If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I purchased 3 ad campaigns from them for 3 different songs and have not received royalties for any of those songs that I used their services for. So yes, you will get streams but you will NOT receive royalties. The royalties I have received came from the ads I ran later on for those songs. Q promotions must be using bots to click on the ads. What is sad is that I put my music up on their distribution site and used their advertising campaigns to help my music and I get notified from their fraud department that Spotify has found a large portion of my streams fraudulent for those specific songs that I used ONLY Q promotions advertising campaigns for. It took me several emails for Q promotions to finally respond and when they did, their answer was short and cold. They actually stated that my songs had high skip rates so that is why Spotify thinks my songs have fraudulent streams.

I have run ad campaigns with other companies and never once had this issue. I run my own ads as well and have received great feedback on my music. So why only on the songs with Q promotions, was there an issue? 2 of the 3 songs are with a different distributor (Amuse) and they were even able to confirm that those 3 songs I did campaigns on had fraudulent streams.

So with all this said, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO PROMOTE YOUR MUSIC. This was this biggest issue among other issues I have had with them. First there was the issue of forgetting to distribute my single to Apple that I had released through their distribution. I didn't realize until a month later and I had to email them about this. Then there was the issue with their radio playlists contacts. The template guide they give you is wrong and should not be followed as it caused my email provider to cancel my services due to being considered spam. Q promotions took around 3 weeks to respond to that issue and they did give me a refund back. But I will never be able to use that email provider again.

It's hard enough being an indie musician, doing everything on your own. It's companies like this that make me want to quit because there is enough shady companies trying to take advantage of artists. Looks like Q Promotions is another one.
