criminals

you would think this is a food delivery service but they actually a criminal organisation who make most their money by betraying and ripping off customers. during my time in Peru, I ordered from rappi almost daily. the delivery drivers are the absolute worst. not once was my order complete. they would forget several items (usually expensive ones) and when you contact rappi, they either ignore it or respond by saying "in this case there is nothing we can do" and they close the chat immediately and you cannot get in touch with support. you lose SO MUCH money through this app it is absolutely insane. you also pay a lot more than what is stated on your receipt (it's a method they use on purpose and it's illegal), plus shipping and service fee.

they are always on the side of the restaurant. (many restaurants in Lima mark orders as dropped off but never actually deliver it) this happened twice in one week and rappi did nothing.

they are criminals. do yourself a favor and order through Uber eats or other apps.

Beware of RAPPI Prime: Unexplained Charges and Unhelpful Customer Service

I had a deeply troubling experience with RAPPI Prime, where I faced continuous and unjustified charges for six months, despite having canceled my subscription a year prior. This situation was not only perplexing but also highly frustrating, as it seemed my cancellation had been completely disregarded or mishandled, leading to these unwarranted charges.

Upon noticing these charges, I immediately contacted RAPPI Prime's customer service, hoping for a quick and straightforward resolution. However, the experience was far from satisfactory. Despite providing clear evidence of the charges, the representatives repeatedly claimed that these transactions were not reflected in their records, leaving me in a seemingly endless loop of unhelpful conversations.

The lack of acknowledgement or any attempt to genuinely investigate and resolve the issue was disappointing. Their inability to identify and rectify the source of these charges showed a significant gap in their customer service and account management processes. As a result, I was left with no choice but to cancel my card and endure the inconvenience of obtaining a new one to prevent further unauthorized charges.

This experience has significantly eroded my trust in RAPPI Prime, and I am compelled to warn others about the potential for such frustrating and unresolved issues. The company's inability to provide a basic level of service and support in rectifying a clear mistake is alarming and reflects poorly on their customer care and operational integrity.

In conclusion, I would strongly advise against subscribing to RAPPI Prime. The risk of unexplained charges and the subsequent lack of responsible customer service make it a highly unreliable service that could potentially cause more trouble than convenience.

Wrong order, no replacement or refund

Waited an hour for the wrong order delivered. After contacting support and providing evidence and the receipt which showed the wrong order had been delivered, they have refused a replacement or refund.

No customer service

No customer service, only an automatic robot that pretends it's a real person but responds instantly (within 1-3 seconds) with a huge paragraph telling you "sorry but the system has done an analysis and the charge was justified so you will not be getting a refund".

They always do this, and then if you make a chargeback through your card, they shadowban you from placing orders. I've been banned and was still charged for the subscription service.

You get the idea, complete scammers. Welcome to Latin America.

Delivery ppl are bad customer service team is even worse

I wish I could move along without clicking a star, becase I feel giving them 1 star is to much credit. They charge your card before the restaurant accepts the order or they even know if they have a driver for the order, so then when something happens which is 50 percent of the time it takes atleast 15 days for you to get your money back. Then I added on a couple lighters to an order from the same store today, and for some reason they sent them with a different driver, I assume just so they can get away with charging me the extra fee, when it was supposed to be free for a last minute add on. So then when I was watching the main order the other guy comes, and does't send me a message, or anything and then when I contact later they send me a random picture of the sidewalk infront of the beach I live next to with nothing on it, If they were left they would of gotten stollen but I don't think the guy even left them behind, and then they told me I violated the terms of service. Half of the drivers are great, the other half are beyond terrible, and every one of the people at customer service are worst then any company i've ever seen. It's disgusting at one time they had over 200 dollars of mine becaue they cancelled 5 orders in the same weeks span here in MX, they would say they couldn't find a driver when it was only searching for one for about 10 seconds, the first 10 seconds after I submitted, but they made sure to charge my card first, so I had to wait 2 weeks to get the money back on each of them, and it added up quick. I HATE this company, avoid them if you can..

Solid delivery company

I’ve used them dozens of times for food/grocery delivery in Colombia. Occasionally there’s an issue with an order(wrong item purchased) but they’ve quickly responded and refunded.

BEWARE! BEWARE!!

