A unique opportunity to own a piece af history, to honour a brave pilot, and to help restore the Spitfire X0009. It is well made, handsome watch, quite worth the wait. It came elegantly packaged. REC kept me informed and I knew it would take time for the special order. It is a great conversation piece. I have ordered a second REC watch as well

Love this watch - a really unique timepiece and wonderful concept supporting the restoration of the BoB spitfire. Great finish and appearance. Communication from the REC team has been first class.

The watch itself is amazing but the band has some of the cordage coming apart. The clasp is really nice, I didn’t like it at first but I love it now.

I still have not received the watch I ordered in September.

Update: We received the watch and my husband truly loves it. There was a problem with FedEx but customer service at REC handled it very professionally. Thank you!

The time piece is incredible! The idea behind the restoration of historic artefacts is genius and executed exceptionally. Their communication was very prompt and helpful when experiencing delays beyond their control. The team worked tirelessly to achieve their christmas orders. Thank you team REC!

The delivery was quite late, but I must admit it was worth the wait! The spitfire watch is an absolute beauty 👌 I’m happy to contribute to the preservation of history and Rec Watches journey 💫

I bought 2 watches from REC, they were very good looking but neither of them kept good time. The Spitfire inspired watch also developed a fault, making it hard to set, and the self winding pendulum would rotate when manually winding. Returning the watches was not an easy process because the company is in Denmark. I was sent a video showing the watches on a rotating device, and was told that the watches were within their parameters.

I purchased a 901 Gunther werks watch.
It's just what I wanted...... When I received it wasn't working, so I contacted REC who were brilliant, it was repaired under warranty, I also received a very generous discount and the shipping from DHL (£329),yes you read it. REC contributed to this too. Can't thank them enough.
Ps....... Today I took my watch off to adjust it, I put it down to wash and my mischievous pomeranian pup has by some miracle has taken it and has been found with it on the lawn!!!!
Gutted and angry with myself as it's damaged... I don't think it will get repaired under warranty but I have asked to see what they can do.

Beware of hidden charges!
It clearly states on the order confirmation, the shipping confirmation and the invoice free shipping by Fed-Ex. After my item was received I was emailed by Fed-Ex stating I owed them for importing the item from Denmark!
I emailed REC regarding this and they have said it is due to Brexit and that it is in their Terms and Conditions! In other words in the small print!
So on top of the cost of the watch I have a bill of £66.91 from Fed-Ex which I did not budget for!
I would not have ordered the watch had I known! and I won’t be ordering from REC Watches again!
