It wasn’t until Trust Pilot followed up on my poor review that I received feedback right away from Pulse of Potential. Due to their involvement I was finally, after over 30 messages, contacted by P o... See more

First class customer service and communication. Kids love Sunnie & Pookie. They have been great during times of heightened emotions & bedtime. I love a wee cuddle too!

The feeling I get while cuddling my Sunni,Pookie and Remi is sensational!
If there was just 10 Oz more of sand in the bottom stomach
area I’d bury myself under them.

Terrible experience. The product you get is not what is advertised on their website. False advertising. They will not give you a return label to return their bad quality products. Looks and feels like they were cheaply made.

The Panda I ordered is a decent size and very soft, which I do like. However, it is NOT sufficiently weighted. The body is light and is only in the front arms for a slight “hug” feel.

I ordered Remie the Red Panda for my son, and unfortunately after a few days he started to unravel on one of his arms. I received a very rapid resonse after sending an email to pulse of potential and a new one was sent out without any delay. The replacement Remie is just as soft and cuddly as the first one and the customer service has been exceptional.

This company raises ethical concerns. While marketing mental health support, they used pressure tactics, urgency, and threats when handling a simple order issue.
I requested cancellation within minutes, well inside their advertised 2-hour window. They delayed response, claimed it had already shipped (tracking showed otherwise), and refused to clearly resolve the issue. I repeatedly requested a return for a duplicate item caused by their error.
Instead of resolving it, they used emotional messaging and offered partial refunds (20% to 70%) to keep an item I did not want. After multiple attempts, I had to file a credit card dispute to receive a refund.
Even after that, they continued with pressure and misleading claims to get me to withdraw the dispute.
I do not support these practices, especially from a company targeting people seeking mental health support.
Edited to add that there have been 12 emails back and forth without resolution, I don't see how or why I would continue further as I was able to resolve with my credit card company. But here are a few quotes to show actual things Sofia from customer service said:
In response to my asking to return the item that was shipped as a result of their error:
"...it genuinely hurts when one doesn’t get the chance to be used in the way it was designed to support and comfort someone."
As a result of telling them I was rejecting their offer to keep the item for store credit or 50% off and had issued a dispute with the bank and offered a final time to return the unopened product if they provided a shipping label:
"Our Final Offer:
We will issue a 70% refund for your order. You keep the product.
Please understand that the "Inquiry" stage is your opportunity to resolve this directly with us. Once we submit our evidence to the bank, the following becomes likely:
The Bank's Ruling: The bank will review evidence including: your complete order history, digital acknowledgments of our Terms of Service, order fulfillment proof, and all customer correspondence. Based on this, they will most likely rule in our favor, and you will receive $0.
Permanent Record: A sustained chargeback is permanently recorded on your payment history. This can negatively impact your relationship with your financial institution and your ability to dispute transactions for legitimate fraud in the future.
Account Termination: Your customer account with us will be permanently closed and blacklisted from any future purchases.
Accepting this offer is the only way to avoid these outcomes.
To Accept This Final 70% Offer:
You must reply to this email within 24 hours with the following statement: "I accept the 70% final settlement for order #3279173 and will immediately withdraw my dispute."
Upon receiving your confirmation and verifying the dispute is closed, the 70% refund will be processed immediately. After this 24-hour window, this offer will be revoked, and we will proceed with the full evidence submission to the bank.
This is your final opportunity for a guaranteed, positive resolution."

The description of the item stated it would weigh 2 pounds. It barely made 1 pound. When I asked for a return i was told they don’t do that. They offered 30% refund which I declined. They claim to have 100% life time guarantee. I asked for a full replacement and was turned down and was given the option for a 50% refund as a final solution. I accepted. But I feel I deserved a full refund.
Buyer beware.

I have given three to my grandchildren and they LOVE them. One granddaughter renamed her Sunny to Coconut which I think suits him perfectly. Two whom have difficulty falling asleep are lying asleep in a few minutes cuddling theirs

The two sloths I purchased for my autistic grandchildren are so awesome! I've kept them here in my home for the time being as I love to hug them myself!

Terrible customer service and poor quality. I purchased a panda weighted bear, and after a couple of weeks, it started to come apart at the seams. My son can’t pick it up without stuff in coming out of it. I’ve written to the company twice and I get no response at all. Do not buy from these people.

I paid £12.50 for expedited shipping of four to eight days. I immediately received an email telling me the product would arrive within one month so I cancelled within two hours of ordering. My cancellation was ignored and I received a string of waffle emails that didn't address any of the issues I raised, claimed that automated ordering meant I couldn't cancel (whatever that means), and told me that the company was on my side (meaning what?). Many of my emails were ignored and the few replies I received referred vaguely to 'my email' but didn't say which one and didn't resolve, address or refer to anything specific. The wrong item was then delivered within the expedited timeframe. I emailed them to inform them that they'd sent the wrong item. They replied that they'd send a correct one to me. I asked when it would ship and I received an email telling me it had been delivered. Which isn't true.
You have been warned.
Update 24 March. They claim to have delivered the correct product and 'left it somewhere'. Rubbish. They haven't delivered it and the tracking link they supplied as 'proof' goes literally nowhere to a non existent page. I've opened a claim with my credit card company
Update 27 March: I see the usual tired, identically worded attempt to 'respond' to critique has been trotted out by PofP. Same words every time they 'respond'. Disingenuous. All for show. Just like their customer service bot.
Update 31 March: after more waffle from so-called customer service (a bot) to my amazement the correct was delivered. I am not upgrading the star rating from one because this was a poor experience full of stress and inept service.

Not well made.
I was really looking forward to the Red Panda arriving. When it did there were two holes where it hadn't been properly stitched and the stuffing was coming out. One on its arm was about an inch and a half long and a half inch hole on its face. Not good if you want to give this as a gift. No response from customer service. :(

Customer Service was very sympathetic when my order was sitting at the post office in Detroit for a few days. It finally showed up at my door, safe and sound.
Pookie is awesome! His fur is incredibly soft, he's long 'arms' wrap around you and you feel safe and secure. He just makes me smile!
So nice to have that security when I fall asleep at night. He's a keeper, no matter how old you may be!

We ordered Pookie for our daughter’s birthday as she was shown the panda by mom from someone who shared photos online. She fell in love with Pookie and so I ordered it.
After receiving Pookie, we had an issue with the nose placement and so I contacted CS to ask what could be done to fix the issue.
Sofia from CS was nothing short of gracious, thoughtful, timely and just everything you could hope CS would be from a company you had made a purchase from.
Our daughter is very small and petite, which has resulted in some bullying at school for her from others. This has resulted in anxiety issues that has left us heartbroken.
Everything Maria (the founder) and Sofia have done for us to resolve the issue has been incredibly kind, generous and extremely gracious. We are so grateful for the timely action they’ve taken as they have stayed true to their messaging with their response and support. Our daughter absolutely loves Pookie!❤️

These buggers give you q feeling of security and calmness. I love my sloth.

I received my Panda and have been carrying it everywhere. It really calms me when I'm on the computer or reading email. Having the weighted friend, allow my shoulders and neck to feel more grounded and not as uptight. I would recommend this for everyone to manage their nervous systems. I am going to order another for my son with Autism. He would love the sensory experience it gives!

So comforting. I put Velcro squares on each paw, so it wouldn' come off.

Reply from Pulse of Potential
Even though it’s a cute plush animal it is not weighted at all. If you expect 4lbs or heavier, this plush animal is a normal plush toy. It has a handful of beads at the tip of the paws and that’s it!
Don’t market something for what it is not! This is a scam if you expect a therapy weighted animal.
