I deposited money to use PropellerAds…

I deposited money to use PropellerAds advertising services, but my account was suspended shortly after the payment and I could not use the service at all.

I was later informed that KYC verification is required, however this was not clearly stated before the payment. Until the issue was raised, my balance remained unusable and no advertising service was delivered.

Support responses were slow and the process caused unnecessary delays and frustration. Overall, the experience was not transparent and did not meet expectations for a professional advertising platform.

I would not recommend depositing funds before fully understanding the risks and account restrictions.

Worst Ad Network. Funds Stolen!

PropellerAds suspended my advertiser account without a clear explanation and then refused to provide details when I asked. Their so-called “Policy team” hides behind generic messages like “decisions are not to be discussed.” That’s not how a legitimate business treats paying clients.

I deposited funds in good faith, yet they blocked my account and refused to refund the balance. Instead of transparency, they delivered arrogance and zero accountability. It feels less like an ad network and more like a money trap.

If you value professionalism, support, and fair treatment, stay away. There are many other networks that actually respect their advertisers — PropellerAds is not one of them. THE BOTTOM LINE STAY AWAY!!!

$5k ad spend, still horrible support

I experienced an abnormal increase in ad spend on one of my campaigns and the statistics were really sus within a very short timeframe, compared to my past performance during the month. I wrote to the support and thought they'd help me in solving the issue, and preferably refunding the small amount of ad spend (it was $12). I didn't get any help but had to collect more information to submit a report.

I had spent $5k in total on various campaigns, got a Media Buyer Certificate, and I never had to contact their support in the past, so I think I had a decent understanding of the platform.

It's funny, they think I'd waste my time gathering more info when it was apparent spam traffic, their support agent could've had a quick look at it and refunded me $12.

I won't use PropellerAds again, due to both their lack of support, but also due to performance of their traffic, which is generally low quality if you consider real conversions and long-term paying customers.

Best DSP probably, seriously

You gonna know how to communicate and tell about your own product attributes, I think there's a lot of dumbfk who just throw the job to others and if they don't work then just blame the platform, because it happens in my own company as well, I myself was looking at the ads and optimize with the manager, the results were great, I'm not gonna mention who's the manager as I don't hope people to be picky about the people who serves you, but J is my bro, he's the best.

This platform operates under shady…

This platform operates under shady practices and aggressively seeks highly sensitive personal data — including your ID and even cards linked to PayPal — just to let you fund your account. That's the kind of private info banks require to open an account, yet these people offer zero transparency about how it's used or stored. Why would anyone hand over such data to a faceless foreign company with no assurance or accountability?

Back in April 2023, I raised this issue directly with their team. Was it addressed? Absolutely not. There was no apology, no clarification, no basic customer care. It was simply brushed off. They talk about KYC like it's some legal requirement — but strangely, big, credible companies like Microsoft don’t ask for this. Why is it only this platform? It reeks of a data-harvesting scheme disguised as compliance.

Worse still, they give you no details on how your sensitive data will be protected. What if some random employee decides to misuse it? What recourse would I have? None. They demand full trust while offering none in return. If this were truly a transparent company, they’d be willing to share who exactly is handling your private information. But no — you’re left in the dark, blindly trusting a system with a track record of poor communication and zero accountability.

The irony? They’re totally fine accepting credit cards, despite the massive chargeback risks associated with them. But for PayPal — the more secure method — they want every document short of your birth certificate. Why? Because they either don’t know what they’re doing, or worse, they know exactly what they’re doing.

I initially thought this was just bad customer service. Now, I see it's something deeper: an unsafe, unserious platform with no respect for user privacy. I regret ever signing up. Proceed only if you’re comfortable handing over your personal identity to a company that refuses to explain how it protects it.

I do not recommend this service. There are far more professional and secure alternatives out there. Be warned.

WARNING

WARNING: DO NOT TRUST PROPELLERADS.
This company is a complete fraud. They should be shut down immediately. My experience was so terrible that I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I’m speaking out because no one else should go through what I did—and I will not stop exposing their scam tactics until people know exactly who they’re dealing with.

I deposited $200 into PropellerAds to run a campaign for a legitimate supplement product. It was approved, ran briefly, spent $4.298, and then got suspended under the false claim that it “violated policy” by promoting a drug—a total lie. This same supplement is sold openly on Amazon. So why approve the campaign at all, only to shut it down after spending money? That’s calculated fraud, not a mistake.

Even worse, I proved other advertisers were running the exact same product using the same landing pages and setup—I sent screenshots, videos, and undeniable proof. They ignored it entirely.

They also lied directly to me. When I asked for a refund, I was told:

"The account should be restored after the refund process is over."

But once I accepted a partial refund via PayPal, they suddenly told me:

"We can't work with you. The Policy department’s decision is final and cannot be discussed."

