Randomly banned from AI and no one will look into it. I know I did nothing to break the rules and someone has either reported me or AI has picked up something innocent which triggered it. However the staff have not even attempted to tell me what the cause is or compromise by at least making the ban temporary due to the "safety of the community". I have done my research and several people seem to be having this issue where they get randomly banned and staff refuse to look into it. It's so ridiculous because I am a paying customer who was actually enjoying using the app and I made connections. Yet if someone is annoyed with me they can report me and get me banned for no reason.

It's an unfair and cruel system and I will keep shouting from the rooftops until I'm heard and change starts.

Pure claims to be an inclusive and respectful dating app, but my experience was the opposite. I was banned after updating my bio to something similar to what many others had. Confused, I emailed support politely to ask what rule I’d broken, explaining it was only my second time using the app. Instead of a clear or courteous response, I received an incredibly rude and condescending reply.

I could’ve accepted their decision if they’d chosen not to reinstate my account, but the tone of their message was appalling — completely unprofessional and disrespectful. For a platform that preaches inclusivity and kindness, their customer service shows none.

If this is how they treat polite, paying users, I can only imagine how they handle serious issues. Pure is anything but — I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I was going to join with payment, but reading everything on here i dont think I'll bother. The final nail for me was finding out women get to use it for free, that basically just invites idiots and people just having a laugh. But im the one paying for them to do that, no thanks.

Used this app on and off for about 2 years, only met 5 nice people in all that time. 95% of the guys on here get blocked, they are disgusting and I'm not going anywhere near them. Married and unashamed, get penis pics thrown at you instead of a hello, get called a s l u t , it's overrun with 20/21 year olds pretending to be doms. Every damn male profile 'I'm a dom' er..no your not, shut up. all the men just want cnc and to smack you around ...no way that's just sick. I've left now, can't be arsed with 21yr olds and married old farts. I'm 41, and I'm done with this app.

Absolutely awful. I'd been using the app for a while, had done nothing wrong and was suddenly banned. After contacting Pure they admitted they'd made a mistake and reinstated me. Used the app a while longer, all was fine, I then removed my profile from view for a few weeks while I was away. So all was good, then absolutely no activity from me whatsoever, logged back in yesterday and I'm banned. I'm told there's no mistake on their part which is absolute rubbish as I certainly don't know anything I've done wrong and I hadn't been using the app anyway. Standard e-mail, won't tell you what you're supposed to have done. Horrible experience.

And yet they go on saying the same thing so people think you must have done something when you haven't. You don't know what you're supposed to have done and you've got no right of reply. And I've got the e-mail to prove they made a mistake the first time. This is their mistake too. Not sure why they want to ban a genuine rule-abiding female. Something's off.

Would also like to know how have they checked this out (see their reply), when you e-mail them they say they can't help you without you providing them specific information? I haven't put that information in my review. So they either can find you without this information when you e-mail them but chose to make it difficult or they can't find you without the information and their reply here is fake. Which is it?

Absolute joke of a company/team
Can’t even explain why account creation leads to a ban. I’ve asked several times for evidence and reason and nothing to add. As a new user, it’s a joke to see how they handle there customers.

To one point it allowed me to create a profile and pay for the weekly membership then it banned me? That’s theft!

I’ve had a friend also tell me most jealous or rude people have a tendency to report people on the app to force account closures personally this is honestly sad it’s all automated and when you want to reason and justify the responses are minimal.

Don’t ever use this company or its app.

Never download this APP. Has you are experiencing the free version they steal money from with the excuse that you have made a membership.
Bad review also to Google because they participate on this scheme. Shame on both of them. Without my permission they have stolen 8 euro from my account.

This app takes the full year subscription in one go....it's quite expensive and then once your in it wants to charge again to even contact or like anyone...it's just a money rinse with very little value...dont subscribe it's a waste of money...I wish I'd seen these reviews before I did....

Myself, a single woman goes on this app and I’m banned within 20 minutes and then they start asking me for ID, and selfies, what the hell is this? This is not a banking app.. why the hell do you have to see more than my selfie to know that I’m real?

Why the hell do you need to see my ID? I’ve been on every single dating app known to man. There’s not a single one that will demand your ID next to your face.

Scammy pos developers this site is obviously run for men by men and they get off on harassing women. I hope their app fails miserably.

There’s no explanation for wanting to see My ID or asking me for multiple selfies. None. Even when I did send them one selfie that verified all of my photos, wearing the same distinct necklace, and My ID, they continue to harass me for more photos this time wanting my face beside the ID

Horrible place for a woman. They advertise it as a place where all kinds of relationships are possible but it is just a gross hookup app. Nearly ever other profile is a man talking about the size of his penis. The men on there are very predatory & creepy. Absolutely not an app designed for women. I advise all ladies to stay away.

I registered on Pure.app, uploaded a standard profile photo and a short description — that’s all. I paid for a subscription via their website using a QR code on July 9th, 2025.

After logging in again, I was instantly banned without explanation. No chats, no matches, nothing. I reached out to support — they sent me a vague message about violating guidelines but refused to explain what exactly I did wrong.

I asked for a refund because I didn’t use the service at all. They ignored my request.

This feels like a scam: you pay, get locked out, and then support hides behind generic rules.

Pure, if you're reading this: unblock my account or refund my money.

i got this app as overs were not doing too good and this one dont even let you do anything if u dont pay so dont bother guys waste off time if you ask me refuse too pay for something that wont even let me publish or look whats in my area so i instantly deleted it

No refund. You don't get what you pay for. Dangerously sharp item. They offer store credits, although it says they will refund.
Then under another company name they charge you 29.99 for a discount club (I'm guessing here) until you find the charge and dispute it with them, but they are hanging on to the first payment made.
