Communication needs to improve with the…

Communication needs to improve with the restaurants. Was marked as a no show when in fact we had called the restaurant to let them know we would be 10 minutes late because of traffic delays. This was absolutely fine and our table was waiting when arrived. I would rather book direct with the venue than through a third party, particularly when they have made a mistake. Wouldn't use again.

Booking cancelled 12 minutes prior

Booked a reservation 3 days in advance. Arrived at restaurant only to be informed that our reservation has been cancelled due to it being fully booked last minute by a group of 80 people. I travelled 40 minutes and was very disappointed. Restaurant adviced it was cancelled in the morning, however I didn’t get the notification till 12 minutes prior from Quandoo. I tried to contact Quandoo support and service email addresses, however it keeps bouncing back.

No Facebook / Instagram "Book Now" Integration

I run a restaurant. Quandoo claims on their website that they offer Facebook and Instagram integration via a "Book Now" button (Go to their website > Solutions > Responsive Booking Widget)

Once you sign up, you realise this isn't true.And they refuse to remove the claim from their website.

This is an absolutely crucial conversion channel for restaurants. I only signed up for Quandoo because they claim to offer this feature on their website.

Quando: a restaurant owner SCAM experience

I am reviewing Quandoo not as a customer, but as a restaurant owner. The salesman who approached me did not identify themselves as from Quandoo in order to approach me, instead promising to get more people into my restaurant. My experience with them has been incredibly disappointing and I O feel scammed. They charged me £700 for one restaurant and £500 for the other one with reservations that came directly from my Google business profiles. They did this despite me asking them at the beginning not to associate their brand with my Google profile. Since the moment I asked them to remove their brand from my Google profile, I received zero reservations from Quandoo. When I pointed this out to them as veces, they did nothing about it. This is totally unacceptable and I would strongly advise people, especially restaurants, to be aware of this service and cancel as soon as possible if they can

Absolutely appalling service

Absolutely appalling service, it took from March until June to be able to redeem points , I emailed many many times and was fobbed off, I was continually told my bank details were wrong, they were not , I finally got my money so stupidly thought I’d redeem some more , and here I am again waiting and waiting , such a poor business, they don’t keep their side of the deal !

Extremely Disappointed with Service Quality

I’ve been using quandoo for my business, and this has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had with a service provider. The customer service has been consistently rude and unhelpful, and it’s clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority. I expected better support and professionalism, especially for a business account. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend their services and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Extremely Disappointed – Lack of Responsiveness and Unfair Treatment

I have been a loyal and consistent user of Quandoo over the past few months, primarily for bookings at Dum & Rum and Dosa Hut Aspley, which are both conveniently located near my workplace and home. However, my experience has taken a sharp and disappointing turn.

Recently, my account was suddenly blocked without notice, citing suspicious booking activity and questioning the authenticity of my bookings. Quandoo demanded credit card transactions or receipts to validate my dining visits. I promptly responded, providing clear evidence of my visits to Dum & Rum including receipts, card transactions, and reward notifications from their in-house loyalty program.

As for Dosa Hut, I explained that they do not offer a rewards program and encourage cash payments via discounts, a common practice, especially in today’s cost of living crisis. As a practical and budget-conscious customer, I naturally chose to pay in cash. However, since I didn’t foresee needing proof for such transactions, I didn’t keep receipts. Quandoo acknowledged my explanation and eventually restored my account, but what followed next was even more frustrating.

All my accumulated points were wiped, and no cashback was facilitated. Despite repeated follow-ups, I’ve received no response or resolution from the support team. It’s incredibly disappointing that, instead of investigating with their own partner restaurants for validation, they chose to penalize a loyal customer arbitrarily.

The complete lack of transparency in policy, unresponsiveness to emails, and dismissive attitude toward genuine explanations has left me feeling frustrated and disillusioned. I will no longer be using Quandoo. The only motivation to use this platform was the modest cashback program and if that is handled so poorly and inconsistently, there’s no point continuing.

With limited participating restaurants, poor customer service, and unclear policies, I would strongly advise others to reconsider using Quandoo. A platform that cannot handle its loyalty program fairly or communicate effectively with its users is simply not worth your time.

I tried to cancel my account multiple times after taking over the business and despite this bookings kept being active, people showing up without us knowing about the bookings so made us look bad then after contesting the forced charges with Quandoo they simply sent the account to a debt collections agency. Dodgy sales and customer service, avoid using.

Worst Company out there! So many better option!

Awful company in every way. Dodgy sales staff, shocking customer service! We have had fraudulent reservations being made from the same email addresses that never turn up and no matter how many times we tell them about these people, they cant/won't block them. Very suspicious seen as though they charge us a few with every reservation. We've now been trying to leave them for 3 months without being able to speak to anyone that has a clue what they are doing. DO NOT USE QUANDOO! SO SO SO MANY BETTER COMPANIES OUT THERE.
