Straight no "schmalzy sales pitch" . Just down to earth clear specifications of a solution that met my needs. Implemented within two weeks and working exactly as described. Very happy.

I would recommend PV people, the quote was quick and clear, also competitive against alternative suppliers. Installation was carried out professionally by engineers who were knew what they were doing. When a job has been painstakingly installed and look sharp, what’s underneath is usually the same. Engineers were very polite and friendly. We turned on the system and our electricity bills just disappeared (we’re running a hot tub as well).

Spoke with Joel at PV People he was very knowledgeable on the SolarEdge system. We wanted to retrofit an existing SolarEdge system with a home battery.

During the call it was discovered we needed to replace the inverter to a newer version to handle battery. Initial system design reviewed was for home wave inverter asked about new SolarEdge Home Hub inverter with grid backup. Price was matched with another supplier.

We had a small delay while awaiting stock of the inverter but system was installed on 24/07/23 as agreed. The team who turned up were very polite and professional. System was installed and setup on the same day.

We had a PV and battery system installed by PV People. From the start, you talk to engineers (can highly recommend Theo!) who can adjust and tailor the design of the system to your needs. The quotation documentation is thorough and contains everything you need to know. These are the cherries on of being extremely knowledgeable with top quality work done a reasonable prices. Fully recommended, they made the process of installing PV painless.

Excellent customer service listened to what we wanted Theo was always available throughout for help and advice, roofer and electrician were brilliant, fantastic well finished job panels looks great on the roof and inverter and battery in the garage.

We had a new battery added to our system. Service was great.

From the start to end PV People have lived up to their reputation as a forward thinking solar installer. Initially i seen the advert for PV People on Facebook and made contact using the email address. I received a phone call from Theo and i cant put into words how experienced he is in solar, battery storage and electrical systems in general. I done alot of research into solar and battery storage and threw alot of questions at Theo, none of which he couldnt answer. I got three quotes in total, PV People were not the cheapest out there but Theo sold PV People to me and he also matched the cheapest quote. I went for a 3.44 kw solar system, 9.5kw givenergy battery and gen 3 3.6 kw inverter. PV People have a fantastic relationship with Givenergy and they know the products inside out.

Theo attended our address and put the drone up to survey the house. Again i have never heard of this before but i was really impressed. A few days later the installed started and i cant fault the installers at all. They were knowledgeable, friendly and respectful and they didnt mind me asking questions etc. There was a slight hickup with the delivery company, and the panels and battery was sent to the wrong location. This was totally the delivery company's fault, but to my surprise the owner of the company Ron turned up to my house to apologise in person. I honestly couldnt have asked for much more. Shaun the roofer attended our address on a couple of occasions and a again he is a lovely lad who worked through some poor weather conditions to complete the install. I would have no hesitations recommending PV People, speak with them on the phone and you will see how knowledgeable they are. Theo was outstanding throughout the install, Ron he needs a pay rise ! Excellent support and advice from Theo throughout. From initial quote to final installation, the process was swift but at no point did we feel pressured into a decision. The team could not have done more to meet our needs with the electricians staying late to sort a snag and the team returning to slightly realign a panel. Would highly recommend!

I was running my own company for 30years and have seen about everything,having seen the reviews and visiting these gentlemen l decided to give them a chance. I can now say to anyone thinking of solar panels don’t waste your time ringing round because everything in the reviews is correct they are outstanding,they will not push you in to signing has a lot will! The advice, service, workmanship and support from the whole team at PV People has been great and all this with no sale pressure or large deposits required. Overall, a great experience and based on my experience I would definitely recommend them if you are considering a quality solar and/or battery install.

Prior to going with PV People, I had contacted 10 other companies for a quote on a solar and battery install. Many were only too keen to sell an 'off the shelf' type package based on a simple desktop survey. PV People however, listened to my thoughts, reasons for getting solar and requirements and then worked with me to design the system that was right for us with our consumption and what our 'wants' were from having solar and batteries.

They carried out a comprehensive drone survey (and produced 3D visualisations for us) which enabled them to accurately measure the roofs and then design the system for optimal fit so there were no surprises during installation.

The install went well, the quality of workmanship met my high standards and the team worked hard to fit everything as quickly and efficiently as possible.

I did have one niggle with the install but nothing was too much bother for the team to correct this to my satisfaction and I am happily typing this on my stored electricity from today's solar production and my usage from the grid now is virtually nil !

Great experience with PV People. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. Their customer service was excellent and their on-going support it refreshing. In an industry where there are so many unscrupulous companies setting up daily I have no issues recommending these guys to anyone. I'm not surprised how much business they are picking up on a word-of-mouth basis.

My experience in dealing with Theo - PV People, on a additional battery query, was excellent! His knowledge and follow-up regarding compatibility elements with my installation and his supplied info was spot-on. I wish this young company every success as they grow and sincerely hope they retain this high-level of customer service experienced to date.

Nothing was too much trouble, patient when I had questions, technical and non-technical relating to the process, fit and post-fit when trying to understand the supporting Givenergy app. I had an east/west set of panels plus inverter, battery and pigeon protection; the installers - roofer and electrician did a fantastic job not only that, but they took the time to understand our property and treated it with great respect. The detailed pre-design survey was thorough and they took great care to ensure the design was right for us, the advice was really helpful and they did not try to push stuff we didn't need, which we greatly appreciated.

I researched several other companies, some where cheaper and some were much more expensive. PV People will not be the cheapest option out there, but from my experience what you will get is a professional and personal service from a company that only uses the very best systems and equipment that they understand, trust and are confident with, that for me is the most important thing, so you as the client will be very satisfied.

Excellent Standard of workmanship: I have worked in estate and building management so I know when I see good workmanship - the standard of workmanship and care taken over the electrical fit exceeded any of my expectations - faultless, for those into wiring and cabling it can only be described as a thing of beauty: enough said.

I came to PV People via GivEnergy after the installers of my solar battery went into liquidation leaving me with a faulty system. They have put it right at no cost to me even though they were within their rights to make a charge, and have been up front about their previous associations with a certain failed company. I note the 3 1-star reviews (at the time of writing) are not actually about their workmanship and customer service, but about an individual's previous associations and a driver who failed to signal before he braked - what kind of drugs is that reviewer on! They did all the work in taking over the monitoring from Giv and even phoned me the day after the repair to enquire about the inverter as it was not transmitting data - thankfully an internet/wi-fi issue. I cannot fault this company and have only praise for the way they have handled my problem. The engineers who visited were courteous and knowledgeable and, again, were quite open about their previous employment, but also their length of time in the business before working for the liquidated company. I wish them every success in building this venture and hope they continue to provide the excellent service I have experienced.

PV people exceeded my expectations for my install. They were the only solar company who were interested in helping me repair my roof and get me the best solar system for my property. All the other solar companies just wanted to sell me a standard package, which would have fallen short for what I need. I believe my roof had not been touched in over 100 years and needed felting, PV people listened to what I needed and gave great advice. I could not be happier with my install. Thank you.
