Engaged Profixy when we needed BI expertise for a project. The process was very smooth and exact and onboarding very fast. Our new team member was productive in the first week. Price wise les than half of other near shore alternative. True value for money!

Over the past 10 months, we worked with a developer provided through Proxify for the build of our platform, DoubleBook. Despite continuous assurances of progress, our platform ultimately failed to launch due to severe backend stability issues.
After the missed launch, we brought in an independent senior developer to audit the system. Their conclusion was clear: the backend was not built to industry standards and required a full rebuild.
We attempted to address this directly with Proxify and requested reimbursement for the unusable work. Unfortunately, our request was denied based on a contractual technicality, even though the issues with the code were not discoverable until launch.
I’m sharing this publicly so other founders—especially those building their first technical product—understand how critical it is to deeply validate outsourced developers and the vetting process behind them. I’ve learned some expensive lessons here, and if this helps even one other founder avoid the same situation, it’s worth sharing.
We’re moving forward with a new developer and rebuilding the platform the right way. Entrepreneurs deserve transparency, and I hope this experience encourages better accountability across outsourced development services.
UPDATE: Additional Details After Proxify’s Response
Thank you for your response. I want to clarify a few points because the issue here is the gap between what Proxify’s marketing promises and what customers actually receive.
Proxify’s website states:
“Innovate faster with world-class remote talent. No risk. No limits.”
and
“Only Proxify pairs world-class talent with unmatched transparency on developer performance.”
Combined with statements like:
“Only 2% pass our 6-step vetting process.”
“We guarantee top-tier senior talent.”
“You can trust our talent with business-critical work.”
…it is reasonable for clients to believe Proxify reduces the risks typically associated with outsourcing.
In our case, the developer assigned to our 10-month project did not meet those expectations. Both a second developer hired through Proxify and a third-party senior engineer independently confirmed that the backend was not built to industry standards. Our platform failed to launch and required a complete rebuild.
When we raised concerns shortly before launch, Proxify did not review any code. Instead, we were advised to hire a second developer to “help meet our timeline.” That developer was the first to flag the architectural issues.
After the failed launch, Proxify has met with us, expressed shock, and told us they were no longer affiliated with the original developer. Despite that acknowledgement, no refund has been offered for the unusable work. We have refused payment for the two most recent invoices—which fall inside Proxify’s own 14-day dispute window—and Proxify has treated waiving them as a favor, even though from our perspective they are clearly invalid given the outcome.
I understand that Proxify positions itself as a marketplace that does not oversee day-to-day developer work. However, that structure does not align with the expectations created by their marketing around reduced risk and “world-class” vetted talent.
This experience is now part of our founding story, and we plan to share the lessons we’ve learned as we continue to grow in the tech space. My goal in updating this review is to provide transparency for other founders who may rely on Proxify’s marketing when choosing a development partner.

I have used proxify developers for multiple years through multiple companies and have been very happy with their services. The price point make it possible to use proxify for a long period of time which makes the off shore developers a part of the team and can generate lasting impact!
The flexibility and the time to hire made it easy to scale up and down whenever we needed and get special experience for short term project. Very happy, truly recommend!

My experience with Proxify was excellent.
Being able to efficiently hire a skilled developer whose abilities had already been thoroughly vetted was a major advantage, since we didn’t have the internal expertise to evaluate the relevant programming languages ourselves.
Our account executive was communicative and supportive throughout, from onboarding and interviews to ongoing check-ins during the contract period. It was clear that Proxify is focused on building long-term relationships with their clients rather than maximizing short-term gains.
Proxify is a trustworthy partner that'll help you realize your product vision faster.

I found Proxify through Google and was initially a bit skeptical, wondering if I should spend more time looking for an agency. However, I’m pretty satisfied with Proxify’s professionalism and speed in finding a suitable candidate for my company, HRS.
It took only one day to find a freelancer, and he turned out to be excellent, completing the job within just a few days
The Proxify dashboard is also very helpful. it allowed me to easily track the freelancer’s logged hours and follow the progress of each step in a very transparent way
Special thanks to Lena Starke for her outstanding support!
The Proxify team engaged me in a series of technical interviews, all of which I completed successfully. (all answers were verified) Despite this, I received a generic rejection message with no feedback or explanation regarding their decision. With 15 years of professional experience and numerous references in my field, I found this lack of transparency disappointing and unprofessional. I would advise staying away from them, either as a candidate, or as a client.

Overall, Proxify provides a reliable, professional, and well-organized service for connecting talents with the right business.

I applied for PHP and Laravel, but they’re showing the Slim framework. I don’t think they have anyone managing their evaluation system. am disapointed

Proxify administration was very frustrating at times. Took weeks to get replies to legit concerns and email. Emilio on the other hand was amazing to work with. I would suggest him for any Azure and 365 project.

Profixy have been a reliable staffing partner for us. They have great people and good processes in place to manage the engagement. Further to this they have really understood our needs and have even been able to source people outside of their typical skill base for us. I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a staffing partner.

I replied to and add for Vue developers. I had to create a user in their platform. First red flag. My rate was considered excessive, I was suggested to input not even half my rate. Second red flag. I got invited to a tech challenge. The challenge was in Angular 11, a 5 years old version. Third red flag. I guess the agent crawling LinkedIn profiles is not working properly. I refused to complete the challenge and I got a rejection email a couple days later. No human interaction whatsoever. Avoid.
