I have always loved Rat & Boa pieces, but this experience has completely ruined my trust in the brand.
I paid €260 for the Cairo dress, received it damaged on arrival, and followed every return instruction immediately. The package was delivered back to their Netherlands return hub on 27 October, yet I haven’t received any update, response, or support since.
I have emailed them, messaged through multiple channels, and waited patiently for days, and I have been completely ignored.
For a premium brand, this level of customer service is unacceptable.
I needed the dress for a special event and now I’m left without the dress and without any communication at all.
Rat & Boa makes beautiful designs, but beauty doesn’t mean anything if the brand doesn’t respect its customers.
Right now, this has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.

Awful customer service. I sent 3 dresses back , the day after I received them, recorded delivery as they didn't fit me. I had a confirmation email confirming they had received them and the refund could take up to 10 days. I waited for 2 weeks before contacting them again to advise there is still no refund. I received an automated response saying if the refund still hadn't appeared, it would be transferred to a human agent. No one has contacted me, I have emailed again, no response. I have sent a whatsapp, which hasn't been read and no response. I have tried the chat on the webpage which is just a bot asking for an email address. I am still waiting for £300 refund, which I am concerned I won't receive, as no one is responding to me. I have never dealt with such appalling customer service and will never shop here again. I paid on my credit card as well, so have had to make the payment to avoid being charged.

I ordered a top and pants from this website for my wedding which cost me more than $650. When they arrived, the top was too small, and the pants I was on undecided on. I returned the top the day it arrived and thought I’ll think about the pants and see if I can find another top to go with. After a weekend of searching at the shopping mall, I couldn’t find a top that matched, so three days after I returned the top, I decided to return the pants. The return was delivered promptly (over a week ago), and the cost for my top was refunded, but they are claiming they never received my second parcel, which had the pants ($170 worth). I’ve now had to raise a dispute as despite Aus post tracking showing it was delivered, they have said they have no record of my pants arriving. Will never shop from them again. Terrible customer service.

I’m writing this review because I am extremely disappointed with Rat & Boa’s lack of communication and customer service.
I’ve been a loyal customer for quite some time and have always loved their clothes, but this recent experience has really shaken my confidence in the brand. Despite already emailing about my issue, I’ve received no response at all — and this isn’t the first time I’ve had to chase a refund.
So far, only part of my refund has been processed (£200), while the remaining amount of £164.50 for Order No. 301815 is still outstanding. I kept one item (the swimsuit) but returned the Fiorella Dress, and despite doing everything correctly, I’ve been left waiting and ignored.
It’s honestly so frustrating and disheartening to have to go through this again. I never expected to have to chase down my own money twice, especially from a brand I genuinely admired. I really hope Rat & Boa address this quickly and improve how they handle customer issues, because right now, I feel completely let down.
I received my order last week, but unfortunately, the quality is quite poor for the price, and one of the dresses doesn’t fit. I decided to return some of the items and followed the return instructions on your website, entering my email and order number. However, the system keeps saying that my email and/or order number are incorrect, even though I copied them exactly as shown in the confirmation email.
I’ve already contacted tear and boa via email, WhatsApp, and Instagram to report the issue. So far, I have only received automated responses saying someone will get back to me, but it has been a week now with no update.
At this point, I’m concerned I will lose my right to return the products. I wouldn’t order again for this reason I believe customers’ rights are more important than nice-looking but pure synthetic dresses.
Update: a week after I wrote this review a human assistant contacted me and the brand actually refunded the amount I asked for.
I can’t express enough how TERRIBLE @ratandboa is at costume service. Its been almost a week since I’ve tried to return my parcel and it’s been impossible! I’ve read that I’m not the only one with this issue. PLEASE take this into consideration when buying anything from them. I know I won’t ever again!
I wish I read the reviews before I purchased because the customer service here is appalling or non existent. Rat and Boa I have emailed you and what’s apped you about my recent purchase, Royal Mail has delivered my package to some cupboard that’s is not mine and sighed a signature with my name that is also not mine, I mean honestly if the item is delivered to a cupboard who signs as the receiver the cupboard? I paid over £400 for an item that I have not received and still have no response on, I have submitted clear evidence showing that my cupboard is padlocked, my cctv history of no post man approaching, none of my neighbours have it. Items of the value should be signed for in my view but that’s just my opinion. Very poor customer service. I received my items which fitted poorly. They approved my request. I was unable to download invoice, tried on multiple devices. Customer services are currently dragging this out and I’ve still not had a response. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Please read other review as well, I wish I did.
I placed 2 orders from Rat and Boa around the same time.
I fully returned 1 order and partially returned the other. I received a full refund for 1 order and have not received the partial refund for my second order.
I reached out to customer service to inquire about the second refund that I am waiting on because FedEx tracking shows that it was received weeks ago and the customer service agent tells me via email that there is no record of my order. Mind you I am attaching screenshots from the rat and boa portal that show the order number/order details. I am able to pull up my order on their website and send emails that I have gotten from them with the order number as well as the return label and proof that it was returned and received and they tell me to contact them back when I have the proper order number?!?!
It’s shocking to me that a label which price dresses the way they do have such subpar & incompetent customer service. I’m convinced that I wasn’t even talking to a real person and that the person emailing me was actually AI. The lack of comprehension was ridiculous. I have emailed back multiple times noting that there was an issue with my return via their portal and there has been no response. I try to chat with a live agent via their “contact us” service on their website and it keeps saying that Sophie joined the chat, but there is no response.
I don’t understand why a person cannot help me figure out this issue so that I can get my refund initiated.

