very pleased with protec my cover was damaged in high winds I sent it back for a repair but unfortunatly it got lost in transit but protec replaced it for a very good price and looked after me what a great company I would reconmend them to anyone

Ordered a towing cover over the phone, the experience from starting our order to receiving our order was first class, had an email to say our fabric was not in stock, so we emailed back to order another fabric, the cover arrived the next day brilliant service, I would recommend Protec covers to anyone first class company first class service easy to deal with no hassle so thank you a very happy Robin.

Did a lot of research before buying a towing cover for are van. Glad i purchased the Tow Pro cover. Really pleased its so easy to fit and looks great. I would recommend this company with out a doubt. Customer service is first class.

Today I have ordered a new towing jacket, to replace the one that saved me thousands of pounds in repair bills. Last trip out, northbound on the M6, traveling at near 60mph, there was a strip of metal in the carageway, unfortunately as I was running in heavy traffic I could not take avoiding action and the strip of metal was flicked up into the front of the caravan. I heard it hit the van and saw the rip in the towing jacket flapping in the wind. Fearing the worst, I pulled into the next services to assess the damage. Imagine my relief when I saw the cover had done its job and while the cover was ripped and had a flapping hole in it there was no damage to the front of the caravan.
I decided to replace rather than repair the cover, as no matter how carful one is, the repair is always visible. Given the tens of thousands £ the caravan cost me, the cost of repair to the front panel of the van had the cover not been there, the £265 cost of replacement is small beer.
The Pro Tec towing jacket has proven its worth to me, my caravan now does not move without it being fitted.

I purchased a universal Protec towing cover for my caravan in 2014 after my caravan was damaged by debris kicked up from the road. Since that time the cover has served me well and is still going strong. I had to contact Protec recently as I had mislaid a strap. Thankfully Protec still hold stock for this cover and kindly sent me same in the post which I have now received. Great service and great cover.

Bought both the travelling cover and the winter one last year. They are both very easy to put on and very well made. Had a wee issue after I took winter cover off in as much as the sola panel had worn a hole through. Spoke to Peter and they are collecting and fixing. No issues at all. The rest of the van was polished and more importantly no scratches like you get from some other covers. Can’t recommend this company highly enough

An excellent front (towing) cover I bought with the caravan in 2014 – and its still going strong! Very easy to put on and gives brilliant protection from road dirt and stones thrown up by the rear tyres (the windows are around £800 & £1000 plus fitting so any protection is well worthwhile). Protec are a great company to deal with and who also give excellent after sales service!

This is the 3rd Protec Caravan cover I have had over the years for different models of van. The latest I have had for 9 years now. When uncovering this year I found 2 areas that had holes caused by wear over the years.
I contacted Protec covers to ask for a sample of material to enable me to patch the holes. I received this delivered to me within 2 days free of charge. what more can I say except thank you for the excellent service

Ordered a Pro Tec Cover with a anticipated wait of 4/5 week delivery date but received it two weeks later! fantastic result.
Found the knowledge from the customer service second to none.
The quality and fit of the ProTec cover is brilliant compared to another company’s cover (specialised covers) which has deteriorated a lot, cheaper material and awful fit.
I can highly recommend the Pro Tec Cover because excellent customer service, great quality and a super fitting cover.

Ordered a Towing Cover from Protec at the Caravan show. Knowledgeable staff on duty and all communication during the whole process very good. Delayed delivery because we were away and put it on our new Coachman a few days ago. Watched the video online first but really there was no need. Very simple and took just a couple of minutes. Excellent fit. So on the basis of supply and fit I thoroughly recommend this product.

We ordered the cover for our caravan which obviously was not a standard model as we got several requests for different dimensions. The cover arrived and yes it fitted perfectly, phew ! I was a bit worried that I may have got something wrong. The delivery time was longer than expected, this may well have been due to Corona though ?
The cover is very light and super easy to put on the caravan - can not say how much protection it offers and the durability, only time will tell !

I thought I had purchased a quality cover for my new motorhome and was content to pay the extra for it. The problems started from the beginning when I submitted the dimensions that were needed. The job was essentially forgotten about and I had to chase up a number of times; months later my cover arrived.
After one year there were wear patches and I phoned back to be told they could send me some patches which I would have to cut out and fix. I was not too happy with this so it was agreed they would fix them if I sent it back, but I would have to pay for all the transport, even though it was under guarantee. After some discussion they eventually relented. The next year the same thing happened and I had to spend a day mending the further holes where the rubbing had taken place.
Then a couple of months after the three year warranty the cover is completely ripped by a storm. There are huge rips in the main body of the cover and the places where the straps are attached are completely ripped off. I was told it was a write off. I complain and am told that in the event of a storm we should take the cover off! So, it is quite a job putting on a cover, and the advice is to take it off every time there is a storm in order to protect it; that of course leaves the motorhome unprotected which is not really the purpose of the exercise! As my warranty had run out by a couple of months they said I had to buy a new cover. I complained and after a number of calls, which seemed hopeful, I was told I could have a small discount, no where near an acceptable level.
So if you want a cover that needs constant repair and are happy to take it off every time there is bad weather then this company is for you. The customer service was patchy as some employees were very helpful, others really not so.
A complaint is an opportunity for a company to shine, this did not happen here.

Regardless, the overall experience of the cover, storm aside, was not good.

Ordered a cover for grandparents caravan. Arrived quicker than expected, it was however unfortunately the wrong size to what was ordered. The company were easy to contact and swiftly resolved our issue and sent the correct one. Looks good so far!

Ordered towing cover for our caravan that we were going away in 2 weeks later. True to their word it arrived the day before we left, easy to fit and looks great. Great service thanks.

I have only just dealt with this company and found them approachable either by phone where you actually speak to a knowledgable person, or by email.
The towing jacket is of good quality, easy to fit and is made for a specific model of caravan, with road lights aperture in the correct place. You can even have access to the caravan grab handles if required. Really pleased with this cover and it is very good value.

We’ve been using protec for many years and always use it for our first port of call for covers etc sales and after sales is a no quibble and easy experience by staff that do there job well,thanks

Dealt with this firm many times as always used them for covers and towing jackets and always received excellent service before and after purchase and I would always recommend them thank you guys

Bought a new cover at caravan show and a towing cover with show discounts. No money paid until order moved to production and cover arrived within a week. Unfortunately the towing cover was missing so a quick phone call to Protec. Turned out there was a problem with order placed at show and no towing cover was ordered. The problem was because I had been given too much discount for both items but charged and paid for only one item. Peter from Protec phoned me back within 3 hours and apologised for the mix up and agreed to supply the towing cover at the discounted rate even though the order hadn’t gone through. Throughout all of this the staff at Protec were extremely courteous and helpful and handled the situation in a extremely helpful way