BEWARE!!! I was in Medellin, the restaurant CANCELLED my order and said my money would be refunded to me!! It's been OVER A MONTH! And STILL I haven't received anything!!! It was an over $50 order!! Rappi is a SCAM!! Rappi told me to go to the HELP part of the app, which I did!!! And STILL NO REFUND!! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

DO NOT USE RAPPI EVER!

I ordered 2 chargers to the Mac
Store through rappi and then they cancelled my order with no explanation whatsoever and they kept all the money which it was more than $1,000 Mexican pesos! So I got no chargers and I got robbed of that money. How is this fair? They are criminals! They shouldn’t be allowed to operate anywhere!

Terrible Service and Unhelpful Support

My recent experience with Rappi (Cali, Colombia) has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite updating my delivery address, a glitch occurred when I also updated my credit card details, automatically reverting my delivery address to the default one without any notification. This resulted in the delivery being sent to the wrong location, which I only discovered when the delivery guy arrived.

To make matters worse, when I tried to rectify the situation by sending the correct address to the delivery person, they didn’t bother to reply and instead simply cancelled the order. The unresponsiveness and lack of cooperation from the delivery person added to the frustration.

What’s even more infuriating is the lack of assistance from Rappi’s support. I reached out for help, but they claimed there was nothing they could do once the order was placed. Blaming me for not checking is not only unprofessional but also completely disregards the technical issues that led to this mess.

The restaurant, instead of assisting, provided no help and merely stated that they couldn’t see the updated information.

I was left scrambling to salvage the situation, but the unresponsiveness from both the delivery person and the restaurant compounded the problem. This level of incompetence and unhelpful support is inexcusable. I strongly caution against using Rappi until they address their systemic issues and provide better customer support.

Rappi is a disgrace.

I used Rappi in Peru a few times, it’s a throw of dice to get food delivered on time. Don’t bother using or you will most likely lose your money. Their customer service is terrible and their delivery people take the food for themselves, specially if you have an expensive order.

The hell is wrong with this company

The hell is wrong with this company.
I live in Chihuahua and my order got cancelled for an unexplained reason which I am totally cool with. But why the hell y'all gotta charge me still ? It's been over 3 weeks and I still haven't received my refund.

.. so that's cool it happens and I guess I just gotta wait and live without groceries until they pay me back.

But now, what's up with your targeted ads ? I feel like this company is threatening me, their YouTube ads are insane!
There's literally been a constant ad in Spanish saying this " MIENTRAS SIGUES VIVO, DISFRUTA RAPPI "
Which translates to " While you are still alive you should enjoy our service.
What kind of ad is this, I've never ever seen this ad before until now, and it only appears at night.

Another creepy ad telling me that I have a discount for any sexual products that I am in need of, so basically the company is hinting me to go fk myself ?

And the final straw, just got an ad from this company advertising tampons ?
So yall are now hinting that I'm on my period or something, I'm a dude. What is this ?

I know this seems absurd but I wish I had a " Record the last 30 minutes " button on life just to show everyone how creepy and odd these targeted ads are. And It might seem like an over reaction but I use several delivery apps here such as didi,uber,bodega Aurrera, Walmart, and amazon and I've never ever ever ever in all my years using the internet have I seen ads like these ones.

And how come y'all don't wanna make money ?
Usually whenever there is a mistake anywhere in the world, my money gets refunded immediately or it never even gets charged until later, thus I continue to purchase other items or alternatives within the same service because the money is still mine.
I see it as a miniscule or even irrelevant profit lost for the company as this month is very important and I was going to order soooo many things for a few upcoming birthday events and the superbowl event, so you can pretty much guess that if the company gave immediate refunds I would have spent well over more than 500 bucks just these two months alone, an approximate of about 10,000 MXN.
But instead it's 0 now

Steer clear - actual criminals

Only way to describe this business is a criminal organisation. Accept orders that never receive the restaurant, claim that they carry out ‘detailed analysis’ and no refund will be made, when there is clear evidence to show no delivery happened. From reading other reviews this has happened to many others - it’s literal theft. Steer clear - I have disputed with my bank who have assured me they will sort this out, never ever have I come across a business that operates like this - absolute joke.

Do not make business with criminals

Please do yourself a favor and do not use this service. They just stole 283000 COP from us ($72). We ordered meat and the courier did not want to leave it at the reception desk, asked for a code they never gave us. Now the driver kept the meat and our money is gone. 2 hours with the customer service and they insist that robbery is legal.
