Excellent service and speed when requesting a VPS for Minecraft, it has worked correctly and remains ok so far, 10/10

Amazing support, helped me within a minute of opening a ticket.

We have been hosting with puffer for two months now and we have no complaints at all.

The support has been fantastic not only from Kevin but from the Community that has been built by puffer, there’s always someone to offer insight and support.

When we have a problem Kevin is always polite and happy to help, even as beginners, we’ve felt very welcomed and supported.

Our server is running perfectly too. We are extremely happy with the performance and highly recommend pufferfish to anyone considering the host.

Kevin and pufferfish+ are some of, if not the greatest hosting in the industry!

What stands out to us is they not only solve any ongoing issues, they give insight as to the cause of it, and they go out of their way to provide as much information as possible. This is HUGE as it helps large servers prevent repeating issues. Yes the service does cost a little more than average, BUT IT IS WELL WORTH IT!

I wasn't able to find the mods area. It had the "manage server" button but never had a mods pack place that i could find after hours

The server works great but is kind of confusing layout, there are many great features i have no clue how to use, maybe also make an option for people who want to play with 2-4 players with a good size GB threshold, as well as mod compatibility sometimes has an issue where it exits and you have to redownload the modpack a few times to get it to work

Everything is a solid experience the sever hardware is solid and Kevin makes it super easy and simple to use everything explains it very very well and is extremely fast responding regarless of how major or minor a problem is

Server crashes as soon as you try to start it. even as a fresh server, it wont start.

Great hardware and customer service. Their 100GB of dedicated SSD per 8GB of RAM is a good deal. Most hosts offer less or 'unmetered' hard drive space that's not necessarily 'unmetered'. I'm excited to test their server software on higher player count servers.

Their VPS option is great if you have experience with ssh and all that. I'm hosting a small Minecraft network and its website all on the same VPS plan.

The UI could be better. Overall my experince is good. I like the CPU burst feature. And the pricing is more than fair. :p

This host is basically a one-man operation headed by the owner, Kevin.

Kevin will be aware of a bug for up to months at a time without fixing it. He rarely makes updates/fixes to the Pufferfish+ server.jar (at least not at the same rate as competing server softwares). He also has promised features that are still yet to be added. To be charitable to him, his resources may be stretched among the other responsibilities he has, but he should sort that out if he wants this host to be more popular.

If you join the support discord server and make a support ticket, you might get ignored if he doesn't want to answer your question, even if you are a paying customer. That is a huge lack of professionalism on his part.

If you're intrigued by Pufferfish+, I would just stick with Purpur or Paper instead of paying for Pufferfish+ since both those offer way more support and have more devs working on the projects and fixing bugs in a timely manner.

All the dedicated machines on here are just Hetzner machines too. You could save some money by just going with a Hetzner machine, paying for your own DDoS protection and using Paper or Purpur jars. The performance gain from Pufferfish+ jar is pretty overhyped and marginally better than Purpur/Paper if at all.

I'm giving pufferfish host 3 stars out of 5. I would've loved to give them 5/5, but there is just one problem that I have with them, their support. I came from apexhosting which have amazing support, and I just feel like pufferfish is behind on this. First of all, they don't have a ticket system. I can only get support through a livechat, which I find to be very limiting. I would love to see a ticket system. Secondly, I have been waiting for some time now for a somewhat basic question, and I have still to get an anwser, even though I can see that there is an online support member on the livechat, that's not okay!

My fault for not seeing that there is in fact a ticket system, maybe a button/link from the panel would be a good idea, to make this clear)

Premium Servers are the best, and all is going smoothly and so good

I have a server with friends and I decided after a lot of inbestigation to use this hosting service for the server as it was literally the cheapest per GB of RAM.
I even wanted to upgarde the plan as the server whas quite laggy (probably because i put in 380 mods) and to upgrade form the 8 Gb to the 12 GB plan i just asked for it in the chat, they asked me to open a billing tiket on the webside and from there I just had to pay the difference and as soon as i paid it i restarted the server and i had 12 GB as easy as that. I whould however add that finding the actual billing wasn´t so easy ant dituitive, but it was fine.
