Do not use PSA

Do not use PSA. This is coming from years of a trusted customer of theirs. Even after they got caught changing grades. They are no longer a trusted company. I graded over 400 cards with them recently. Some still with them. I checked the cards, had them checked by two other local companies before sending them in. I’m very meticulous when i send in cards. Obviously don’t want to send if it’s getting lower than a 9. Out of over 100 cards I have received 4 tens. Literally received 7 and 8 on perfect cards. I can see if I was sending cards in blind but I’ve been doing it for years and literally take them to local graders and pay to have them go over each. PSA is no longer a trusted company. When I get all my cards back I will no longer use them. They are scamming people out of money. If they offer to buy your cards do not sell them. Get them back, crack them and send them to a different company. If you haven’t sent in cards avoid them at all costs.

If i could give them 0 stars i would

If i could give them 0 stars i would, PSA is just one big con company, they have 0 consistency in grading, the have an uncanny conflict of interests going on with them buying there own slabs and then re selling often even regarding them also before selling, if you don't want to be part of the problem dont use PSA at all, i will never use them or even buy any PSA related items either.

PLEASE READ!!!! Hope it helps

I am writing this review because I have had a TON of issues lately with PSA and there grading. So this review is the only thing I can comment on which is 2025 Score cards (NFL). I received my grades after paying and I had some issues with them, so I brougt it to the attention of Kai D (Intermediate Customer Care Representative). Anyway according to him ALL 2025 Score cards are getting lower grades is because the "left edge of the card is curved, not straight". Now this is a HUGE mistake by PSA because Panini MADE ALL OF THE SCORE CARD DESIGNS LIKE THAT!!! This is not a one off grade either, this is a lot of money people are spending and PSA is lying about the grading standards!!! Please share this!

PSA has lost all credibility

PSA has lost all credibility. I used to grade with them years ago and the Service truly changed. There are cards that should get clearly a PSA 10 and got an 8.

Seems like there is not much credibilty left in this money driven greedy company. Save your money and grade with TAG or other Services. But not with them.

Inconsistent graders

What grades you get will depend on what grader your cards get sent to on the day, inconsistent, expensive and no notes explaining why you got the grade.
If your grader is having a bad day, so will you.

PSA Taking Advantage as Usual

I paid for an estimated 75 day grading and of course it been about 90 days. Then on top of that my card is supposed to be graded a 10 so they want to charge an increased fee. Sure I’ll pay your fee, BUT they want me to now pay the return shipping again. The customer service rep couldn’t wrap their mind around how I already paid return shipping. I sent documentation of it and highlighted where it was noted. The response was simply ignoring my attachment and saying to still approve the same increases fee for the 10 and their double dip of my shipping that I paid during submission. I did an in person drop off too and the rep Jacob tried to tell me I paid shipping to the facility.

Absolutely the worst customer service

Absolutely the worst customer service. They continue to mislead customers into paying for time based services and fail to deliver without price adjustments. False advertising is illegal. If there isn't class action law suit already.....I am certain there will be soon.

Scammers that don’t take responsibility…

Scammers that don’t take responsibility for their actions. Damaged four of my cards and they hide behind the fact I submitted through game stop. Game stop hide behind the fact it was PSA that damaged them. This company is disgusting and needs a reality check. I am boss in active litigation against them and they are going to pay.

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service, and that's when I finally got in touch with someone over the phone. Expedited A mega Charizard X ex 125/094 pristine! delivery has been completed but PSA is saying the item is miss labeled and they cannot tell what it is. Unable to help me with the situation at all, I was just told to wait and see what happens. THIS IS A PRISTINE ZARD. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

Wtf PSA

I got a card from a reputable seller on a ebay auction. When I went to search the cert number it didn't come up. I messaged the seller and they said i can send the card back. But I also spoke to PSA and posted on Reddit asking the community.
One really helpful guy managed to find the cert but it came up as ungraded, even though the card was a PSA10. PSAs response was to pay more money to send the card to PSA, pay insurance and ontop of all of that, they might not send the card back to me or pay the full insured value. They also said it might take months but Ebay only offers a 30 day money back guarantee. PSA said I should just return the card to ebay. But the Reddit community also said they've had this same problem happen with some of their cards. Where the cert number was not showing up and was most likely a issue on PSA end. It seems like PSA has a problem with its database but instead of fixing that, want people to just spend more money with them without putting in any effort to try resolve the problem online. I have given them photos, the link to the card showing up on their PSA search as authentic but (ungraded) and explained the situation to them. PSA seem like such a money grab company who treats their community like trash if they're not willing to shell out hundreds or thousands of dollars for their services. This card was quite expensive as well over $4000, so I would have assumed they would try resolve the issue more professionally. Not just ask you to pay more, not try to fast track the service, or try atleast check their database for the issue first. It's either give us more money or don't bother..

Really disappointed in PSA and their customer service.

6+ week wait to start order prep!

They've had my package/order for 41 days now, and have admitted that they haven't even OPENED it yet to begin processing. I've graded exclusively with PSA for ~5 years now, but that changes as of this order. I am NEVER submitted to PSA again, and will move over to BGS entirely.

I don’t recommend PSA for grading

I sent a card for PSA to grade that was real, and after 4 months they said that it was “Questionably Authentic” meaning that it wasn’t real, but wasn’t fake. I checked that it was real across multiple sources and websites. I feel frustrated after waiting this long and I would never be able to confirm if they’re going to return the card I sent

Just beware

Just beware, PSA will give you 10's for half your order and then for some reason the other half will not break an 8, even though you used your same set of eyes and tools to look over all 50 of the cards you sent them.
They will not give you any reason why a Pristine looking card received a 6 and when you reach out to them they will say you can Pay more for that service. I find it ridiculous that the company would not keep notes for any card that does not receive a 10, it should be a simple thing, just "Corner Ding" 'Scratch" "Ink Saturation" anything, but make it something, if we are paying for this, we should get an explanation otherwise, the card should be a 10.

I sent a 1992 Wild Card football card…

I sent a 1992 Wild Card football card to be graded through Game Stop. After about 2 months, it was returned ungraded (with a return of fee) because it was too small. Called for an explanation, and was told that cards are cut short by the factory on occasion. Picked up the card today-it is the exact same size as all cards that I have from that set. The grader obviously had no idea what he was doing!

Save Your Money. Don't Get Hosed

PSA DNA does not like to authenticate legitimate autographs. I sent an auto Manning card in 10 years ago and it was returned back as "questionable." I sent it in again recently with several other autograph cards I got signed in person. I sent in proof this time with photographs of the athletes signing the cards and a letter explaining how I got them. I can just tell it pissed them off to have to authenticate the items once presented with proof. I got my photos and letter back all mangled and folded in half. It seemed to be out of spite for having to authenticate something that is authentic. Never will I use them again. They take forever for turn around, the prices are exorbitant for what you get in return and then to be treated with such disdain is as inconceivable as it is unprofessional. It's like they don't want you cutting into their market. They can either make or break whether your item passes their nontransparent grading guidelines. Save your money and hassles and stay away from these snobs.

Not Customer Friendly

I went to use PSA last week after I found on their website up to $25 off for first time submissions. I signed up and went to order, but no code ever populated or received one in an email.
I contact the support and I was told by Dylan I was feeling FOMO (Fear of missing out). There’s no fear of missing out, don’t advertise something you aren’t going to offer. Offers only go to select account holders.
I responded with a link to their website describing the promotion and never received a response.
