Excellent product I haven’t bought any other peanut butter since I bought my first Proper Nutty jar, consistency is flawless

Best peanut butter since it used to be made on site in Covent Garden. Come in a tin which I decant into smaller jars. No additives just peanuts. Quick service and delivery.

This is the best peanut butter. I was very disappointed when they stopped selling it in my local supermarket ( I am in the south) but delivery is so excellent and very quick so it’s been fine. I prefer to buy 6 jars rather than a tin as I don’t get through a huge amount and sometimes find it’s got a little dry by the time I get to the end but you seem to have sold out of all the jars when I last ordered.
I love the slightly salted but have found unsalted excellent too.

How do you comment about peanut butter? I suppose my best recommendation for this exhuberant company and their delicious peanut butter is that I keep buying it. Judging by the number of empty tins I have lying around (they may come in handy one day!), I definitely enjoy their product.

This use to be the best peanut butter ever. I regularly bought the 1kg tin and recommended it to others. It was a 5 star brand. Today I noticed a colour change to the tin but had assumed the product was the same. Unfortunately not. The taste, texture and colour is disgusting. A Sloppy mess. Sadly I will not buy again. If this product has been bought out they have ruined it! Very sad.

Top notch peanut butter, delivered with care.

Latest batch is runnier, lighter in colour and smoother than normal - not what I'd call "smunchy". Now has a sticker saying "single origin hi oleic peanuts". I'd suggest you find origins of less oily peanuts and stop messing with a successful product. Suspect this is 100% to do with a recent change of directorship and Silver Spoon applying the usual corporate greed to ruin something that grew up as an antidote to the mainstream.

Edit post response: Amazing customer service - "we agree we produced a bad batch, but let's pretend it never happened, eh? Just be happy that you paid a premium for a bulk order of sub-par product". Honest, but very poor, response from a customer perspective.

My order arrived, whilst very promptly, quite damaged. I emailed them, and they sent out a replacement immediately, which was brilliant. However, this batch of smunchy peanut butter is much more runny than usual, and doesn't seem to be as tasty. I've been buying from this company for many years, and plan to continue to do so, but I'm not as pleased with the product and the service as I used to be

Was wonderful - tasty, well roasted, good texture. But, apparently with no notice, the product has changed substantially - less tasty, less well roasted, the texture of smoother and not really ‘smunchy’ any more. Time to switch to a different brand!

I ordered two jars of this wonderful peanut butter and it arrived in good time, well packed. I have bought the peanut butter before but have moved house and haven’t found a local supplier, so online worked well. It is delicious and no added sugar is even better!

My package of the best peanut butter turned up exactly on time and in perfect condition. I’m delighted with the service but even more delighted with the content.

The recipe for the Smunchy peanut butter has changed since our last purchase. The peanut butter is now pale, oily, and doesn’t have the same nicely roasted flavour and crunch. Disappointing!

Moreover, the change wasn’t clearly advertised on their website (picture still showed the old recipe can). Won’t be purchasing again.

Proper Nutty Smunchy is the best tasting peanut butter I've tried and it's 100% nuts - no salt and no palm oil. I ordered online as our nearest stockist is some distance away and my parcel arrived next day!
