David Kness Investment Manager in Winchester has been excellent during my commencement with him particularly during Covid and subsequently in dealing with my portfolio. David is very patient, prompt, and extremely knowledgeable; he accepted I was not financially aware, and has guided my savings into appropriate envelopes as I was better paid. Generational connections and the needs of customers are evolving. Rathbones offers a very broad range of services and investment is just one dimension. Their web provision has improved in many ways and presentations are made by senior executives to communicate relevant economic and financial views on line.
At a time where market returns are volatile and sometimes flat, customers may be tempted to use less costly self-service investment providers. Thus there is a need from a local base to be certain that Rathbones can bridge the gap between local / relevant and corporate and strategic. Trustpilot reviews may correctly provide acknowledgement to staff in a city office. However, customer intelligence across a range of scales and geographies will be required to maintain the customer base and satisfaction levels given strong market competition.

Rathbones, and in particular Kirsty Cartwright, have been great and very attentive. They help my mother in a difficult situation recently and the family are very happy with the service and help we continue to receive.

I visited Rathbones in Edinburgh and met with Keith MacKenzie. I was accompanied by my eldest son who is an executor of my will. The objective was to review the performance of my Rathbones investment and familiarise both with my portfolio. We were treated hospitably and were in receipt of a number of useful observations and suggestions. Further, a request for some specialised research was dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