They went back on their word, without reason, without discussion, and without any real explanation. I have screenshots of every single lie they told.

At first, they tried to offer me a pitiful $190.90 refund. Only after I filed a claim through PayPal did they refund $195.19—because they couldn’t lie to PayPal the way they lie to their customers.

Their support team? Completely useless. Slow to respond, unprofessional, and showed zero accountability. They let me spend money, then shut everything down with no warning, no proper review, and no honesty.

PropellerAds is not a real advertising company—it is a scam operation hiding behind fake policy enforcement and dishonest customer service. They are thieves with a dashboard.

I will not stay silent. I will keep reporting, exposing, and warning others about them on every platform I can—review sites, forums, social media, and beyond. They don’t deserve your money, your trust, or your business. They’ve already ruined their reputation, and at this rate, it’s only a matter of time before they’re out of business completely.

Stay away from PropellerAds. You’ve been warned.

I paid PropellerAds $100 (via Visa) to run a campaign. Right after payment, my account was suspended — no ads were delivered, no traffic, no impressions. Their support refused to refund me and said I violated “policy,” but they delivered nothing at all.

Now they’ve blocked my account and chat. I filed a Visa chargeback since this clearly falls under “service not rendered.” Beware: this platform may take your money and hide behind fake excuses. Still waiting for justice.

PropellerAds is a Scam

I had a terrible experience with PropellerAds. I deposited $150 to run a website traffic campaign, and shortly after, my account was suspended without any valid reason. I never had multiple accounts, never violated their policies, They refused to reactivate my account.

Their support is completely unhelpful—they send generic responses without properly reviewing the issue. I strongly advise stay away from PropellerAds.

Dishonest, Unethical, Full of Liars, and Scammers – Worst Experience Ever!

PropellerAds doesn’t even deserve one star. They are the worst company I’ve ever dealt with—full of scammers and liars.

I joined their platform to run a campaign for a legitimate supplement product. I made a $200 deposit, and the campaign spent $4.298 before they suspended it, claiming the product was not allowed. This is absurd because the product is clearly a supplement, not a drug as they falsely claimed. It’s sold on Amazon without any issues. If it truly violated their policies, why approve it in the first place? Their actions wasted my money and countless hours spent building this campaign.

What’s worse, I have proof that other advertisers successfully promoted the same product on their platform, using the exact same landing pages and setup as mine. I provided screenshots and even had video evidence, yet they ignored it completely.

They also lied to me. When I requested a refund, they assured me:
"The account should be restored after the refund process is over."

But once I accepted a partial claim through PayPal, they suddenly changed their tune and told me:
"Unfortunately, the Policy team decided that we can't work with you. Kindly note that the decisions of the Policy department are final and cannot be discussed."

I have screenshots of their lies and can share them with anyone who needs proof.

Initially, they offered a pathetic refund of $190.90, but after I made a claim on PayPal, they refunded me $195.19—clearly because they couldn’t lie or scam PayPal the way they tried to scam me.

Their support team was unhelpful, dismissive, and slow throughout the process, showing no care or accountability.

They allowed my campaign to run and spend before deciding it violated their policies. If there was an issue, they should have flagged it before any money was spent. Their incompetence and lack of transparency are unacceptable.

PropellerAds isn’t a company—it’s a scam operation run by liars. Their policies are inconsistent, their practices are unethical, and their customer support is useless.

Save your time, money, and sanity. Stay far away from PropellerAds. If they continue this way, they will inevitably close soon because their reputation is already in ruins. I will expose their scam and lying behavior everywhere I can.

Hello Bash,

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re truly sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with your experience.

To clarify, our moderation team reviews campaigns both before and after their launch to ensure compliance with our policies. This two-step process is necessary because certain issues can only become apparent after a campaign starts running. While we understand how frustrating this situation must have been for you, our policy clearly states that campaigns must align with our terms at all times.

Regarding the initial amount spent on your campaign, as traffic was delivered before the campaign was paused, we are unable to refund this amount. The remaining balance, however, was refunded to you in full.
On the matter of other advertisers promoting similar products, please note that our policies apply to all campaigns. Any differences in outcomes could result from variations in the information provided during moderation or other contextual factors. We strive to apply our rules consistently to maintain a fair environment for all our clients.

Finally, we regret if our communication caused any confusion. The decision to discontinue working together was made by our Policy team after careful consideration, as maintaining compliance and a trustworthy platform is a top priority for us.

PropellerAds has been serving advertisers and affiliates since 2011, partnering with hundreds of thousands of businesses globally. We value transparency and fairness in all our operations and continuously work to improve our processes.

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. If you have any additional questions or need further clarification, please feel free to reach out.
