Both my children had tuition with Red Bird and both passed their respective exams. Sue also very kindly agreed to give my daughter a reference for her UCAS application which we were very grateful for. Would highly recommend them.

We had a couple of tutor sessions to help our son through a small amount of prep that he wanted guidance on prior to his English Literature GCSE. He found the sessions really useful and he got exactly what he wanted from them.
The sessions were really easy to arrange and the tutor he had was excellent.

I had two of my children go through Red Bird for their GCSE years in Maths and one in Science. Sue took the time to understand what we needed and then allocated the tutors. Both of our tutors were excellent, going above and beyond our expectations. Both Maths and Science were passed with higher grades than expected.

We were obviously pleased with that, but it was actually more important that the children felt supported during their GSCEs, had a place to go over topics they didn't understand without any fear and could ask any questions they had. The environment Red Bird created for this was excellent as well as being slick with their operations and secure (which lots of tutors do not do).

I would highly recommend Sue & the team on all levels and would go as far as to say I don't think the 7's would have been attained if it hadn't been for them! HUGE thank you to Hena and Ray as well as Sue & Sally.

Sue was helpful and provided us with A few tutor options. We met Caroline online and decided to have her as our Daughters GCSE biology tutor, a 1 to 1 session for an hour, weekly. We found the cost to be reasonable and similar to other tutors in our area.

Our daughter progressed from a grade 4 in her mock exam to getting a grade 9 in her GCSEs. We could not be happier with the whole tutoring experience, our first!

Caroline was professional, warm, expert, patient and very well prepared. Being able to go back to review the sessions and notes on the platform was very beneficial.

My daughter’s confidence was extremely low after her GCSE mock exams, she hadn’t achieved anywhere near her predicted grades. We chose Red Bird Tutoring, Jane her tutor in English, was fantastic in helping my daughter break down and understand how to answer questions. This has also helped her in other subjects. This alleviated so much of the exam stress for her and we’re both really excited to find out her exam results in August. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again!

Our daughter was getting a Grade 4 for her Business GCSE in her mocks. We had heard of Red Bird Tutoring through recommendations so we signed up to weekly 1-1 online classes. We are absolutely delighted to report that she achieved a Grade 7 and was only 3 marks off an 8! We would definitely use Red Bird Tutoring again if needed for A Levels or for her younger sister. We have been working with Sue and Red Bird for English GCSE - our son has been so relaxed and happy about the prospect of the exams, we credit Sue with this totally as before we started at Red Bird he was very stressed about the prospect of exams and his mocks caused much angst. Sue has supported and prepared him not just for English but all his subjects.

He suffers with panic attacks and some mental health issues and working with Sue has really helped him with his mental health and preparedness.

He’s already asked if Sue can tutor him for A Levels!

The tutor accommodates your child’s needs and requirements and ensures they have a good understanding with you about your child to connect you to the right tutor. What a relief to have joined the Red Bird family! My year 3 and year 5 children have loved their small group English sessions and it has definitely put the fun back into learning for them both.

My son Charlie has been with Red bird for almost a year now and will be heading in to year 11 this September. Red bird have been fantastic with the support they have given to my Charlie who is also dyslexic. He looks forward to his sessions and gets on great with his tutor Amy.
The communication at Red Bird is excellent and in particular, through lockdown, they have continued to offer their sessions on line which has been crucial to Charlie and his studies.
