I rely on efficient tools to keep operations running smoothly. Rebrandly used to be a reliable link shortening service, but my recent experience trying to perform a simple administrative task has completely changed my perspective.

The Core Issue
I simply needed to download my monthly receipts to send to accounting. What should have taken thirty seconds turned into an infuriating loop of automated incompetence.

The AI Support Nightmare
Rebrandly has replaced effective customer service with an AI assistant named Brandy. This bot is fundamentally broken and wasted a significant amount of my time. During my attempt to get my invoices, I experienced the following issues:
Outdated Instructions: The bot repeatedly directed me to a "Billing history" section under "Account settings." This section does not exist in their current user interface.

Endless Loops: Even after I provided screenshots and the bot openly acknowledged that my dashboard layout was different and missing the required tabs, it continued to parrot the exact same useless instructions.

Zero Problem Solving: The AI confirmed that receipts are not sent automatically by email and that there is no direct link to access them. Its only solution was to tell me to look at the screen we had already established did not contain the information.

Poor Escalation Protocol: There was no intuitive way to reach a human. I had to explicitly demand an agent. Instead of connecting me to live support, the bot simply created an email ticket, further delaying a basic request.

Final Verdict
When a platform's artificial intelligence wastes a customer's time by stubbornly insisting on clicking buttons that do not exist, the platform has failed. I have zero tolerance for vendors that make basic account management a chore.
If you run a business and need reliable access to your billing records without fighting a poorly programmed chatbot, you should take your business elsewhere. Rebrandly used to be much better than this.

Rebrandly is charging me money even though I have never signed up with them. Most recently they charged me $48.75 twice on the same day. I do not have an account with them. I have had to cancel my credit card account because of this. They have not responded to my emails requesting an explanation. So far they have cheated me out of about $135, and because I didn't notice the charges soon enough, there's nothing I can do about it.

I am using a trial account before considering to sign up. I am now seriously closing the account completely having experienced slow servers and no customer support after 3 days.

Despite the link gallery appearing on my mobile phone it fails to load in Chrome and Safari on my MacBook. It just buffers and says loading data.

The app overall is rather basic and could do with improving.

Slow response in any shape or form will destroy any small business. Given the very slow responses overall I see no value in having branded links.

I judge a business by how it responds to problems.

Even with reviews, it does seem that Rebrandly are very selective which negative reviews they reply to, which speaks volumes.

Terrible customer service and janky payment systems.

We had 2 domains, 1 active, 1 legacy from a sister brand.

We wanted the active domain to renew and the legacy domain to expire, and set up the renewal instructions as such.

Somehow both expired (meaning broken links in our customer emails) and yet both also had statuses that they would auto-renew, inlcuding the one we don't want.

And after 4 days of expiry there is still no sign of the "correct" domain renewing.

Their chatbot instructs you to do what you've already done, then apologises and suggests emailing someone.

Nobody answers their support@ email addresses after 24 hours+ despite the claim that they answer "in a few hours" (automated ticket-receipt confirmation emails don't count, folks).

We will now hit the weekend with broken links in our customer emails and our colleagues in sales panicking.

Not recommended at all. This is the second year of difficulties with their renewal processes. Buyer beware.

Had no problems until recently when due to a bug we couldn't use an addon domain we purchased. Their first answer to the ticket was 3 days later and utterly useless. I then reiterared the problem and proposed a solution that would fix our problem instantly until they manage to fix the bug. They just ignored it. One week later, we still can't use what we paid for. I'm sorry this happened, otherwise this would have been a 5 star review.

There's no option to delete my account with them. They make in very hard to contact them via support. There's no public email address to make GDPR requests.

I’ve been getting spammed by Asian scammers for almost a year now, and for some reason they stubbornly keep sending me links to this service. I carefully forward complaints to support. Recently, I’ve noticed that they refuse to block these links, even though I provide all the evidence of violations.

Because of this, I cannot recommend this service for any legitimate business. I believe that nowadays, when there is so much fraud on the internet, humanity should stop using shortened links. From a security standpoint, we should see the final website, not some obscure short link.

I have set up a filter that deletes all emails containing shortened links. Security comes first. And link-shortening services should be left in the past as a tool for scammers hiding the real host.

I had an issue with my account and the first person I contacted was Kristi, who unfortunately came across as quite rude. Even so, I kept trying to get help and eventually connected with Brandy. She was extremely kind, understanding, and genuinely took the time to listen to my situation. She reassured me that she understood the issue and said she would forward it to someone who could properly take care of it.

When I followed up later, I was helped by Iris, who honestly felt like an angel. She fixed my account and resolved everything without any hassle. Brandy and Iris truly made my day. Their professionalism, empathy, and willingness to help really stood out. People like them deserve a lot of appreciation.

We are a non-profit organization and we have been using Rebrandly for over a year, finding it extremely useful. We use it as a URL shortener for social media posts and messages, and as a QR code generator for printed leaflets and presentations. It is very convenient for directing people to our website, to survey forms, or to donation campaigns. Having personalized URLs is essential for us, and the free plan includes all the basic features we need. The platform is easy to use, fast, and reliable.

As a freelancer, I use rebrandly for so many things! Myself and other people. I love the convenience it gives and the tracking. I created a link to my newsletter sign up several years ago and it's neat to see how many times it's been clicked on over the years! And I love that I can use it for free right now. Eventually, I'll need to upgrade, but right now, it's nice not have to pay for it.

The experience has been unacceptable. I’ve had more downtime with your service than with any other provider. You need more capable engineers or a different infrastructure altogether. My business shouldn’t suffer because of your recurring failures. These outages disrupt our operations, frustrate our customers, and cost us time and money. The least you could do is notify us when you’re experiencing issues instead of leaving us to troubleshoot blindly. Your pricing certainly isn’t low, yet downtime is frequent and reliability is inconsistent.

All branded links not working - second time in 2 weeks. No way to contact support. Statuspage is stale and does not reflect they have been down for over 3 hours now.

BAD BAD BAD BAD!!! THEY WILL MAKE SUTTLE TECHNIQUES TO MAKE YOU PAY THEM MORE!
I bought a domain and I didnt want to use them as a platform because they offer cheap service and crappy UI to actually help your workflow.
They then ask you to pay 14$ per month if you wanna do anything with this domain. So I tried to move it to cloudflare for hours just to realize they hold your domain for 60 days before releasing it. this is scam technique, simple but effective. never trust someone who isnt 100% honest.

I had a really good experience in tracking the details of my links and sharing personalized links with branded domains.

It's a great tool for managing my links. They're constantly improving the user interface and experience. Every week, I see improvements in the application.
