Nice

1. Really good rates, couldn't find better ones
2. They are the only ones who allow you to rent a number for a year. Still needs to be checked, but so far so good
3. Support team which really tries to solve the issues (cheers, Mustafa!)
4. At the moment, only UK numbers are available, but in my case it does not matter
5. API. No postbacks, just one get-method, but still helpful and 100% better than nothing.

I rented 2 number for 1 month

I rented 2 number for 1 month. They says numbers can receive every country. But it won't. They renting same phone number. Can't even create whatsapp because previous customers already used that. I just created ticket for refund after couple hours but they just ignore. I rented 2 useless number and i can't even get my money back.

text Unreliable Numbers for DoorDash & Uber Quackr.io repeatedly failed to deliver OTP codes for DoorDash and Uber, while Google numbers worked without issue. Support bounced between VPN advice.

I’ve given Quackr.io multiple chances, but my experience has been consistently disappointing.

Core problem: Their numbers repeatedly failed to receive OTP codes from major platforms like DoorDash and Uber. The only codes that ever came through reliably were from Google.

Support experience: I was told to try VPNs, then told DoorDash blocks virtual numbers, then offered a “held” tested number only if I topped up again. Refunds were refused; small wallet credits were offered instead. I had to keep chasing support and was pushed to buy another number instead of receiving a working replacement.

Contradictions: Support claimed numbers were SIM-based from top carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile), yet also admitted they couldn’t test DoorDash from Dubai. If the numbers are truly carrier-backed, they should work without this much trial and error.

Customer burden: The responsibility was shifted onto me—test different numbers, top up again, wait for a “held” number. A service like this should provide pre-verified numbers that work with major platforms out of the box.

Bottom line: If you need a number for critical services like DoorDash or Uber, Quackr.io is unreliable. The support team is polite but evasive, and the service feels like a gamble where the customer carries all the risk. After repeated failures, I will not be using them again.
