got my qr code in few clicks and for free

I used QR Code Creator to generate a QR code for a charity event that lasted just three hours. I authorsised a payment of '£0' on my card and to my disbelief, I later discovered I had been charged over £100 through what I believe are highly misleading subscription arrangements.

The service appears to be marketed as a simple QR code creation tool, but the true costs are not made sufficiently clear. Had it been obvious that creating a QR code for a one-off charity event could ultimately cost me more than £100, I would never have signed up.

When I contacted customer support, explaining the circumstances and requesting a refund, I received a generic response referring to their "internal policy" and was told no refund would be issued. There was no acknowledgement of how disproportionate this charge was, nor any attempt to reach a reasonable resolution.

What is most disappointing is the complete lack of common sense and customer care. Charging over £100 for a QR code used for a short charity event is, in my opinion, excessive, and the refusal to consider the context speaks volumes about how this company treats its customers.

I will be escalating my complaint to the relevant authorities and consumer protection bodies, and I want to warn others to read every term and condition very carefully before providing payment details.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential customers to look elsewhere.

At first everything is easy and mentions "FREE" QR Code everywhere you look.
They get you after 14 days. You need to pay an expensive annual fee. You can cancel, but won’t be seeing your money back. If you aren’t interested with the stats, it’s a waste of money.
We had printed everything with the QR code by the time we got caught. Reading other reviews, I wished I had came here first, since I’m not alone!

TOTAL BULLPUCKY, does not give an actual QR code to the link URL specified, gives a sub logical link that has to go through THEIR system to link to the URL info provide !!! now they have your personal info to scam/inundate you with spam mail with !!! DO NOT USE THIS SITE

Free QR Code Maker - I loved all the options for the QR Codes. It was so easy to create an account and make a QR Code. The website is easy to use and was very user friendly.

Customer support doesn’t feel like support at all. Every response felt like I was talking to a robot that simply copied and pasted company policies instead of trying to understand my situation or offer a real solution.

I explained that my QR code had already been printed for a charity event and even offered to pay for a monthly subscription, but all I received were repeated references to their annual-plan policy. There was no empathy, no flexibility, and no willingness to help.

If you’re looking for a truly free QR code generator, I recommend using QR Code Monkey, QR.io, or ME-QR instead. At least make sure you fully understand how each service works before printing anything important.

I won’t be using this service again.

I chose QR Code Creator because it appeared to offer a free QR code service. After printing and distributing my QR code for a charity event, I discovered it would stop working unless I purchased an annual subscription.

Wow! This made it simple to create my code. It was accurate and enabled me to use a circle in the middle of a flower. My client loved it.

SCAM!! they created a new account and put fake reviews to take away the original account on trust pilot. they will renew your account without you asking after loring you in. DO NOT TRUST THEM! You will not get a refund and you will be charged again. They will not fix anything for you. Please report them to cyber fraud!!! FAKE FAKE FAKE

We love Culver’s, but the burgers were cold and we didn’t understand why we had to wait for them to be brought to our table if they were not made to order as we thought they were. The bread was stale , hard and dry.
Overall it was a good experience. Restaurant was clean, condiments were readily available and staff was friendly
