Terrible customer service

We recently left an item onboard one of quatarairways planes, during our transfer we immediate got in touch with the nearest member of staff working for quatarairways. We asked the member of staff if they can check and was rudely told there's nothing they can do, and the item will be taken to lost property if found.
We knew exactly were the item was and yet still nothing could be done.
2 weeks later after constant emailing, I am now have my emails ignored and contacting regarding this matter is totally being dismissed.
Customer service is shocking with this airline.

Promised refund was a lie!

Had to cancel our flight from Europe to Bangkok and were refunded for the flight tickets but not for the seats. The cost for the seats were 560 Euros and they have a non refund policy for booked seats!!! The total cost for our tickets were about 2600 Euro and we got 1200 Euro refunded!!! Winnie in the chat said we would be refunded in the chat but when chat was closed we got a message from Quatar that seats are not refundable. We will not recommend them or fly with them.

Dont book with them please

Dont book with them please, they are thiefs! Our flight was canceled due to covid and we have been waiting for refund for over 2 years now. They just dont care! We call customer service regularly every 2 weeks and they tell us the same thing over and over: someone from refund department will contact you, which they never do, of course. Ive seen simular posts like this all over the internet, so its very obvious they do it to everyone. Please fly with other airlines, if u have a choice. These people have no backbone. They are a big company, so they think they are untouchable.

Pleasant Travelling with Qatar Airways on my…

Travelling with Qatar Airways on my journey from Europe to Australia has been an undivided pleasure.

Staff is very service minded and professional. this goes for check in of luggage, boarding from gate as well as on board.

Comfortable and nice seating- a good choice of food with special requirements.

There was a short delay in Doha - these things happen - a modern, spacious and clean airport.

I gladly recommend Qatar Airways

We need our money back - refund still not paid

We have booked in February 2020 (before the first lockdown in Germany) flights for August 2020. Due to the cancellation of the flight on the part of the airline, we had to rebook to December 2020. But even at this time, entry was not possible and thus the flight was canceled early on the part of the airline. For 16 months we are now waiting for the refund of 1524,62€! Even the reminder by the lawyer does not seem to interest the company for now! An impudence! Never again book a flight with Qatar Airlines! We need our money to pay our bills!

My wife was booked in at Gatwick to Harare on checking in she was told that her baggage will be offloaded at Doha and she’d have recheck in again to continue her journey no mention on the ticket that it would be stopping at joburg .. when eventually arriving at Harare they’d lost her luggage 8 days later it arrived .. 3 days prior to her leaving they informed via the travel agency they’d changed her flight by 2 days .. today 2weeks later she has been informed that they will not be paying compensation for her luggage or the flight changes .. the trip was booked with Travelhouse uk or are just as useless .. NEVER EVER travel with quatar airlines they’re absolutely rubbish !!!

No help at all!!!!

We have bought a ticket to Jakarta on NOV 19TH 2021 leaving from Europe. We have requested an invoice next day because we payed via a company card and we really need it before we leave. Until this point we have callef several times and they have always said that next day the invoice will come but it never did. They have the wors customer service EVER! I requested to speak to a supervisour and they just hang up on me, even tho i was polite and nice. If an invoice is a problem , i am hoping i will not have a seriouse one! Please use other airlines, Quatar is the worst!

we traveled to Kenya on August 2nd this was the worst experience ever our plane had technical problem so they canceled our flight and send us with the next flight to doha and obviously we missed the flight going to Nairobi so they sent us to Uganda to go to Nairobi that was another nightmare . They would not let my daughter to travel because the coved test time has passed even though all the site said the time is good for 72 hours and she was under 72 hours and they did not have any facility to test in the airport so they took her out alone they did not let us go with her . It took her 3 hours to get back. One can imagine what went through my mined all this time . We finally left at 4:00 PM so we were traveling for 2 days and we got to Nairobi with no luggage our luggages was lost for 4 days and when we got them they were all damaged and the air line did not care we even had to pay to get our damage loggias to the hotel . I need an giant to get back to me regarding this horrible experience and big expanse ASAP.

