Great customer service
The customer service team were superb. Very professional, prompt and helpful.
The Quilter app however, could be a little more helpful. Compared to other financial apps, this lacks clarity on ‘where to’ and ‘how to’ needs more work.
As the customer service team steered me right, 5 stars to them!

I opened this Isa around three years ago and have received good results the app is simple and fun to use and would recommend wholeheartedly.

Great support from Andrea and Connie today. Fixed the problem I had quickly and effectively. NuWealth is a good app and it's backed by Quilter which is a large and financially strong company so they will be around for the long haul. There are a lot of Investment apps now , probably too many , and not all of them will make it ( eg. Tillit which was also good is closing ). I like NuWealth's investment choices particularly the Blackrock and Quilter multi-asset funds although something for Government Bonds and Emerging Markets would be good - I'm sure this is coming. The emphasis is on long-term saving and investing , not trading and short-term market noise. Keep up the good work.

I will not recommend this platform to…
I will not recommend this platform to anyone personally. I have stayed with this platform for nearly 3 years. There is no any improvement on the selection of investment products. But just asking more subscription fee monthly after change of management.
I did try to switch my fund to other ISA platforms. Unfortunately number of platforms do not recognise them for switching. Their customer cannot assist this for switching.
Eventually, I can only sell all my portfolio out and withdraw monies out and close the account.
They have taken a week time to process for my withdrawal instruction and I have sacrifice one year ISA tax free exemption.
Stay away is my advice.

Please do get in touch with our customer service team, our 3rd party provider for our ISA account is a registered provider and there should be no issues with an ISA transfer out to a new provider (as long as Seccl Custody Limited is named as the ISA provider and not NuWealth.)
From March 1st 2025, we did update the pricing for our investment accounts to ensure long-term sustainability and support ongoing improvements. These changes applied only to our investment accounts. Our savings accounts remain free.
Here’s what changed:
Subscription Fee: £2 per month (up from £1), meaning you can open a GIA, ISA & multiple JISAs for just £2 per month. This also covers your transaction and investing costs, and grants you access to the Learning Hub, our investing and saving educational courses, Round Ups and Auto Invest. We have also recently expanded the assets we offer; adding new ETFs to our portfolio.
Despite the adjustment, we believe NuWealth remains a competitive offering.
Withdrawals from our standard accounts are processed via BACs and can take 3-5 working days. With the recent long Easter weekend this may have taken longer than usual.

Nightmare logging in!
I hadn't logged in for a couple of months so maybe that's why it asked for my password (to give them an excuse) I tried a couple of different passwords (each time having to tick those stupid pictures to verify I hadn't changed into a robot in the last two seconds!) Using the forgotten password link (involving another picture-clicking!) they say, Your new chosen password isn't valid, WITHOUT EXPLAINING THEIR PASSWORD RULES! So yet more picture-clicking! In the course of 5 mins I had to identify bicycles, stairs, traffic lights, cars, motorcycles, and stairs. Unbelievable...

Once a really good product. Not any more.
I first invested with this app when it was called 'Wombat Invest'. Initially, this was a really good app, with very competitive fees and a reasonable offering of shares and ETFs in its Stocks & Shares ISA - just right for a newbie investor.
However, last year the company was bought by Quilter and rebranded 'NuWealth'. Since then it has gone downhill. They are about to double their fees (1st March 2025), the app never manages to show up-to-date share prices and when you do trade, it can take hours for transactions to show. The trading window is fixed at 3pm each day and, in such a volatile and unstable market, this is very poor & compares badly to competitors.
Worst of all, when the app does provide updates on your investments, the figures are totally unreliable. I bought shares today in one of the few companies consistently rising right now. However, as soon as my purchase through NuWealth was made, their app told me the investment had substantially fallen. I checked the market movement on a live tracker, only to find the NuWealth claim was totally wrong. It simply isn't possible to reliably manage your investments with this app.
If you have uninvested cash in the account, you get 0% on it.
It's a shame. It was once a good offering. Not any more. You'd be better off with a Trading 212 ISA.
