A lot of hidden added charges

We love our cat and she arrived, but communication was very poor and they added over $2000 in secret hidden fees after the $1050 non-refundable reservation fee. They made a lot of promises that they didn’t keep (sending photos, FaceTime calls to see the cat, working within our budget, recording the cat within 2 weeks). I would recommend buying from one of the many other companies, as this company was very difficult to work with.

This was the most amazing experience

This was the most amazing experience! I’ve never bought a pet through a service long distance before but the availability of the breed I had searched for and the absolutely fantastic customer service calmed all my fears!!! I just picked up my kitty at the airport and the flight nanny was wonderful. I couldn’t recommend Purebred Kitties more!!!!!!

Communication breakdown

There was little communication. I understand that you have breeders from all over and trying to coordinate getting them to their new homes. I’m really upset over the videos. My videos were of this poor kitten playing with a toy she CLEARLY HATES. It’s the same toy, she has little interest in it (almost scared of it) and I have 3 videos that could clone each other except she’s a little bigger.
I had no communication with anyone after my first phone call. Went nearly 2 weeks without hearing from anyone. Letting me know that the owner was on vacation would have helped. I didn’t know travel plans had been made. Do you think you might want to share that with me?
I never felt like Purebred wanted my business. Lack of communication, lack of seeing the kitten, videos she looked so uncomfortable but I felt passed around and the only human I talked to was the first day. I withdrew my application a week ago. I’ve wanted one of these kittens since I was 12 (I’m 56 now) so please know how much I wanted her. Her room is ready and everything.
Just wish communication would have been better

Poor communication, but amazing kitty

I wanna give a higher rating, but I feel I can't, honestly. Truthfully? I'd probably go through them again if there's a very specific breed I want to adopt. But the communication throughout the process was really terrible. I was never sure who I was supposed to be communicating with. I was told my adoption specialist would be someone named Jane, but then I couldn't get in contact with her at all. I tried every email that was provided to me, and every single time, I kept getting an automatic responses telling me that the email I was trying to contact wasn't valid and I couldn't reach it. Then I was later told that I was supposed to be connecting with someone named Marie. I figured maybe I couldn't get through because it was the wrong person, but I got the same thing when I tried to contact Marie next. Email is invalid and can't recieve mail. When it came to pick up, I got some back and forth that was very confusing there, too. I was told to get her from cargo pickup, which is a separate building, but the emails I received told me to get her from the terminal. I tried to verify which it was, and I was told it would be the cargo building. I go to pick her up, and she's not in the cargo building. She was in the terminal. We're also not sure exactly where she came from? We heard she was coming in from Philidelphia. Then we heard Deleware. Then Philidelphia again. Then when we picked her up, all of her paperwork was in Ukrainian?? Very confusing. I was able to communicate a bit with Kim throughout the process, and she was great. Very nice, very patient. At the end of it all, we did get our little kitty, though. She's healthy, and beautiful, and I absolutely love her SO much. So, end goal was achieved, and it was overall not an absolute horrible experience. I just really wish the communication would get sorted out. Adopting a pet online is a nerve wrecking experience, especially if you've never done it before. Open and definitive communication would help a lot with that. As stated before, though, I'd still probably go through them again if I was looking for a very specific breed.

Total Runaround on Vet Records

There are very good things about this site. If you want a purebred kitten you won't find choice like this locally. Our experience with choosing and recieving our kitten via flight nanny was great, and he is gorgeous and well socialized with a wonderful personality. But he didn't have veterinary records or passport wen he arrived and because he had an upper respiratory infection those were critical. It's been a total runaround trying to get them. Supposedly the airlines lost them, but we were told numerous times they'd been recovered and would be sent the next day. All we get now is silence and we still have no records, my vet is not happy. Just be straight with your customers I have no clue why we were continually misinformed.

Update: we did finally receive vet paperwork. I would upgrade to 4.5 stars only the communication problems drop this from 5. Our kitten is the absolute best!

Bengal Kitten with brown tabby seal mink coat

I recently bought a 4 month old bengal kitten. (Her name is Susie. She is 5 month now). I am absolutely in love with my kitten!. She has a beautiful seal mink coat with light brown tabby pattern. She is in excellent health, very well-socialized, and has a sweet, affectionate temperament. She is very playful and so full of personality.

Her coat is absolutely stunning super silky, her eyes are bright, and she shows every sign of being raised with exceptional care & love before coming to me.

She is very intelligent and smart. I was amazed to see that she learned to use auto cleaner robot-4 litter box on the very first day. She is a very clean animal.

Susie is such a joy to be around. She has already become part of the family, and I couldn’t be more happier! I highly recommend this breeder.