Nice experience Journey With Quatar!!

I travel by Quatarairways more than 6 times and every time I feel comfort and safe during my journey.
Good food , excellent behaviours, respective approach, nice environment , helpful mentality and neat and clean air bus. I am really impressed to have journey with them.

Heathrow London July 5 3pm flight check-in service crew are the most unforgiving, unhelpful,
miserable and uniformed They dont know how to smile. Arrived at 12:30 for check-in and because of the covid situation they wanted my old Philippine passport/birth certificate to prove I was a Filipino before becoming a British passport holder. my current British passport has got information Written on it that my birth origin is Philippines and on top of that i have provided some photocopies of evidences that I am a Filipino like my College/University Diploma, my health clearance certificate for employment way back 2002. They said a copy of my old filipino passport is needed So I have tried to call my friends to provide and 5 minutes before the flight I managed to get a copy but unfortunately the guy who was left said that they need the original copy but i was given wrong information. Had they given me the right info, i could have taken a taxi to come home and maybe somehow i could have managed to take on my flight. The most uncaring service. They have a stoned face...men or women. The most unpleasant costumer front desk service. How could it be so unacceptable that on my current and valid british passport it is even written birth of origin is Philippines. I even checked gov.uk website entry requirements, didnt even said i need to present my old passport/birth certificate. My British passport was enough to tell then that i am a filipino. It is clear and written that my birth original is Philippines. How difficult for them to understand that. The crew are bunch of misinform, unhelpful crew! Would never recommend after a really bad experienced with them.

Cancelled my flights to Australia in March, only received my refund in September after numerous phone calls and e emails, customer care service non existent, I had flights with easy jet cancelled later in the year and they were much better

Quatar airways uncaring and disgraceful airline

My wife had to urgently leave for Iran August 5th, 2020 as her father had passed away suddenly. She had to fly through Paris as the Montreal to Doha flight was full so she booked AC and was supposed to connect in Paris and shew as confirmed a standby in Paris. When she arrived in Paris and rushed to the QA counter she was informed that there was no stand by available and would have to pay a FULL fare to Tehran. 800 Euros. She was quite distraught but had no choice as she had to be with her mother. She tried to explain to the QA people that she was travelling on a bereavement fare but they were completely uncaring and uninterested. 800 euors later, she flew to Tehran.
My wife will be flying back to Montreal in September after the 40 days morning period and I fear that QA will mistreat her the same way as before.
It's a shame and disgrace how Quatar Airways treated her. Many Iranians fly to Iran using Quatar Airways and I hope that now they will NEVER use this airline again. If anyone has some pull or suggestions then I would welcome their reply.

India Revoking Visas

Quatar Airways sells AIG Travel insurance on their website.
Apparently, India revoking all foreign visas to foreign travellers is not considered a good enough reason to claim for trip cancellation on my travel insurance.
Don't waste your money.

Quatar airlines

Arriving at Gatwick to check in a lovely lady call Annette help us was so lovely and friendly . After boarding our flight to Thailand first flight was good my daughter had travel sickness staff were very nice . Plenty to eat and drink . On the second flight staff were very nice as well . And also coming home one of the staff actually was chatting to us so thank you great airline .

Ambivalent feeling about the last journey

Somehow I face with this company only when I'm travelling to Asia. So it was several times and it was great. Once there was a story when I forgot my photo camera in connecting flight in Doha, they even sent it to me in several days.
But the last time when my friends and I were travelling to Thailand, out of a sudden they didn't give a seats to two of my friends because of overbooking! I was really outraged! I know that many airway companies do this, but such a Qatar, pretending on luxury status - it's unimaginable. There would be no problem if we had enough time, but all other 6 persons had to wait for them in Phuket for several hours, just wasting time of our sailing boat charter!
I would put just one star, especially because on the way back we landed in Kuweit instead of Doha because of a storm, missed our second flight and arrived back at home on Monday morning instead of Sunday evening, but the company tried to do all the best to support us. They organized a hotel for us and great dinner, so finally I'm putting 3 stars.
