watching.

DISCUSTING!!!

Suddenly they started showing promos

They began displaying terrible promos at the start of films/shows without any prior notice or warning, when before shows and films were completely ad-free, at least in my region. 0 stars. Not one star.

And promos are disabled in the Communications settings. Figures.

I already cancelled the prime sub. If amazon is another of those corpos spitting on their customers, good riddance.