I order a dress during the 72hs sale. Unfortunately, my purchase was cancelled because there was no more stock. I was informed about this and the money was refunded immediately. Additionally, I received an email saying that if the dress was available and I decided to buy it again, I could let them know and the discount applied before would be reimbursed. That's exactly what happened.
On top of this, the delivery process was super fast and smooth. I received an email saying the time and date that I should expect my order at it arrived as it was indicated.

I ordered a Cobra Lime skirt and top. The skirt I ordered was too large, and I ordered a replacement that ended up having a rip in it. The customer service team was awesome in helping me sort it out and getting me a new skirt. They even helped ship things fast, making sure it was shipped before new tariffs went into effect in the USA. I love the gauzy vibe of the set and would order from here again!
I tried to contact rat and boa for 3 weeks by multiple emails, WhatsApp, instagram dms and comments left on photos and chats. I kept receiving either automated responses that were not helpful (or that made any sense) or no response at all. It was truly so strange being completely ignored by a company I’ve been so loyal to for years! Anyways eventually they answered and let me return the item way passed the return window but it took a long time.

I bought one dress 320€ more than 1 month ago and i never received it.
I m trying to contact them since weeks to solve my case and i have my money back.
Since UPS ( the delivery company) told them that they declared lost and confirmed that i never received it, RAT and BOA dont answer me anymore.
Despite my numerous attempts to contact the customer care via all channels, form WhatsApp to IG, from email to live chat. I have never received any response or update on the status of my order. As an online brand, I imagine that the sales experience and customer service are of primary importance. Unfortunately, my experience so far has been anything but positive. The lack of response from your customer service is unacceptable. I placed an order with express delivery and have already paid the full amount, but at the moment I have no idea if and when I will receive my order for a total amount of 332€ that are actually lost. This situation is causing me great stress.

I ordered 2 dresses at the start of August and decided to return both as they didn’t quite fit the dress code of my event. The return was processed on the 14th AUGUST and I am still waiting for my money.
I’ve contacted the company multiple times and when they finally got back to me they said there was a delay (!) and that I would get my money soon, with no clear time frame. This was done on a credit card and is now impacting my credit score. It is absolutely shocking customer service
