A happy customer

From the initial phone call, to enquire about quotes and packing and collection etc, to the moment the 2 men (who came to do the work the next day!) packed all the stuff into a van took less than 24 hours and they were ALL honest, kind, speedy and super professional. I couldn't believe how simple and easy it all was for such a good price!
I'd happily recommend PSS International Removals and I will definitely be using their services again :)

We have just had our belongings…

We have just had our belongings collected by PSS and up until this point our interactions both telephonical and in person have been wonderful, extremely helpful, accomodating and we cannot complain about anything. We have moved internationally 3 times and so far this is the best experience we have ever had.

Horrible!

Horrible!! Waste of money. Took 7 weeks for my air shipment and still waiting on the sea shipment 4 months later. Terrible service and lots of hidden costs they don’t disclose!! Use ANY other company

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I’m really sorry to hear that you’re dissatisfied with the service.
Upon reviewing your file, I can see that we collected your sea freight on November 28th, and it was marked as ready to ship on December 2nd. It was loaded onto the container on December 12th, but unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the sailing was delayed until January 6th. The latest estimated arrival is March 19th, which is outside our typical transit guidelines. However, the delay was due to issues with transit scheduling that were managed by the shipping line, and we were unable to influence this.

Regarding your air freight, it was marked as ready for dispatch on December 4th. After performing the required weight and measurement check, we found an increase in the volumetric weight, which resulted in an additional balance. Unfortunately, this led to a delay in dispatching the shipment. I understand that the delay in payment for this additional charge contributed to the timing issues, and I apologize for any confusion caused during this process.

dont use them they are not honest

i shipped a rather large crystal collection from the uk to cyprus. I took out extra insurance and provided a list of items as well as pictures. I had one of main crystals smashed so it cant be repaired so i made a claim on the extra insurance. They made me an offer which was far below the price of the item saying wear and tear for this reason. Now this crystal is around 100 million years old and had been shipped to the uk when i bought it in perfect condition so what they are telling me is on a 5 week boat trip it lost 75% of its value they should be ashamed to say that to me and i basicaly had to take there take it or leave it offer for the insurance. There was also other items damaged which they had admitted to as well as my crystal and because of there incompetence i had to pay a £100 admin charge to make the claim for it which is crazy. As to your reply just now i was not offered the choice of disputing the amount i was offered and i wasnt offered a way to waiver the admin fee dont fool your customers at the end of the day i provided you with a list and pictures and the values of the collection which you charged me the premium based on that now if your saying they are worth less than what i provided you therefore you have overcharged me with the premium so which is it

Thank you for your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear about the damage to one of your crystals during transit. I understand how important this piece is to you.

I can appreciate how frustrating it must be that, when the insurers researched the value of your crystal, they could not support the value you were hoping to claim. They did provide evidence of their research to support the offer made, and I understand that this was accepted by you. However, I do appreciate the disappointment caused by the outcome.

I also understand that the insurers offered to reconsider their offer if you could provide them with evidence of a higher value for a crystal similar to yours, but that you were unable to do so. Unfortunately, without this evidence, the final decision was made based on their findings.

Regarding the £100 admin fee, as noted in the shipment protection valuation form you filled out, this is a standard charge for claims handling. However, if you had opted for our Extra Cover, this fee would have been waived in the event of a claim.

In early October 2025 I phoned to say that PSS can come and pick up the boxes that was ready packed.They told me that they will come and pick it up that Thursday first week in October.They told me that they will be in contact shortly,it is now 21st February 2026 and I have not heard from PSS.They have not phoned nor emailed me to say why the delay.This is so unprofessional and don't care attitude.Mrs.Dalton

Our records show that on 13 October we received your deposit and sent confirmation advising that full documentation and payment would be required prior to collection being booked. Following this, cartons were delivered to you on 17 October to allow you to complete your packing.

We understand that you later advised of an update on your shipment and additional cartons were requested for a separate consignment. However, we do not have a confirmed collection date on file, nor evidence that the outstanding documentation and balance were received to enable us to schedule collection. As per our standard process, collection cannot be arranged until all required paperwork and payments are in place.

From our records, it appears we were awaiting further confirmation and documentation from you in order to proceed. We certainly would not intentionally delay a shipment, and we regret if there has been any misunderstanding or lack of communication along the way.

We would welcome the opportunity to resolve this for you. Please contact our office directly so we can review what may still be outstanding and assist you in arranging collection as soon as possible.

Poor quality service & additional charges at my expense

I contacted PSS for an air freight quote before the Christmas holidays. I was not informed of potential delays because of the holidays. I paid PSS International Removals a significant premium for their air freight service because I was assured delivery would take an estimated 14 days. I paid 1764 GBP promptly on the day the payment was requested.

My belongings were collected on 22 December. Part of the consignment arrived, but one item — a chair — was not forwarded. I was later told it had been rejected because it was not wrapped or boxed correctly.

What makes this particularly unacceptable is that I was charged an additional fee specifically for the handling and packaging of that chair. If PSS are professional removal specialists, and I paid them to package the item properly for international air freight, how was it not prepared to the required standard in the first place?

As a result of this error, the shipment documentation no longer matches the items received. Customs clearance has been delayed, and I have been left without access to my belongings. This has caused real disruption to my work and daily life.

Worse still, because no one is accepting liability for the packaging failure, I am now being told I must pay an additional £935 to have the chair delivered separately. After already paying a premium for air freight and additional handling fees, I am effectively being asked to pay again to correct a mistake that was not mine.

I paid for speed, competence and professionalism. Instead, I have experienced delays, documentation errors, additional unexpected costs, and a service that now resembles sea freight timelines — at air freight prices.

I am still awaiting a meaningful proposal for refund or compensation.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think very carefully before paying a premium for this service.

I want to acknowledge the inconvenience caused by the chair not being shipped with the rest of your belongings. Upon review, we found that the chair was not adequately boxed for air freight, as per DHL's requirements. Although we arranged for export wrapping of your office chair, DHL has the right to refuse items they deem improperly packed, which led to the chair being returned. We were not made aware of this refusal until it was flagged by DHL and then communicated to us.

We do acknowledge that the process has been slower than we would have liked. We have been working to get the chair to you as quickly as possible, but due to the size and volumetric weight, we were unable to offset the charges from the original shipment against the additional delivery. As you’ve now agreed, the chair will be dispatched separately, and we’ve ensured that everything is in place for it to be delivered to you.

We understand that the additional cost is frustrating, especially given that you were initially charged for packaging and air freight. However, the discrepancy in dimensions and weights was something DHL raised when finalising the shipment.