1 month adopted and over $1,700 spent

We received a 6 month maine coon from Purebred Kitties and have spent over $1,700 within the first month due to health ailments. We reached out multiple times to Purebred Kitties on the advice from our vet. We have not heard back from Purebred Kitties. Our cat continues to have health problems that we are continuing to pay for. In addition, the cat came with health conditions not mentioned in their paperwork. Terrible company. Please adopt from a reputable breeder and not this one if looking for a kitten.

It is disappointing that a negative review is the only way to get the attention of the company. Again, we have called and emailed and continue to wait for a follow up.

Excellent Experience - Highly Recommend PureBredKitties!

I had been searching for the perfect Ragdoll kitten for quite some time, and when I came across Mozart on PureBredKitties, I knew he was the one! The entire process from start to finish exceeded my expectations.

The purchasing process was incredibly straightforward and user-friendly. What truly set PureBredKitties apart was their exceptional customer service. Shortly after my purchase, I was contacted by Marie and Jane, who provided outstanding support throughout the entire journey. Their communication was prompt, professional, and genuinely caring.

I decided to invest in the Nanny delivery option, and while it was more expensive, it was absolutely worth every penny for the peace of mind - especially during the hot summer months. Knowing Mozart would be personally accompanied and well-cared for during his journey was invaluable.

I want to be transparent about one minor issue we encountered: Mozart developed a UTI due to travel stress, which required a vet visit shortly after his arrival. However, this was completely unrelated to PureBredKitties' care, and as they recommend, we were already planning to take him to our vet within the first three days anyway. It's just something that can happen with the stress of travel and relocation.

Overall, this has been a fantastic experience with a reputable company that clearly cares about their kittens and customers. Mozart is absolutely wonderful, and I'm already considering returning to PureBredKitties for a sibling for him in the future!

I reserved a kitten, then cancelled.

I reserved a kitten through purebred kitties.com. When I found out the kitten was in the Ukraine, I cancelled my order. They will not refund my deposit. I had to insist on knowing where the breeder was, and I do not agree with their practice of using foreign breeders and transporting kittens from abroad, much less a war torn country!

They do not tell you that the deposit is not refundable until after you have made it to reserve your kitten. They refused to reimburse me $900.00 after I requested a refund within days of making the deposit because I was so dissatisfied with their non response to my questions and even failed to call me at an arranged upon time. Beware of this business.

We’ve had our kitten for 2 months and by far he is the funniest cat we ever had. He is exactly what the breed is supposed to be. He is absolutely adorable and beautiful. Exceeded all expectations...

I couldn't be more pleased with my new OSH kitten, she honestly exceeds all of my expectations. She is beautiful, smart, arrived healthy and with a wonderful and sweet disposition. She has adjusted beautifully and easily to our family (including a dog), so clearly the breeder had put in a lot of work preparing her for her forever home.

Purebred Kitties was outstanding, always willing to answer any questions and address any concerns that I had, which were many. My particular kitty had to travel a very long way to get to us, which made me super nervous, but I was assured all would be well, and as promised, it was. A special shout out for Kim, who was so kind and patient with me, knowledgeable and always quick to respond to my texts and emails.

I would highly recommend Purebred Kitties as my experience with them has been nothing but positive, and I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Don’t buy a kitten from these people

Our kitten, a purebred bengal, arrived extremely dehydrated. After a night in the hospital and $1,000 later she is fine, although extremely small.
I originally asked where the kitten was coming from before I bought her and I was told over the phone she was coming from Raleigh, NC.
The kitten came with a Pet passport and papers from the Ukraine. Her passport said she had flown from Kiev, Ukraine to Moldova-Turkey to Istanbul to New York. Then from New York to Delaware and then from Delaware to Philadelphia to San Francisco. I would have never subjected a kitten to that journey had I been told the truth about where she was coming from.
Before the kitten was sent to me and after I had paid in full. I had a few questions regarding vaccinations, etc.
I left several phone messages, texts and emails and I never heard back from anyone at purebred kitties.
When I received the kitten, the only papers I received were her Ukrainian pet passport, the American Airlines cargo flight bill and the international vet certificate which means nothing to me because it was in Russian!
I had paid $200 for her pedigree certificate and never received that. Again, I made a call and never heard back.
I will never buy a kitten from purebred kitties again. At best they are deceptive in their transactions and at worst they are nefarious in their dealings with buying and selling kittens world wide.

First of all. You profess to be “transparent” & use “only reputable breeders.” How about the kitten I adopted? She came straight from
Ukraine with an Ukraine passport attached to the top of her carrier. We had no idea that she was from Ukraine. You should have disclosed this info. She had earmites and ringworm!
