I don't trust Frank

First contacted this company in June 2023. They gave me a quote of $350. Then on the shipping day Frank said it was going to cost me $900. I told him I was going to go with a different company. Now 7 months later Frank is still texting me saying "he has room on a truck if I'm still interested in shipping my car". Each time I reply "please stop texting me. I've already shipped my car months ago.
I don't trust Frank and will not recommend his company.

Good vehicle transportation companies are hard to find

If you are looking for a transportation company that will contact you constantly (harass you), provide a layaway plan (can’t find a driver for contracted price so your vehicle doesn’t move), need to make a donation (they charge cross border fees that they don’t tell you about) than Profexo Inc is for you.
Here is my experience with Profexo Inc
Signed contract with Profexo and paid them $130 deposit to transport the vehicle my husband purchased from a different state.

This brokerage company posted an ad on the drivers board offering to pay the driver over $500 more than the delivery price listed on our contract. Not sure who they expected to pay they difference.

A week after the contract date Profexo called saying they can’t find a driver but if we pay more money they should be able to find one. We said no. Days and weeks passed and every communication they were trying to get more money. We kept requesting through phone calls, text messages and emails that they honor the contact and provide delivery for the price on the contact.
They said that they finally had a driver.

The day the vehicle was supposed to be picked up we received a call saying the delivery truck broke down on the way to pick up the vehicle. By now 3 weeks had passed.

I would have believed the “broke down” truck story if it wasn’t for the number of calls asking for more money to find a driver.

I emailed Profexo with a copy of the contract cancelling the contract due to their failure to provide transportation of the vehicle and requested a refund of the deposit money via check within 10 days.

The electronic account that the deposit was paid from we had closed because a cross border fee was charged as a separate transaction after the deposit money was withdrawn. No where on the contract, emails, text messages, or phone calls were we told that there was going to be an additional cross border fee. Profexo’s contract says they are located in Dearborn, MI, the vehicle is in the United States and being delivered to another state within the United States. Why is there a cross border fee?

Over the next 3 weeks my husband contacted them every 3-5 days asking for the deposits money refund.

Things turned ugly. My husband and I were both receiving harassing phone calls on our cell phones continuously throughout the day and night. Hard to work when Profexo kept calling. They wanted our bank account numbers, saying that was the only way to return the deposit money.
They even asked to if they could get a friend’s or family member’s bank account numbers.
Would you give your bank account numbers to someone that took extra money from your account that they did not notify you of ahead of time? Neither would we.

After weeks of harassment they issued an electronic refund for the deposit money to the same account numbers that paid the deposit. We work with our bank to receive the refund. We also had to pay another cross border fee.

Did we get the service we contracted for? NO
Did we lose money trying to deal with Profexo Inc? YES, the cross border fees
Were we harassed to the point that it affected our jobs? YES, most definitely
Would we recommend Profexo? Only to our worst enemy

Bait and Switch SCAM BROKER

Gave me a quote for enclosed trailer. After ghosting me I finally get a hold of his Co-worker saying Michael was off that day. Then proceeded to tell me they could pick up the vehicle next day on an OPEN TRAILER and I owe the driver 1,100.00 that's 1,240.00 from the 730.00 quoted. I asked for my deposit back and all he did was want to argue. Turning them in for ecommerce fraud the BBB and any other avenue to get my money back.

This is a shady broker....

SCAM BUSINESS DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Locked keys

I had a car shipped from UT to NY but the keys was locked in the car, so the 1st driver canceled the order because of accountability reasons.. but they was able to find a driver that could retrieve the keys and still ship the car with no problem

Moved a Camper Van and Motorcycle across the country!

I needed a camper van and motorcycle moved from Oregon to Ohio, in the winter, in an ice storm and subzero temperatures. Andrew and his Team made the process run as smoothly as possible. He arranged for the Driver to pickup the vehicles and handled all the paperwork, insurance, etc. Everything was done professionally and electronically, which was important to me for record keeping. Andrew’s Driver was professional, courteous and polite. Andrew made sure we were in constant communications as the unprecedented weather and ice storm caused unforeseen and unavoidable delays. Would definitely recommend using Andrew if you need vehicles transported.

AVOID AT ALL COST

Do not use this broker. STAY CLEAR. Bait and switch! They will give you one rate and than request for a higher rate afterwards! Very unprofessional! Do not fall for their low quotes as all they care about is their deposit. Good luck getting it back.
